Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt brought out the twins! By the way, did you know The Tourist opens on Friday? Yeah, it's a little obvious. But I love when the twins come out, so I'm not complaining. The family Jolie-Pitt are back stateside, and last night they took the twins out to an art supply store in New York City. Angelina held the chubby-cheeked (squishy!) Vivienne, and Brad is holding Knox, I believe. I also believe is was Knox who got to go out in the snow with Angelina last week. Or hey, maybe it's still Fax Cannes. God knows. Viv is a shy little thing, and this is one of the better shots of her:

Meanwhile, Knox seems less reticent - he also looks a lot like Shiloh, I think.

Jessica Simpson took her vegan fiancé to a steakhouse

These are photos of Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson out and about in LA on Friday. The agency says they are leaving the club Trousdale. You can tell, because Jessica looks toasty - and we know how she loves to get drunk. However, The Daily Mail reports that before they even went clubbing, Jessica at least had a big meal. Jessica took her VEGAN fiancé to BOA Steakhouse. Um, I guess they have salads there?

Jessica Simpson’s fiancé Eric Johnson took a firm grip on his lady as they took a stroll out for dinner last night in West Hollywood. The newly engaged couple laughed and smiled and seemed delighted to be together after enjoying a meal at BOA Steakhouse.

The restaurant was quite clearly Jessica’s choice, given her partner of seven months is a staunch vegan.

The 30-year-old singer looked casually chic in a monochrome outfit for her date night with her man. She wore a black and white chequered mini-skirt and paired it with a black blazer. Her black Louis Vuitton bag accessorised her outfit perfectly.

Promoting her new album Happy Christmas she said: ‘We have not started planning. I’m trying to get through all this promotion. Who knows what will happen? I personally have no idea. I have not set a date and I can’t even think about putting together like table settings and all that. We’re just going to enjoy the engagement and we’ll get married the moment we feel like it.’

However, the star revealed she hoped the marriage to the 31-year-old American footballer would take place within the next year.

‘By next Christmas, hopefully,’ she said. ‘We don’t have any plans but I’m pretty sure by next Christmas we’ll be married.’

Yeah, I think they'll be married on or by New Year's, so what do I know? I don't think this "whirlwind" romance is going to have an extended engagement. As far as the whole vegan thing, jointly with the steakhouse thing… I honestly don't think Jessica understands what "vegan" is. Eric probably told her that he couldn't eat turkey because he's vegan and Jessica is like "Oh, but he can eat steak, right?"

Nicole Kidman’s Botoxy bitchface is one of the best in the business

These are photos from Friday's photo call/press conference for Rabbit Hole, that grief porn film starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart. Hilariously enough, photographers basically just took closeups of Nicole's face throughout the entire thing, so there are only photos of The BotoxFace in various degrees of "emoting". I think Nicole knew that photographers were only zooming in on The Immovable Forehead, because she looks seriously pissed in many of these photos. I love it - Nicole has one of the best bitchy skunk-faces in the business, probably because she doesn't use it all too often.

In other Kidman news, while doing press for the film, she ended up talking about little Sunday Rose and how she's the next Nashville star:

Continues Kidman, “She has a repertoire of about 30 songs: ‘The ABCs’, ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Traffic Light’ — have you heard that one? And ‘So long, Farewell,’ she was singing that as I left the house.”

According to Kidman, her tot’s talents aren’t limited to just her voice. When her dad gave a quick at-home performance before they left for the premiere, “Sunday Rose was dancing around the living room,” the Oscar winner, 43, told Us.

Adds Urban, 43, of his little girl’s skills, “I’m your typical proud dad.”

And if Sunday decides to forgo showbiz, she could have a future as a stylist.

“She loves makeup,” Kidman told Us, adding that she often helps her prep for premieres. “She’s not allowed to wear it out of the house, obviously, but she pops on a little blush and some lip gloss!”

Sunday Rose is what… two years younger than Suri Cruise? Something like that. And little Suri is already styling her poor mother, plus wearing heels and makeup and diamonds and running Xenu's empire, I guess. And all Sunday has is some lip gloss. Sad! But I bet Sunday does have a good voice - both of her parents are musically talented, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Did Gerard Butler get something “done” to make himself look younger?

These are new photos of Gerard Butler in Miami over the weekend, attending the Art Basel convention. Plus, he was probably in town to troll for strange, just FYI Miami Celebitches - hang out near the convention center, and chances are pretty good that if you have long dark hair and nice boobs, you'll get Butlered. You'll probably get Butlered in the bathroom, I would guess. And chances are, it might be okay. Because Gerard is looking really good in these photos… like, surprisingly good. Like, I don't have make any apologies for his moobs or his drool or his HerpeEye in these photos. He looks strangely… young. So, here's the question: did Gerard get something nipped and tucked? Or did he just lose some weight, and maybe he's been taking better care of himself?

