Sandra Bullock and her beautiful baby boy Louis Bardo ventured out onto the cold streets of NYC this weekend and they were both bundled up against the frigid temps. But, you can tell that little Louis was being kept very warm by his closeness to his mother’s loving and protective bosom.


There ain’t nothin’ warmer than a mother’s loving embrace. It’s clear, Louis is in good hand when he is with his mother. Bless them both, they are adorable.

Britney Spears Releases A Fourth Teaser For Her ‘Hold It Against Me’ Music Video

Jude Law Steps Out With His Leading Ladies

It wasn’t that long ago that we saw many photos of Jude Law and his lady love Sienna Miller out and about together … but it’s been quite a few weeks since they’ve been seen in each other’s company. Let’s hope everything is alright between them. In the meantime, let’s check out these new cute photos of Jude with his daughter Iris and his ex-wife Sadie Frost out and about together. HMMM. I wonder where Sienna was.


These three do make a pretty picture … it’s nice to see that Jude and Sadie have remained close friends even after their divorce. I’m certain their children appreciate that mom and dad get along swimmingly. I can’t help but wonder where Sienna is tho … should we be worried do you think?

‘Glee’s Chord Overstreet Does ‘VMan’ Magazine

Glee hottie newcomer Chord Overstreet is featured in the new issue of VMan magazine and as you can see from the photos below, his smoldering and pouty good looks are a perfect match for the stylishly fabulous magazine.


Altho Chord‘s babyfaced cuteness isn’t really my cup of tea, I can appreciate why he would make all the girls and boys squeee with delight. Without question, Chord is a good-looking guy … but all of his photos look the same to me. He only has one look, plump lips open, doe-eyed expression. Prince Michael Jackson Is Rollin’ With His Homies

Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, the eldest child of the late Michael Jackson, was spotted tooling around town here in LA over the weekend rollin’ like a big dawg with his homies. As you can see, MJ‘s love of garish Ed Hardy clothing was passed down to the young Prince but I suppose we can forgive the lad for his questionable fashion tastes … for now.


MJ‘s little boy is growing up really fast. Pretty soon he’ll be the one behind the wheel, making his presence known here in Hollywood. Kids sure do grow up fast, don’t they? I can only hope that Prince here will also grow out of his apparent love of tacky Ed Hardy clothing :/

London Unveils A New Wax Statue Of Prince William Of Wales

So … a new waxwork statue of Prince William of Wales has gone on display in London, England this week in a new exhibit titled Engagement. As you can see, the artist who created the statue didn’t really capture the essence of Prince Wills in this likeness … at all. At another gallery, a painting of Kate Middleton titled God Save the Future Queen by an artist named Zoobs turned out much better than this wax statue did. It looks like even the art world is getting in on the Royal Wedding bandwagon.


I post a lot of fantastic photos of amazing-looking wax statues but, no, this one is NOT one of those. The painting tho, I love. It is currently on display at the Opera Gallery in London and has already sold for £20,000. What do y’all think of these two pieces? Which one is your fave?

It’s Official! Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Are Officially Hand-Holders In Lurve

Hide your eyes Bieber fans … cuz these photos are bound to break your little hearts into a million little pieces. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been hanging out for a few weeks now and this weekend decided to go really, really public when they decided to hit the beach together … on a hand-holding date! If you remember back to Middle School, thinks didn’t get really serious until you held hands with the person you were going out with so … I think it’s safe to say that Justin and Selena are truly boyfriend/girlfriend.


Selena strikes me as a really cute young woman and, well, Biebs is THE most eligible bachelor … erm, under the age of 18. Something about these photos smell of a planned PR stunt. I mean, it’s as if they are ready to show the world how much in LOVE they are with one another. Ah young love … ain’t it grand. And so … we bear witness to the birth of a major tween power couple. Behold, Justena!

