SHE LIED?! A Texas Court Ruling Declares Mary Harvey's Allegations Against Steve Harvey Are False

A Texas court ruled in Steve Harvey's favor yesterday finding that Mary Harvey's allegations in her YouTube videos were lies.  Deets inside...

 

Bobbie Edmonds, Steve Harvey's lawyer, released a statement yesterday explaining what happened in court with her client and Mary Harvey.

According to Bobbie, the judge granted Steve a temporary injuction against those YouTube videos that Mary made, and gave the Harveys a "contempt of court" hearing date for March 10, 2011.  When the Harveys appear in court on that date, it will be to decide if Mary should be sanctioned or punished for violating the couple's gag order. 

Also in Steve's favor, the judge will allow him to clear his name by releasing information that proves Mary lied about him and his family. 

 

Here's a rundown of what the court declared yesterday:

(1) Mary Harvey was not left broke or destitute by Mr. Harvey after their divorce in 2005. She was paid $40,000/month until March 2009 and then paid a lump sum of $1.5 million;


(2) Mary Harvey was not left homeless after her divorce from Mr. Harvey in 2005. She was awarded three (3) homes in their property settlement;


(3) Mr. Harvey is the primary custodian of their 13 year old son, whom Mary Harvey willingly put on an airplane to his father. Mary Harvey sent him to his father without Mr. Harvey's knowledge; and


(4) The 2005 divorce of Steve and Mary Harvey was granted on the grounds of irreconcilable differences and his current wife was not named in the original divorce proceeding nor was she the cause of the marital break-up.

 

So there you have it.  The court found in Steve's favor and concluded that Mary lied.

Halle Berry Rocks March 2011 EBONY Mag Cover, Insists Nahla Is BLACK

Halle Berry is looking gorgeous as usual in all black on the cover of EBONY Mag's March 2011 cover.  While posing in a frilly, sheer, and very lingerie-like black dress and black lace bra, all while biting into a cherry, Halle talks about her appetite for everything delicious.  Especially her daughter, Nahla.

One of my fave EBONY covers so far, I must say.  Loving the outdoor country home background as the backdrop to something as luxe as sheer lacy frills on a sexy black dress.  And it sounds like Halle's holding nothing back when it comes to how she identifies her almost 3-year-old daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

Gabe has reportedly said that his daughter is NOT black and allegedly gets upset when anyone calls her such.  Halle disagrees.  Here's a few excerpts from her EBONY interview.

On Nahla

“I feel like she’s black. I’m black and I’m her mother and I believe in the one-drop theory. I’m not going to put a label on it. I had to decide for myself and that’s what she’s going to have to decide – how she identifies herself in the world. And I think, largely, that will be based on how the world identifies her. That’s how I identified myself. But I feel like she’s black.”

On dating outside her race

“Well, first thing I want to say is that I’m very connected to my community and I want black people to know that I haven’t abandoned them because I’ve had a child with a man outside of my race and I’m dating someone now outside of my race who is Spanish and French. I have never been more clear about who I am as a black woman. The people I have dated sort of hold up a mirror to me and help me realize more of who I really am.”

Well there you have it.  Halle says her daughter IS black and she has not abandoned the black race despite dating outside of it.  For all you who have been wondering....

NOT NEIL WINTERS! Kristoff St. John Popped For DUI

Aww damn!  "Young & The Restless" veteran and current star Kristoff St. John was popped for suspicion of DUI early Sunday morning.  Yes...BEFORE the Superbowl.

 

The deets on "Neil Winters"'s lock up when you read on... 

Just as his "Y&R" character is overcoming his alcoholism, Kristoff St. John was pulled over after 1am Sunday morning.  Which means he had to watch the Superbowl behind bars. According to TMZ:

Law enforcement sources say the longtime "The Young and the Restless" actor was pulled over for speeding on an L.A. freeway at 1:30AM Sunday.

We're told CHP officers gave St. John field sobriety tests ... and that he did poorly. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Kristoff was released on $5,000 bail Sunday evening.

First we had to deal with Cane getting killed off this week.  Now NEIL is getting DUI's in real life?  I can't!

HOLY SMOKES! Shots Fired In The Parking Lot Of Bishop Eddie Long's Church!

As if the New Birth Community Church hasn't been through enough with Bishop Eddie Long's sex scandal and the recent reports about failed investments of several church members, there was a shooting in the church parking lot last Saturday.  Deets inside...

 

This past Saturday, an unidentified man was shot in the parking lot of Bishop Eddie Long's New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA.  He is now in critical condition.

Authorities say the shooting is not connected to the church.  But with the shooting happening so close to communion Sunday, we wonder if there was a dispute between members of the mass choir about who would lead the processional.

The Devil is so busy.

Texas Showdown: Steve And Mary Harvey To Battle In Courtroom Today + Karrine Steffans Pens Book Of Sexual Fantasies

Like an old country western, with a black cast, there's a showdown in a Texas courtroom today. Steve Harvey and his ex-wife Mary Harvey finally have their day in court bringing to a climax the mudslinging that's been going on for the past few weeks. Get the deets inside plus news about the latest book from the world's most infamous video vixen.

 

Today, Steve and Mary Harvey will meet in a Collins County, Texas court room to hear the comedian's request for sanctions.  Mary is accused of violating an injunction against talking about the family’s custody case over the Internet.

There's also word that Marjorie Harvey, the current Mrs. Steve Harvey, is considering filing a defamation suit against Mary for the smack she talked about her in the videos on youtube.

As we told you earlier, Steve believes Mary prevented him from getting a show with Oprah. In one of her youtube clips, Mary said,

“As I sit and talk and speak right now, there’s a lawsuit that’s been filed against me in Texas, because in Steve’s opinion, I was responsible when Oprah didn’t give him a TV show. I’m being sued for that as I sit here on this sofa today.”

Steve Harvey’s attorney, Bobbie Edmonds responded to the youtube clip saying,

 “We are appalled and aware of the videos and the other fabricated documents, which were placed on the internet over the weekend by the ex-wife of Mr. Steve Harvey, which contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information about Mr. Harvey, his current wife and others.”

Karrine Steffans is readying the release of a new book of erotic fantasies called SatisFaction. The new tome is a book of erotic fiction with illustrations used to act as a love-making guide for interested couples.

One thing we can say for Ms. Steffans is she has carved a niche for herself in the erotica market and she keeps pumping out the materials.

So will we be getting the scoop on any hip-hop allstars? Maybe. Karrine says the book is Faction (fact + fiction). But no names will be mentioned.