I honestly can't tell. It could just be that he's got some color and he's lost weight and this hair is really working for him. Or it could be that he's had a little upkeep. Even though I'm totally obsessed and I cyber-stalk him (he flew in to Miami from LA on Friday, by the way!), much of Gerard's private life is a mystery to me. Is he the kind of man who is so vain he would go in to get something "done"?

Brooke Mueller checks into a sober house, despite just claiming to be clean

I don't mean to be snotty about this (despite the fact that I am still quite full of literal snot with this cold that will not die), but I TOLD YOU SO. Brooke Mueller claimed last week (or the week before) that she was "sober" and "healthy". This was despite looking like she was back on the pipe - and then some - for months, plus hanging out with Paris Hilton constantly (for a new reality show they're filming). And now Us Weekly reports that Brooke has checked into a "sober living facility" in LA. Brooke has already done the rehab in-and-out thing most of the year - for God knows how many addictions. Crack, alcohol, coke, anything goes. Those poor babies.

Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s soon-to-be ex-wife, checked into a sober living facility in L.A. on Friday, a source confirmed to UsMagazine.com.

Mueller, 32, who has done stints in rehab for various addictions, “checked in just for a couple weeks to keep her sobriety,” the source explains. The mother to Sheen’s twin sons Bob and Max, 20 months, was “starting to feeling tempted,” the insider told Us.

Her friend Kathy Hilton — who is shooting an Oxygen reality show with Mueller and her daughter Paris Hilton — tells Us, “Brooke is fine and taking preventative measures.” Hilton added that the development “won’t affect the show,” and that she is “very proud” of her pal.

Last Saturday, Mueller shot down a false report that she had checked into rehab over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend after a wild night of partying. “The story is ridiculous,” she told Us. “I am happy and healthy.”

She and Sheen, 45, wed in May 2008, and famously got into a violent fight last Christmas in which the Two and a Half Men actor reportedly threatened her with a knife. They both filed for divorce Nov. 1.

Wait… she went into a sober house because she was feeling "tempted"? Yeah, right. She's been blitzed out of her skull at events for months - just look at these photos. Oddly enough, I used these exact photos for the post on Brooke claiming to be "sober". Here's why I'm not really sympathetic towards Brooke: first of all, she's still lying. She's lying to us, and to herself, if she thinks we're buying the whole "she checked herself into a sober house because she was tempted" thing. Secondly, I'm not sympathetic to any former or current user (who happens to be a mother of two small sons) who willfully hangs out with a parasitic user and abuser like Paris Hilton. Thirdly, I don't have sympathy for Brooke because it's pretty clear she doesn't take her sobriety seriously, so why should I? She never checks into a rehab facility that will actually make her stop using, she just checks into places that are like spas, where she can check herself out as soon as she needs a fix. Ugh.

Cute new couple: Carter Oosterhouse & Amy Smart?

Even C-list stars fall in love. Hey, they can’t all be Brangelina.

So meet Smoosterhouse: movie actress Amy Smart of Road Trip and HGTV’s hot carpenter Carter Oosterhouse.

According to National Enquirer, the two first set off sparks this past summer.

The petite blonde and the handsome handyman met over the summer at a charity event and just months later were so close they introduced each other to their parents!

“Neither was looking for a relationship when they met. They both had just gone through breakups,” said a source. “But they hit it off and had so much in common that they couldn’t stay away from each other. It all happened so fast.”

In Mid-November, the couple was spotted in Las Vegas, taking in the Cirque du Soleil show, KA, at the MGM Grand. Later, they posed for photos with the cast of the striptease-inspired production Peepshow at Planet Hollywood.

…”Carter and Amy’s passion of helping people, animals and the environment is truly what brought them together,” added the source. “They are two of the most loving and giving people you could ever meet. I definitely see them having a solid, happy future together.”

The phrasing from Enquirer’s “source” makes it sound like it’s from a publicist. Amy does have a film that just opened.

Both Amy and Carter are 34 and heavily involved with charities. Carter has his own charity called Carter’s Kids.

Amy ended her 15-year relationship with actor/realtor Branden Williams over the summer.

Carter is known for Trading Spaces and the ads for Nautica’s Voyage cologne. Amy Smart starred opposite Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect and James Van Der Beek in Varsity Blues.

Amy’s latest movie is called Dead Awake.

I really liked it because I felt like Omar Naim put his style all over it and he keeps you guessing until the very end about what’s happening and what’s really going on. It’s just a really interesting story about this guy who is trying to figure out his traumatic past and it’s unraveling in ways that he can’t tell what’s real and what’s not. It’s almost like he’s hallucinating through half the movie, but he’s not quite sure what’s true. It’s got a lot of different cool elements and Rose McGowan is great in it and Nick Stahl is amazing in it.
