Britney Plans To Sing Live On Her Next Tour?

We hope so!

Along with giving the world a new album, sources claim that Britney Spears is planning a comeback tour that will start in Ireland later this year.

A lot of fans were disappointed by Britney's Circus tour last year, mostly because for the majority of the time, she was lip-syncing. Though we understand why she did it, we can't help but agree with the masses in wanting to hear Brit-Brit give us her all, truly and completely live.

Well, according to one source, that's exactly what we're going to get! An insider close to Britney says that this time "she will be singing live," adding, "Britney wants to win back the support she lost on the last tour."

It's a good idea, but singing live might mean sacrificing a lot of the action on stage, particularly all the dancing that she does. We'd be okay with that, personally, but we don't know if promoters would be so keen on it.

We're also taking this with a grain of salt. Brit's not even done with the album yet, so we imagine talks of a tour are pretty preliminary.

Still, fingers crossed that Brit-Brit will deliver another tour and do at least a few numbers live.

Wouldn't U like to see that?

Neil Patrick Harris, And Patti LuPone, And Stephen Colbert! Oh My!

nph stephen colbert patti lupone join company cast

We SO wish we could be there for this! What an incredible cast!

Between April 7-9, Company will be playing for the New York Philharmonic with a wonderful cast including Neil Patrick Harris, Patti LuPone, Anika Noni Rose, Martha Plimpton, AND Stephen Colbert!

The musical concert is being directed/produced by Lonny Price, who directed last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert!, and it's being conducted by "Sondheim specialist" Paul Gemignani.

The musical's NY-based story "follows five married, once-married, and soon-to-be-married couples and their mutual friend, Robert (NPH), a bachelor who has been unable to connect in a long-term relationship."

The show has an award-winning history on Broadway, and was most recently revived at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in 2006.

Stephen Colbert and NPH sharing the stage??? We'd LOVE to see that!!!

Brit Brit's Femme Fatale Delayed TWO Weeks!

Awww! Crap!

Although it was originally announced to be released on March 15th, Britney Spears' upcoming album, Femme Fatale, has been pushed back to March 29th!

Ugh! What gives, bb?

We want it sooner rather than later!

In retrospect, we guess it's not too much of a surprise, seeing as they released the single before the album was even complete!

But if this means that the extra few weeks will allow them to make it as AMAZING as possible, then so be it!

We'll be patient…but begrudgingly! Ha!

What do U think?? Are U disappointed that Brit Brit is being delayed??

"I think some people will die on the stage, and I'm not so sure I want to do that. Like, I want to have kids! I'm totally fine with saying that. I think some people are scared because they're worried it's going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life."

Yes! Simon Cowell's just made us THAT much more excited about this!

This morning on The Today Show, Matt Lauer interviewed Simon via satellite about bringing The X Factor stateside.

Check out the video to hear Simon talk about the show, the success he hopes it will get and the very secret line-up of judges! (above)

Okay, he only hints at who the other judges might be. He says that one of the them is very "cute," while the other guy is "less attractive" than him!

Hmm! You know who is less attractive than Simon Cowell?

Sadly, J. Paul Getty III Dies

Balthazar Getty Father Dies

So sad. Pictured above is his son, Balthazar Getty.

We're finding out that J. Paul Getty III passed away Saturday, in Buckinghamshire, England, due to a lengthy illness.

You might remember him as the kidnap and, terribly, mutilation victim from 1973. His grandfather, Jean Paul Getty, was an oil magnate.

Balthazar remembers his dad:

"[He] taught us how to live our lives and overcome obstacles and extreme adversity."

That he did.

A bit about what he went through:

"At the age of 16, Getty was abducted in Rome by kidnappers who said he was being held by the Mafia. His father and grandfather, then the richest man in the world (and notoriously the cheapest, with a pay phone in his London mansion), thought it a hoax and refused to pay the $3 million requested ransom. Four months later, they received a package containing a lock of hair and a human ear.

