New York Weather Girl Lied About Being Raped!

Posted: 15 Dec 2010 12:50 PM PST

heidijones-false-rape-story.jpg

This is just deplorable! It's women like this that make it harder for others who are ACTUALLY attacked to get any real justice.

Heidi Jones, a weather anchor for WABC/Channel 7 New York, has been charged with filing a false report after telling the cops a man tried to rape her while jogging in Central Park.

Heidi, who can sometimes be seen filling in on Good Morning America, reportedly told the police that she was attacked over two months ago while out for a run. She claimed a Hispanic man grabbed her from behind and was about to rape her when two passersby came to her aid. She insisted that she saw the man again more recently, and that he threatened her, which is why she finally came forward.

But after some investigation and more questioning, Heidi confessed she made the whole story up.

Why? Because she wanted some sympathy to counter some of the grief she was feeling in her personal life. In other words, she wanted attention.

Well, that's she's got, but not the good kind. This afternoon, the local station will announce her indefinite suspension from her position, rumored to be the first step in firing her. If she is convicted of her Class A misdemeanor charge, she faces a year in jail or $1,000 fine.

We just hope she's learned something for all this. She better feel some serious guilt over playing such a malicious and awful game. There are women all across the world, struggling to deal with the torment of such an ordeal and as far as we can tell, she made light of their suffering.

Awful, simple awful .

ABC must really like Marc Cherry!

The Desperate Housewives executive producer is developing a drama titled Hallelujah, which will center around Hallelujah, Tennessee, a small town that is being torn apart by the forces of good and evil.

When a stranger moves into town, the residents begin to have faith.

The drama is a product of Cherry's two-year deal extension with ABC and while working on the new show, his co-executive producer, Bob Daily will take over the reigns of Wisteria Lane.

This show sounds like it could be a keeper. Thoughts?

Kate Gosselin Lied About Why Her Kids Home Schooled! They Hurt An Adult!

WTF?!

When Kate Gosselin announced that her kids Alexis and Collin being tutored at home, she failed to mention the reason for the situation - they were expelled!

One of the kids physically harmed an adult at the school twice, which forced administrators to remove the child from school. Information about the injuries is unknown, but both kids were also abusive toward other students.

And this has put another rift between her and ex Jon!

A source claims:

"Both Jon and Kate were sent a letter from the head of school explaining that despite their best efforts, staff had reached a point at which they had to request the children enroll in another program. It's clear Kate did not tell the truth."

Both Alexis and Colin received three full weeks of intensive special treatment to focus their behavior. While the teacher was able to achieve some success, it became apparent to the school that the pair needed intensive assistance to help them with their social, emotional and academic needs.

The demand on the children's classroom teachers — and the impact on other kids — was just too great.

Alexis and Collin could go to a public school but they would be photographed and harassed, It's clear the kids need to be integrated back into their private school, if they want to keep them at the same place.Or they can be sent to the school with the Gosselin's other kids. They can't just be tutored, at home: these kids need to be integrated with other children.

Jon and his girlfriend Ellen take them to public parks to play with other kids and they tell them to go and make friends, because it's clear they need to develop their social skills.

Collin actually covered his face when he was having his school photograph taken because he thought he shouldn't be photographed. Here you have children living in rural Pennsylvania and they don't understand why people are taking pictures.

Kate needs to get on the same page as Jon: he doesn't want them to have those pressures during their childhood, because they both need to live with the decision that they decided to do the show in the first instance."

Ugh. Those poor kids!

The Black Eyed Peas Sued AGAIN Over Copyright Issues!

Posted: 15 Dec 2010 12:10 PM PST

Wow! We've lost count how many times this has happened now!

George Clinton, a legend in funk music, is suing The Black Eyed Peas for allegedly sampling one of his songs on their track, Shut Up.

The song was first featured on their 2003 album, Elephunk, but has spawn several remixes since then, including one that appeared on the deluxe edition of The E.N.D. album. According to Clinton's lawsuit, the group used elements of George's song (Not Just) Knee Deep on this remix.

As he insists that he never granted the group permission to use the song, he's suing will.i.am and Fergie, along with Universal Music Group for copyright infringement damages and an injunction to block further sales of the remixes.

We hate to break it to them, but George does have a point. The remix does sound a lot like his funky hit.

Take a listen to George's song and The Peas remix (above) and tell us what U think? Does George have a case?

Completely Gratuitous

jeopardy winning kid gets lead role in movie

Congratulations, kid!

Jeopardy wiz kid Thomas Horn has been cast as the lead in director Stephen Daldry's Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, based on Jonathan Safran Foer's novel.

Horn will star alongside Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock, who will play the kid's parents.

As we reported back in August, the story revolves around an intellectual, nine-year old tambourine playing kid who searches for a lock to match a mysterious key that his father left behind after his death in the World Trade Center on September 11.

Should be inneresting to see how the kid does. If he's half as good at acting as he is at Jeopardy, we should be in for a great performance!

X Factor's Rebecca Talks Xtina

After rumors swirled that Christina Aguilera reportedly acted like a diva on the set of X Factor, contestant Rebecca Ferguson talks about rehearsing their duet for the show's finale.

She says:

"She's an amazing artist. I was so starstruck. I still can't believe I got to sing with her. We rehearsed it through and I was worried I would sing her lyrics so she said we would work it out on stage. She told me to keep eye contact with her.

I thought she was really sweet. I liked her. Don't get me wrong she was a professional but at the same time she didn't have to record a good luck message for me."

Is "professional" code for "prima donna?" Hmm, we can only wonder…