P!nk Tweets A Photo Of Her Baby Bump

When last we saw photos of popstar P!nk out and about with her baby bump in tow, it was just before Xmas and she was lookin’ like a cute mama bear. Today we get to see a new photo of P!nk‘s burgeoning baby bump which she shared directly with her followers on Twitter. P!nk lamented that the paparazzi are not very good at being photographers so she decided to share a beautiful photo of her baby bump herself.

ALRIGHT… because paparazzi of today have absolutely no photograhic skill or artistry whatsoever, and their pictures are hideous…. / I’m going to post a self-portrait I took yesterday morning for all of you asking to see belly shots. 3 wks of photo classes for me… / and I am already a far better photographer than any one of them….. / have a great day everyone!!!!

I love it!! Yes, the photo is beautiful … I love her for sharing it with all of us. I stand by my contention that P!nk is going to be the coolest mom around. I can’t wait ’til she pops so we can see her out and about with her cute little baby in tow. I’m sure it won’t be long now … very soon, P!nk will be the new Mom.

Super Sunday

Yesterday David and I managed to get our house in order after our fun party Saturday night to make our way downtown to attend Ollie and Caleb’s Super Bowl party. Even tho we were a bit tired, there was nothing that was gonna keep us away from the fun. We had a blast.


Ollie and Caleb provided food, drink, illegal gambling and lots of love … what more could you ask for. We love them so much, ’twas a fun day indeed.

After the game, we came home to watch the Super Bowl episode of Glee … and I wore my customized Glee football jersey t-shirt for the occasion:


The always fantastic promo team at Fox sent me this shirt a couple of weeks ago so I had to wear it while I watched the episode. As you can see, I got #5 … the quarterback number :D We had a pretty full and very fun weekend, so I’m looking forward to a quiet week ahead. Happy Monday, y’all!!

All week long, Marvel Comics has been releasing new promo materials for their new film Captain America: The First Avenger (HERE, HERE and HERE) leading up to the big release of the first movie trailer yesterday on Super Bowl Sunday. In case you missed it or just want to watch it again, check it out below.


Over all, I really like the commercial … but there seems to be something missing. I love the quick reveal of what Red Skull will look like but the commercial didn’t feel very exciting to me:


I dunno … I’ve watched it a few times and, again, I like it but … I need more oomph, I think. What do y’all think? Are you impressed with this first look at The First Avenger?

Nicholas Hoult Does Korean ‘Esquire’ Magazine

Nicholas Hoult, the original Tony Stonem in the original UK series Skins, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Korean Esquire magazine. Many of you may recognize Hoult from his appearance in the Academy Award nominated film A Single Man and as the boy in About A Boy. If you are unfamiliar with the young man, these Esquire photos should give you a better understanding of his appeal.


No question, Nicholas Hoult is a handsome man … but his acting ability is the most attractive of his traits. Not only was he utterly superb in the first 2 seasons of Skins but he was an absolute scene stealer in A Single Man. Hoult also starred in the remake of Clash of the Titans but the less said about that movie, the better. Next up, we will see him in X-Men: First Class. Check out some of the photos below and try not to fall in love. He is really a remarkable young star. I can’t wait to see more of him and soon.

Watch: ‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’ Releases A Second Movie Trailer

Transformers: Dark of the Moon released a new video trailer during Super Bowl XLV yesterday and altho I, personally, didn’t find it as engaging as the teaser trailer we got to see back in December, I did enjoy the quick action scenes that are featured in the clip.


I’m not sure how I feel about the blaring alert sound that plays in this trailer but it deffo is attention-grabbing. Many movies debut their trailers during the Super Bowl in order to maximize viewership … to be honest, this ad didn’t really stand out among the other video trailers that were aired. I still believe that Dark of the Moon will be worth seeing and I absolutely contend it will be better then than last shitty Transformers movie that we got a couple of years ago. What do y’all think of this trailer? Does it make you want to see this film?

David Beckham Shows Off His New Old-Fashioned Look

For the past few months, David Beckham has been growing his hair out a bit longer and it appears we now know why he is doing so … over the weekend, Becks debuted his new old timey look at a soccer game in England. It would appear that Becks is going for an old fashioned, English gentlemen look these days.

