Luckiest McRib Ever Wins Man A Million Dollars

Posted: 23 Dec 2010 11:49 AM PST

Those of you lucky enough to have ever had McDonald’s in your lifetime (RIP Grandpa, who was not one of the billion served) are certainly familiar with their ubiquitous Monopoly game, those little game pieces that come attached to whatever delicious piece of quickly made food or drink you have purchased. Now, if you’re like me, you rip the piece off and then immediately lose said piece under your car seat. You are also in high school in this scenario.

If you’re like us, you never truly believed that someone was actually going to buy a burger, rip that minuscule paper tab off the wrapper, clear their throat, put a monocle over their eye, and become a millionaire.

But get this: Someone actually WON the McDonald’s Monopoly Million. An unemployed guy in Milwaukee who loves money and McRibs. ie MY IDEAL MAN.

Tron Guy Not Allowed To See Tron In Tron Costume

Posted: 23 Dec 2010 10:01 AM PST

A harrowing account from TMZ:

Jay Maynard — who’s been doing the Tron Guy thing since ’04 — tells TMZ, he gave his local movie theater a heads-up that he planned to see the new “Tron” flick in his famous costume … but for some reason, they “adamantly” insisted he wouldn’t be admitted if he suited up.

We don’t know why management refused… but Maynard believes it’s because his masterpiece is “too distracting.”

Whattt??? But he’s the Tron guy, and it’s Tron! Would a movie theater not admit Tay Zonday to the Chocolate Rain movie, Chocolat Rain? No, they wouldn’t not do that, because why would that movie be happening and also his costume is him. HUH? Yes.

I guess theaters would never allow Star Wars fans to go to the movies dressed up as their favorite characters…OR MAYBE THEY ALL WOULD. So what if the dude’s costume glows, who wouldn’t want to say they saw Tron: Legacy while sitting next to the actual Tron guy? Guess he’ll just have to wait for the reboot reboot.
