Spanish-Language Show Is #1 In The Ratings Posted: 25 Dec 2010 08:40 AM PST Yay! Latinos are taking over! This is so cool! Univision's Soy Tu Dueña was the number one show this past week, bringing in 5.8 million viewers in the key demographic, 18-49. The show beat out other top hit shows like CBS' NCIS: L.A., ABC's No Ordinary Family, and an NBC SNL special. And this isn't the first time Soy Tu Deuña brought in the big ratings! Back in June, the show topped the key demo for the first time and has hit the spot many times since then. Univision Networks president Cesar Conde says: "Univision is committed to becoming the No. 1 television network in the United States among Adults 18-49, regardless of language, within the next five years and our ability to deliver top quality programming like Soy Tu Dueña allows us to further advance on this goal." Felicidades! What can we say?? We love our telenovelas!

Anna Nicole Smith Hit The Bahamas Like A Hurricane! Posted: 25 Dec 2010 08:00 AM PST Who knew that one woman could do so much damage?? According to newly-leaked U.S. government reports that have been released by WikiLeaks, Anna Nicole Smith wreaked so much havoc in the Bahamas, she may have brought down a string of government officials, causing the government to topple. In one of the documents written in 2006, Deputy Chief of Mission D. Brent Hardt wrote, "Not since Category 4 Hurricane Betsy made landfall in 1965 has one woman done as much damage in Nassau." The cables show that Smith applied for legal residency in the Bahamas in 2006, a process which can take several years, but was granted residency just one month later. Minister of Immigration, Shane Gibson was accused of giving her special treatment as well as receiving lavish gifts from Smith, such as a $10,000 check and a $25,000 watch. When pictures of him embracing Smith in her bed were published, he resigned in February 2007. Several local hospital and coroner's office workers were fired when they were accused of mishandling the death of Smith's son, Daniel, with some alleging that there was a cover-up involved. Deputy Chief Hardt added: "Lying in disarray in her wake are Doctor's Hospital, the Coroner's Court, the Department of Immigration, local mega-lawyers Callenders and Co., formerly popular Minister of Immigration Shane Gibson, and possibly Prime Minister Christie's PLP government." Dustin Hoffman Prefers Arranged Marriages Posted: 25 Dec 2010 07:20 AM PST Huh. Okay, kind of a strange thing for a guy who's been married twice. While promoting his new film Little Fockers, Dustin Hoffman vented his frustration on marriage, saying he prefers them to be arranged and called family, "unnatural." The actor said: "There is nothing more unnatural than family or marriage. That's why they're both so difficult. You just wake up and suddenly clunk, you're ready. 'Okay, I guess that's it.' Arranged marriages I think make a lot of sense because you're not under the pressure of being in love. It's an easy contract. You don't have to like each other and then whatever happens, happens."