He’s known for being a bit of a snappy dresser, but David Beckham seems to have swapped Californian cool for the English countryside with his latest look. The 35-year-old looked very smart as he turned out to watch Chelsea take on Liverpool on Sunday, wearing a brown tweed jacket with a brown scarf. And his new haircut, complete with a smattering of designer stubble, completed the stylish look. But despite being all dressed up, he appeared to be on his own on this occasion, watching the match alone with no sign of wife Victoria or his sons. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. It’s not the first time David has demonstrated a love of tweed. He also chose the look for Gordon Ramsay’s Christmas party last year, when he teamed a brown tweed jacket with a pink shirt and jeans. The Beckhams are Britain with children Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five, until the end of February while she prepares her latest collection for fashion week in London and New York, and he trains with Tottenham Hotspur before returning to the U.S. for the start of the football season there.

Awww … Becks looks cute as a dapper gentleman. To be honest, this isn’t my fave look but I can’t fault the guy for taking fashion risks. As you may recall, over the weekend we heard a rumor that Becks and wife Victoria Beckham are pregs with a baby girl … perhaps the news is true and Becks is preparing to welcome his daughter as a refined English gentleman. Whatever the reason, I think Becks looks good no matter what look he rocks. What do y’all think? Does Becks look good in tweed?

Are Prince Harry & Chelsy Davy Gettin’ Back Together?

In June of last year, we learned the sad news that Prince Harry of Wales and his longtime on-again-off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy had broken up … again. Today we learn that Chelsy made her way back to England this weekend and reportedly hooked up privately with Harry. It’s unknown if the couple hooked up as friends or if they hooked up as rekindled lovers but Chelsy‘s arrival in London has sparked chatter that she may be getting back with Prince Harry … right in time to attend the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton this Spring.

Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy apparently reunited at the weekend after she jetted back into the UK and they spent the night at a private members club. The couple, who split last Summer after five years together, were said to have been smuggled out of exclusive Beaufort House on Chelsea’s King’s Road at 4am on Sunday morning in the boot of a Jaguar. Today’s Sun and Mirror report that luggage was cleared to the front seat of the chauffeur driven car before security staff helped Prince Harry, 26, and Chelsy, 25, into the boot. Beaufort House is a favourite with the Chelsea set and was Voted Best Members Bar in London by the London Bar and Club Awards 2010 … Their night out had sparked speculation that they may get back to together, after ending their relationship last year. However, despite spending an evening together, it is not thought they have rekindled their romance. The night was a one-off where they spent time catching up, according to a source … It is also understood that the prince has invited her to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. St James Palace declined to comment.

LOLOLOLOL!! While I love the idea that Harry and Chelsy may be getting back together, I simply cannot believe for a second that the couple hid in the trunk of their car to avoid being seen together … no, sorry. But, even if the couple don’t get together romantically, I’m not surprised that Prince Harry would still invite her to the wedding. Chelsy has been a part of the Royal Family’s life for years … and, who knows, maybe the romance and excitement of the wedding will mend the couple’s broken relationship? I like Chelsy for Harry, I hope they do get back and stay together.

Eminem Teams Up With Chrysler For A Fantastic Super Bowl XLV Ad

Part of the fun of watching the Super Bowl year after year is the commercials. On Friday, I posted our first look at the brilliant and supercute Volkswagen commercial that features a little Darth Vader trying to use The Force on things all around the house. Yesterday, while watching the Super Bowl at Ollie and Caleb’s I fell MADLY in love with the Chrysler motor company commercial titled Born of Fire that featured Eminem and some of the most iconic buildings in Detroit, MI … my beloved home.


