Billy Ray Addresses Miley Bong Controversy! Posted: 10 Dec 2010 01:07 PM PST Wow. We imagine this couldn't have been easy for him to see. Although Miley Cyrus has remained tight-lipped since the video (above) of the Hannah Montana star smoking a bong filled with what is allegedly salvia leaked onto the internet, her father, Billy Ray, took to Twitter this afternoon to address the controversy, and it sounds as though he's just as shocked as everyone else! He wrote: Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. Im so sad. There is much beyond my control right now. We know that there's a lot going in his personal life right now, but hopefully this will help both he and Tish realize that even though Miley's a celebrity, she's still a teenager, and her behavior - and the people she is surrounding herself with - clearly needs to be monitored a lot more closely! We're thinking of you guys right now. Hang in there. Thoughts??

Finally! Elizabeth Smart's Kidnapper Found Guilty! Posted: 10 Dec 2010 12:50 PM PST Look at that - there's still some justice in this world. It's the conviction thats been eight years in the making. A jury in Utah found Brian David Mitchell guilty this morning of kidnapping and continually raping Elizabeth Smart when she was 14 years old. After an almost five hour deliberation, the jury cast down the guilty verdict, which was met with by smiles from Elizabeth and her family in the courtroom. Brian faces a lifetime in prison, which is lenient sentencing if you ask us, but it will do. A justifiable end to a tragic circumstances. Perhaps now, Elizabeth can put start anew. We wish her the best with that.

After years being stuck in the depths of development hell, it looks like the Barbarella remake may finally be gaining some legit steam! It's still in the rumor stage, but the word going around is that Anne Hathaway is now attached to the film's title role, following in the steps of Jane Fonda. This would def be something different for Hathaway! Certainly a far cry from Love and Other Drugs or Rachel Getting Married. What do U think? Would U like to see Anne Hathaway as Barbarella? With a list that included Justin Bieber, Betty White, LeBron James, and the cast of Jersey Shore, Barbara Walters' revealed her most fascinating person on last night's ABC special, 10 Most Fascinating People. So who stole the #1 spot?? Check it out…AFTER THE JUMP! It was GENERL DAVID PETRAEUS! Being top commander in Afghanistan, Walters dubbed him an "American hero," paying tribute to his "humanity and strength." Interesting choice. Kevin Williamson Talks The Vampire Diaries Companion Show! Posted: 10 Dec 2010 12:10 PM PST This keeps sounding better and better! The Vampire Diaries executive producer Kevin Williamson recently announced that he would be developing a 'companion' show to his smash CW series - involving a group of college-aged paranormal investigators - and he's now revealing more details about what he wants to accomplish with the series! He explains: "It's set on a college campus. There's a little bit of some paranormal investigation involved, but it's more about the characters. It's more about what [fellow executive producer] Julie [Plec] and I like to do, which is create a world of people. A young girl goes to college, and it turns out there's a lot more going on. We've got this whole world and this whole sort of mythology about this girl and the journey that she takes. It's full of scary, horrible murder and surprises, and all the twists and turns that we love to do, but once again it is a story about epic love. That's what we're about here at The Vampire Diaries. And that's sort of why you call it a 'companion piece', is because you will see those similarities in the show. You know, a bunch of fun characters that you can visit every week and watch them go through all these scary, twisty storylines, but it all leads to some greater story about epic and tragic love. It would be a companion in the sense that they would sort of exist in the same world, but it's a different show. I don't want to mess with [The Vampire Diaries]. This show's gold. This show's very special." It certainly sounds like it! Like all the fun of those ridiculous paranormal research reality shows, but with actual story and creative license! And romance! Family Matters Actor Accused Of Beating His Wife- In Front Of His Son! Posted: 10 Dec 2010 12:00 PM PST It's bad enough to be so violent, but to do it in front of an impressionable 12-year-old jus takes things to a whole new level! Darius McCrary, best known for playing Eddie Winslow on Family Matters, has been temporarily ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his ex-wife after allegedly ruthlessly attacking her not once, but twice in the past year. Back in February, Karrine Steffans accused Darius of choking her "from behind" and beating her with a belt during a heated argument. Making things worse, Karrine also claims that her 12-year-old son was witness to the attack! Horrible! But it gets worse! Karrine claims Darius attacked her again in November while at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in L.A. Allegedly, Darius shoved her into a car and began to choke her again in front of a large crowd of people. Because of these incidents, Karrine had been given the temporary restraining order, but she has scheduled another court appearance to ask for it to become permanent. Yeah, we think its best that the two of them stay far away from each other. As we recall, she isn't so innocent herself. Jersey Shore's Angelina In Negotiations To Star In Porno Posted: 10 Dec 2010 11:40 AM PST Classy move. Angelina Pivarnick has been offered $50,000 up front if she agrees to star in a Jersey Shore-themed porno film. The reality star is currently in negotiations with Vivid and sources say she'll not only get money up front, but she'll also receive a cut of the tape's profits. For 25% of the royalities, the contract reads: (i) a minimum of two (2) hours of footage depicting Artist engaged in sexual positions… and (ii) one (1) hour of personalized sexy wrap-around footage depicting Artist." Ewwww. Meanwhile, Snooki's ex Jeff Miranda is said to also be interested in co-starring in the movie with her. Wow, what a stand-up guy. From the Shore to porn.