Threatening to dismember their victim "piece by piece," the kidnappers also sent photos of the young Getty. Eventually, the grandfather paid $2.2 million and lent his son the remainder of the $3 million – with interest. Getty was released on Dec. 15, 1973, his grandfather's 81st birthday."

Horrible, right? We definitely understand what Balthazar means when he talks about overcoming adversity.

Our hearts go out to the Getty family in these tough times!

Nigel Lythgoe Developing New Country Music Singing Competition!

He's proven time and time again that the shows he produces are successful, so we doubt that this will be any different!

American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, and his son, Simon, have teamed up for a brand new country music singing-songwriting competition, called CMT's Next Superstar!

Starting up in April, the ten episode series will feature a cast full of hopefuls traveling around to various locations and recording and writing music inspired by them! The finale will be held at Nashville's Ryman auditorium, and the winner will be announced during the CMT Awards in June, along with their first single!

And in case you were concerned that this sounds a little bit too much like Nashville Star, Simon explains:

"No one episode is the same. We're changing locations all the time, shooting in Nashville, Memphis and Texas. Every challenge is different. On Nashville Star, they didn't have media challenges. We're giving them radio training and putting them through photo shoots and music video challenges. We're putting them on a tour bus. You're really going to get to know these contestants really well, just by being with them 24-7. We're putting the onus on the contestants, where they can really make the song their own. We will pick the genres and they have to then turn it into a country song, but make it their own. So if they want a fiddle, they can have it. If they want a steel guitar, they've got it. They can go their own their path, but they are responsible for how they perform. We'll give them the tools, they have to take control of it. We're not the run-of-the-mill, studio-based, glitz and glamour show. Similar to Idol, we will have a guest judge each week who specializes in a particular field. If we're shooting a music video, which is one of the challenges, we will show all the backstage stuff, the director, the casting, how they produce it. Then we'll stream it to film students who vote to determine who the bottom two contestants are. Otherwise the judges decide."

And Nigel continues:

"Country music is all about storytelling, personalities and putting yourself into the songs. This show is not about going to a set, it's about being in a location that has history to it. We're down and dirty in the heart of Nashville. It not just going to be another American Idol production, why would I be involved in that? I've got the best. From my point of view, I want to change it up totally."

Wow!

It sounds like a pretty comprehensive, intense, but AMAZING competition!

We're definitely interested in checking this out when it airs!

Keep us posted, guys! We're looking forward to this one!

Thoughts??

jennifer aniston assures the world shes happy

Forget what you may have heard! Jennifer Aniston wants to assure the world that she's a happy person.

Here's what she had to say about it in the new issue of People:

"I'm really happy. Really!"

"I think people honestly just want to see me as a mom and married and barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, and I just want to say, 'Everybody, relax! It's going to happen.' "

Aww…don't worry, Jennifer! We know it'll happen!

Besides, we're much more skeptical about Keanu Reeves' happiness than yours. LOLz!

Do U think Jennifer Aniston is an overall happy person?

Prince Harry Spotted With Ex Chelsy Davy…Again!

Posted: 09 Feb 2011 11:30 AM PST

Whip out the seating chart for your wedding, Prince William. Your kid brother just might have a plus one!

Earlier this week we reported that Prince Harry was spotted spending time with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Now, new reports are coming in that the pair's been spending even more time together and have even gone out on an actual date.

Over the weekend, his Highness took Chelsy for an intimate dinner at the Clos Maggiore in London's Covent Garden – a restaurant, we've been told, that is considered to be one of the most romantic in the U.K. According to reports, the couple dined on braised rabbit legs and duck breasts - that is, when they could pry their hands off each other! We're hearing their fingers were intertwined for the majority of their cozy meal.

Aww!

Oh yeah, love is most certainly in the air for these two and we're happy for them! If they can make it work this time around, maybe a second royal wedding won't be too far behind!
