Xtina Shows Her Divatude To X Factor Contestant Rebecca Ferguson

Get over yourself, Xtina!

Christina Aguilera reportedly acted like a total diva on the set of Saturday night's X Factor finale when she refused to speak to contestant Rebecca Ferguson, who was her duet partner on stage.

An eyewitness who saw Christina's behavior during rehearsals, said, "Christina was being a diva. She folded her arms on stage, didn't talk to Rebecca and then walked straight off afterwards."

The source added that she didn't even bother to acknowledge Rebecca and after the rehearsal, Xtina stomped off to her dressing room where she demanded her own hairdresser, make-up artist, and nail technician. And not only that, but each one was told to wait outside until they were called in one at a time!

Ewwww!! With low album AND movie ticket sales (ahem, Burlesque), should you really be acting like your shiz don't stink, Xtina?? Because, guess what, it does!!

Host Of UK X Factor Threatens To Quit, Simon Hints At Leaving Too!

The host of The UK's X Factor, Dermot O'Leary, is quitting the show, hoping he can land the same gig on the US version of the show.

After hosting the show for four years, O'Leary thinks this is his big chance to make it in America and has told his friends that if he's not given the hosting gig in the US, he will interpret that as a sign that his time on the series is done, and will look at other opportunities.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell hinted on the show's finale that he also plans on leaving the show to concentrate on the US version.

When asked about the future of X Factor in 2011, Simon responded:

"Something's going to happen in the next three or four months that's going to alter my decision next year.

I have actually enjoyed doing this series more than any other because it's been controversial, and that stops it being boring. As soon as you get bored, the audience get bored and there's no show. Simple as that."

An insider confirmed his departure, saying, "Simon is not coming back next year. Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh will return, so the viewers will have a sense of continuity, but Simon's not going to be on the show."

We're happy to have Simon back in the US, but if we were the host of UK's X Factor, we would NOT quit our cushy job! It's silly for him leave the show! Especially since it seems likely that the American version will most likely want to have an American host with a household name.

Thoughts??

Golden Globes DRA-MA!!

golden-globes-drama.jpg

With just a couple days away until the Golden Globe nominations are announced, major drama seems to be happening behind the scenes of the famous awards show.

PR chief Michael Russell has accused the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) of "unsavorty business practices."

Without giving actual details, Russell wrote a letter to the organization's president Philip Berk claiming that he was fired and took issue with the HFPA's "questionable business practices."

He also stated that if these concerns weren't address by 2011's telecast, they would conflict with the "legitimacy and integrity" of the organization.

In a letter Russell wrote to Berk earlier this year (just before his firing), Russell demanded an apology and added:

"Of all people, you know how hard we had to work especially since there was frequent drama as you clashed needlessly and repeatedly with HFPA members, (Globes producer Dick Clark Productions), NBC, Chrysler, and members of the media.

This is the fifth year I have handled PR for the HFPA and Golden Globes with you as president, and this year was by far the worst as your conduct climbed to a new outrageous level."

Also in the letter, Russell alleged that Berk went back on a promise to give him 15% commission after the Michael Russell Group brokered a $100,000 Globes sponsorship deal with Glaceau Smart Water.

Wowsa.

So much dramz! Let's hope the Hollywood Foreign Press Association can get their shiz together before next month's Golden Globes telecast!
