The Young, Black, and Fabulous

Meagan Good, Christina Milian, & More Get TASTEY On McDonald's Red Carpet

Posted: 27 Jan 2012 08:32 AM PST

The YBF folks hit up the McDonald's red carpet launch for their new McBites products.  And you know everybody loves a piece of chicken or two.  Check out the fab folks having fun on the carpet inside...

Christina Milian and her little black romper and cheetah print pumps kicked it on the carpet with fellow actress Meagan Good last night in Hollywood for the McBites event.

Think Like A Man star Meagan rocked her usual grey jeans and grey tank with grey booties--and still managed to look sexy getting a taste of the new product.

"The Voice" social media correspondent Christina kept it cutesy.

Christopher "Kid" Reid brought his box of McBites on the carpet.  Isn't there a new bench warrant out for his arrest?  Is being on a red carpet for some chicken really the best idea right now homie?

Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandy "Pepa" Denton hit the carpet in their usual looks.  Pep does not leave the house without her fishnets and over-the-knee boots I see.

Red Tails and "90210" star Tristan Wilds made a cute appearance as well.

With her LA mansion on the market and a planned move to Australia reportedly on the horizon, Mel B debuted a new haircut yesterday.  While shopping it up at Chanel, the mother of 3 rocked a blue jumpsuit with a peek-a-boo lace bra and a woven tan bag.  Looks like she wanted to go from uber long flowing tresses to shoulder-length and choppy.

NEW GIGS! Rihanna Doesn't Give A Damn About THUG LIFE Critics, PRODUCING A "Fashionable" Reality Show + David Otunga WRESTLES His Way Into Court

Posted: 27 Jan 2012 06:53 AM PST

Rihanna, who was spotted chillin' courtside at the Clippers game last night in L.A., just signed on as executive producer of a new fashion competition show set in the UK.  Inside, get deets about the show and find out what she said about people hating on her new "Thug Life" tattoo.  Plus Jennifer Hudson's fiance David Otunga finally using his law degree...

Rihanna is set to executive produce an as-yet-untitled fashion competition show that will air on the Sky Living channel in Britain. The show will be hosted by Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and will include appearances by Rihanna.

On Sky Living's website, Rihanna said,

"I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today. I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage. I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."

Sources say the show will mimic "Project Runway" with designers creating a unique stage outfit for Rihanna's performance at the Wireless festival in Hyde Park, England, in July.

And about that tattoo......

When folks got on Twitter blasting Rih for getting a "Thug Life" tattoo on her knuckles, she blasted back and let them know she will do as she damn well pleases.

She tweeted,

'Err'body has an opinion, but yall know what yall can do with them!!! #THUGLIFE.'  I'm thinking I shoulda got a tear drop instead!!! #THUGLIFE maybe next time. All eyes on Rih, betta picture me rollin' #THUGLIFE," "I can't deny it, ima riot..u don't wanna fuck with me! #THUGLIFE haaaaaaa. RIHpac back!!!"

Goodness....

More pics of Rih courtside last night:

And in a NY courtroom.......

David Otunga (the Harvard-law educated baby daddy of Jennifer Hudson) made a triumphant return to the courtroom recently.  Could you imagine this dude as your lawyer after you just saw all his ish in some speedos?

Taking time out from his successful WWE gig, Harvard Law grad David was in court yesterday representing a man in a wrongful termination suit at the NY State Department of Labor. And David clearly body slammed the competition as he won the case and got his client his unemployment benefits.

David tweeted,

"Just made my return to the courtroom. Smoked a witness on cross-exam, sustained objections to other lawyer, and won the case for my client."

And showing off his cocky side, he added,

"If the outcome of the case is any indication of how I'll do in the Royal Rumble this weekend, then it looks like I'll be the winner."

SIDEBAR: He took the case pro bono.

VIDEO: D'Angelo RETURNS To The Stage In Stockholm, Kicks Off European Tour!

Posted: 27 Jan 2012 06:17 AM PST

Oh...there you are Mr. D'Angelo. It's been over 11 years and 2 U.S. Presidents since we've seen D'Angelo perform live....or barely anywhere in public for that matter. But he kicked off his European D-Tour last night in Stockholm, Sweden. Video inside...

In his first live performance since the 2000 Voodoo Tour, D'Angelo played to Sweden's capital last night...rocking long braids and swole arms (remember when his fitness instructor said they've been in the gym constantly?).

He was joined by his drummer Chris Dave and frequent collaborator Pino Palladino for last night's show--which he seemed ecstatic to be performing.  And his next stops are Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Oslo, Zurich, and Hamburg.  And Questlove says D's upcoming album we've been waiting forever for, James River, is "97% done."

WHAT'S BEEF: Jennifer Williams SAYS Evelyn Lozada Is JEALOUS Of Her Friends, Evelyn Says "U Will Never Be A White Girl!"

Posted: 26 Jan 2012 03:05 PM PST

The -ish just got real between Evelyn and Jennifer and "BBW" hasn't even started up yet!  Jen recently revealed the "very" petty reasons she and her former friend don't talk anymore and Evelyn LASHED out calling her insecure and saying she wants to be a white girl!  Deets inside.....

We revealed to you earlier that Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams will indeed have a big falling out on camera this season on "BBW" and now little details about the basis of the beef as leaking out. And it's VERY childish.

So why are they beefing?  Jennifer told S2S that Evelyn is upset because she's friends with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes and Mashonda.

"Let me tell you what she’s mad over ‘cause this always comes up. She hates the fact that I’m really good friends with Nene [Leakes] and she hates the fact that me and Mashonda are good friends. I feel like it’s all coming from a place of hurt, and she’s turning it into anger. Why do you care who I’m friends with? Like, that’s ridiculous," Jen explains. "I live in New York. You live in Miami. I don’t care who you hang out with. I’m kinda over it because I just feel like I’m at a point at my life where I’m trying to get rid of negative energy. To me, I feel like it’s something so minuscule. It’s not like I slept with Chad. It’s not something irreparable. It’s something stupid that you’re mad over. If you really are mad because I have other friends, I think that’s completely ridiculous.”

Evelyn was NOT HAPPY when she heard about this. She took to Twitter and unleashed a vicious rant (it was so bad that Chad had to jump in!).

Boom!  The comment about the purple contacts had to hurt!

THE SECRET IS OUT! Jordin Sparks And Jason Derulo Are An Item!

Posted: 26 Jan 2012 01:02 PM PST

We suspected that Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo might be making music together and it turns out.....we were right! Find out what event helped the couple make it official inside.....

Jason Derulo has announced that he is dating singer Jordin Sparks.....and it was his tragic accident a few weeks ago that spurred on the admission.

Jason fractured his neck during a dance routine and was nearly paralyzed recently, and now during his healing phase, he's decided to talk about his love life.

"We are together. She lives in Phoenix and she comes [to Miami] and takes care of me, brings me breakfast in bed and she'll go on walks with me. We've gotten closer because of my accident. It's awesome to have someone you can talk to and she's a wonderful person."

And speaking of recovery, he says,

"I'm taking it one day at a time. It's been really eye opening. It's given me a chance to look at everything and realize how blessed I truly am."

The two do make a cute pair!
