While driving on Regent Street in London on Thursday, protesters attacked and kicked the car containing Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla. The car drove off and there were no injuries. Protesters are angry after lawmakers approved tripling university fees, raising the cap to $14,000. We don't blame the students for being angry, but violence is never the answer. Tough Times Continue For Mel, His Church Gets Shut Down Posted: 09 Dec 2010 12:50 PM PST Unless The Beaver becomes a huge success and relaunches Mel's career, it looks like life will continue to be tough for Gibson. To add to his plethora of pre-existing problems, Mel's church has stopped all congregational services, due to the fact that a photo of Mel's daughter was taken on church grounds and sent to TMZ. Here's what a source had to say about Mel's reaction to the whole situation: "[Mel was] extremely concerned about the invasion of privacy." And more from the source: "He is not just concerned that photos of his daughter were taken at the church, he is concerned for the privacy of his parishioners." Here's what an email from Church Heads said about the suspension of services: "There will be no Masses here at Holy Family Chapel until further notice." The X Factor Facing Fines For Promoting Guest Acts' Music! Posted: 09 Dec 2010 12:40 PM PST Is this seriously an issue? We don't understand what the big deal is! The X Factor could be in some trouble because they recently encouraged viewers to download songs by guest-performers Diana Vickers and Michael Buble! During their October performances, presenter Dermot O'Leary told viewers on air that if they wanted to buy either acts' singles, they could go to the X Factor website for more details. This apparently breaks broadcasting rules involving promotion of commercial products, and the series could now be facing a fine! A spokesperson for TV watchdog Ofcom explains: "We are investigating The X Factor for potential breaches of our rules prohibiting the promotion of products in programmes." A producer of the show Talkback Thames responded with: "We are aware of the Ofcom investigation. It relates to two on-air references on The X Factor regarding downloads of a guest artist on the show which were not available on the website. These references were as a result of a script error." This is seriously so silly! What's wrong with helping your guest performers and letting viewers know that their music is available? Nobody's being forced to purchase it! Zefron would play a young death-obsessed society man who has a thing for getting into fights and the daughter of his father's nemesis. Not only is Zac involved to star, but he'll also be one of the executive producers through his Ninjas Runnin' Wild company. Aw! Posted: 09 Dec 2010 12:10 PM PST Glee's head Cheerio Dianna Agron has reportedly cleaned house by firing both her manager and agent after the trio disagreed over the direction of her career. According to sources, Dianna "parted ways with them around a month ago" as their advice on how to proceed with her career differed from her own. The source explains that she's been in the business since she was a kid and has a "strong grasp" on what she wants to do next. Hopefully that includes staying on Glee for the next two years! True, Quinn hasn't had much of storyline this season, but we live for those bitchy one liners at the expense of Rachel Berry! In case you're curious, she's moved from the Gersh Agency to WME. Eclipse Sold Three Million DVDs In Two Days! Posted: 09 Dec 2010 11:40 AM PST Seems like a lot of ladies (and gentlemen) are getting R-Patz for Christmas. Although it only arrived in stores on Friday at midnight, Twihards purchased 3 million DVDs and Blu-ray discs of Eclipse in just two days. The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Knight and Day and Toy Story 3 followed in sales, but only sold about 30% as many units as Eclipse. Pretty impressive.