As soon as this commercial for the Chrysler 200 started, my heart stopped … I immediately recognized in the first frame the power plant that I have driven past on I-75 for all the years that I lived back home in Detroit. Without exaggeration, I was totally transfixed by the commercial. For me, Chrysler managed to make it clear that Detroit is the life blood of our country and it has a heart that will not be stalled … no matter how many hits Detroit takes. I think it may be difficult for people who live outside of Detroit and Michigan to understand how important the automotive industry is to our State — and to our country as a whole. Detroit is the Motor City of this nation and I love it with all of my heart. I’m not ashamed to admit that I actually teared up while watching this commercial for the first time yesterday. The Super Bowl party was in high spirits and I was sitting on the couch hoping that no one would notice that I was about to bawl my eyes out. Detroit truly is Born of Fire and it is tough … and I am very proud to call it my home. As much as I love that little Darth Vader, without question my fave Super Bowl commercial this year is this one from Chrysler. Whether you know it or not, Detroit really is the heart of this great nation. I’m so proud to see it getting the respect that it is due.

Eva Longoria & Eduardo Cruz Enjoy The Morning After

Yesterday we saw a couple photos of newly divorced Eva Longoria enjoying an evening yacht cruise with Eduardo Cruz (younger brother of Penélope Cruz) off the coast of Miami, FL over the weekend. Today we get to see new photos of the couple, still cruisin’ around in their LOVE BOAT, the morning after. HMMMM. I wonder what they might’ve gotten up to last night.


If you compare these photos to the ones that were snapped the nigh before, you will notice that both Eva and Eduardo are wearing the same clothes (tho, Eduardo is wearing a different hat). It would seem that these two spent a lovely night together … one that ran so late, they decided to just sleep over in the yacht. Now … just because these two spent the night together on a romantic yacht, it doesn’t mean that they are doin’ the nasty together. My guess is that, yes, they are … but we don’t know for sure. Eduardo is a hottie so I can’t say I’d blame Eva one bit if she decided to put the moves on him. I think they make a cute couple, don’t you? Again, I say, Get it, gurl.

Christina Aguilera Flubs The Lyrics To The National Anthem At Super Bowl XLV

If you’re ever going to mess up the words to our national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner, you prolly should do so at a minor event where you will minimize your embarrassment and hopefully escape media attention. Unfortunately for Christina Aguilera, that was not the case. In front of her largest audience ever, Xtina flubbed the lyrics to The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the largest television viewing audience of the year at Super Bowl XLV yesterday. Today, Xtina issues a statement that doesn’t really apologize for the error, nor does it really acknowledge that an error was made. See her flubbed performance and read her statement below

Christina Aguilera says she flubbed a line as she belted out the national anthem at the start of the Super Bowl after getting lost in the moment and losing her place. She says in a statement, “I got so lost in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it’s anthem still came through.” When she was supposed to sing the line “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” she instead repeated an earlier line, with a slight variation. She sang “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last gleaming,” which is the same line from earlier in the song but with the word ‘watched’ instead of ‘hailed.’ The mistake immediately set social networks abuzz with people commenting on the error.

In her defense, Xtina has successfully sung the national anthem many times before so we do know that she knows the words to the song. This is proof that even a seasoned performer can let nerves and excitement affect them no matter how many performances they have done in their career. Many folks are giving her credit for singing live and not lip-syncing but that to me doesn’t mean much. It is usually the norm for these performances to be pre-recorded and then played during the actual broadcast. Most famously, Whitney Houston performed to a pre-recorded track back in 1991 at Super Bowl XXV and it became a hit song after it was released in the wake of a wave of national pride during the first Gulf War:


It is for reasons like Xtina‘s mistake that the song is usually pre-recorded. Messing up the lyrics to one of the most difficult songs to sing EVER is understandable … but when it happens on such a large stage as the Super Bowl, well, you kinda just have to facepalm yourself and go Oh My Gawd! I, personally, am not a big fan of the way Xtina adds her “flourishes” when she sings. I, personally, do not find it impressive when she exaggerates lines while belting out songs. Absent the flub, I still wasn’t that particularly impressed with her performance over all. What do y’all think of Xtina‘s eff up … is it a big deal to you?
