‘Saturday Night Live’ Releases Robert de Niro Promo Videos

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 02:22 PM PST

Robert de Niro will host Saturday Night Live this weekend and to promote the show, NBC released new promo videos of de Niro cracking wise with SNL castmember Kristen Wiig:

The clips are cute but I can’t take seriously that P. Diddy has, once again, changed his name … this time to Diddy Dirty Money? LMAO!! What a joke. Check out the video promos in full after the jump and try not to pay attention to Diddy‘s dumb new name …

Robert de Niro is awesome … and very funny … let’s just hope the SNL writers give him the kind of material that will make his episode tomorrow night RULE instead of suck hardcore.

Robbie Williams Bares His Bum On Danish TV

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 02:12 PM PST

Robbie Williams, who has reunited with Take That — the boyband that made his famous in the early 90′s, cheekily bared his ass on Danish TV this week. To be honest, it doesn’t take much to get Robbie to bare his bum but at least now he’s doing it in the service of Take That promotion once again:

He’s bared his soul in records, documentaries and biographies and even stripped for one of his videos – and it seems Robbie Williams just can’t help over-sharing. The cheeky Take That singer bared his bottom live on Danish television last night as bandmate Mark Owen looked on and cracked up. The butt of many jokes over the years, Take That have now however been crowned king man band with the rejoining of William – but this kind of barefaced behaviour could be seen by some as below the belt. Robbie, 36, – and some would argue old enough to know better – showed off his hairy bum as the band played Tivoili amusement park in Copenhagen. Their performance of current single The Flood was being filmed by show ‘TV2 Good Evening Denmark’.

Meh. This ain’t nothin’ new. But, it may have been some time since any of us last saw Robbie‘s bare bum so it might be worth checking it out to see how it’s been holding up. Check out the semi-NSFW image of Robbie William‘s bare bum, after the jump …

Not bad … but why does it look … dirty. HMMMM. Meh, I like Robbie … dirty bum and all.

Brahim Zaibat Gives An Interview About His Relationship With Madonna

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 02:02 PM PST

Brahim Zibat, the French dancer who we learned back in October has become Madonna‘s newest toy boy, is speaking publicly for the first time about his relationship with her Madgesty. In a new interview with the French mag Grazia, Zaibat explains how he and Madonna met and tries to convey what she is really like in person … read on:

Madonna’s new boyfriend has spoken for the first time about his love for the pop queen – describing her as ‘just a woman like all the others’. In a highly revealing interview, 24-year-old Brahim Zaibat said the passionate affair had made him suspicious of old friends, and caused him to change his mobile number. But, despite the masses of unwanted attention, the French break dancer said he believed he had a future with the 52-year-old superstar. Asked about their first meeting in New York, Brahim said: ‘It all started on September 22nd at the launch of Madonna’s new ready-to-wear clothing range. ‘My mate Norman, who danced for her and who became her personal trainer, asked me to dance at the evening. I performed a solo to Material Girl. Then I met Madonna on the sidelines, and she just thanked me for my show. ‘It wasn’t like meeting a monster! She’s just a woman like all the others. She’s an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all. ‘You know she wasn’t the first well known female singer I’d met. I was delighted to meet her but not stressed out.’ Brahim said his first words to Madonna were ‘Hi, how are you?’, adding cheekily: ‘I’m not saying things have gone very fast since then, but things have happened in order.’ Asked if he was a fan of Madonna as a child, Brahim said: ‘It wasn’t the kind of sound I had on my I-pod but I knew her tracks. I’ve since pretty much listened to all she’s done. She’s put lots of breakdance and hip hop in her last tracks and she’s passionate about dance. Her dream as a child was to become a dancer. That’s another thing we have in common.’ Asked why the pair had gone public about their love, Brahim said: ‘It wasn’t her deliberate decision and it wasn’t mine. We were in a club and we were seen dancing together. ‘It was because it was Madonna that the affair took on massive proportions. Nothing was calculated by us. We had a nice night together without thinking that there might be paparazzi there.’

The interview excerpts continue, after the jump …

Asked what had changed in his life, Madonna said: ‘Deep down, not much really. I’ve stayed the same. It’s others who have changed. People I haven’t seen for seven years have suddenly remembered that I exist. It’s become unmanageable. So I’ve changed my mobile number. Apart from that, what’s being said about me in France is driving me mad. It doesn’t interest me at all. Journalists can say what they want. What’s not acceptable, though, is for them to touch my family’ … ‘Now I want to speak for myself, I hope so that people can discover a little bit about who I really am.’

Well now … he has a lot to say, don’t he? I can’t imagine that Madonna can be all too happy about this interview considering how private she likes to be about her personal life … but he must’ve gotten the OK, right? To be honest, this guy is a snooze. At least Jesus Luz was a bit more interesting. I look forward to the day that Madonna starts dating a truly interesting guy … but my guess is that he hasn’t been born yet.

Aaron Eckhart Reveals That Two Face Will NOT Be In ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 01:42 PM PST

In a new interview with MTV, actor Aaron Eckhart reveals that the character he played in Batman: The Dark Knight will not be featured in the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. According to Eckhart, director Christopher Nolan broke the news himself that the villainous Harvey Two Face Dent will not make it into the next Batman film … and he is heartbroken about it:

“Chris and I had a meeting, on the beach, just the two of us,” Eckhart told MTV News on the red carpet for “Rabbit Hole” on Thursday. “I said, ‘Chris, a lot of people are asking me if I’m in the next ‘Batman.’ And Chris said, ‘Yes?’ I said, ‘Am I?’ He looked at me and he said, ‘No.’ ” Wait, a meeting on the beach? Is this a true story? “It actually is,” Eckhart replied. “It’s even weirder than I’m explaining it.” So there you have it: official confirmation that Dent won’t show his two faces on the big screen come the film’s July 2012 release. But, um, what of this strange beachside meeting? “We found ourselves alone on the beach together on a stormy day and he delivered the news to me,” Eckhart explained. “And I was heartbroken. I was heartbroken. But Chris has his reasons and my life must go on.” As Eckhart explained this summer, Nolan’s original plan was to bring back Heath Ledger’s Joker for the new film. But Ledger’s death in 2008 of course changed that plan. Nolan will be starting over, with a new villain or possibly more than one. And that’s fine with Eckhart. “Honestly, it was Heath’s movie to go on,” he told us Thursday. “We had a great movie. I’m so honored to be a part of that movie. I know Chris has got something in store that is going to blow everybody away.”

It’s unclear if Two Face is actually dead (as was alluded at the end of The Dark Knight) or if he merely didn’t make the cut for the next film but, well, at least we know where the Dark Knight Rises plot isn’t going. If the rumors are true that Tom Hardy will play Hugo Strange in the new Batman film, then he will likely be teamed up again with Scarecrow (played by Cillian Murphy … and particularly because Hugo Strange and Scarecrow have worked together a lot in the comics) who has appeared in both Nolan Batman films thus far. That being said, I loved Aaron Eckhart as Two Face … he will be missed.

‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 8’ Kills Off A Major Character

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 01:02 PM PST

I’ve got some very big and very sad Buffy the Vampire Slayer news to pass along today. This news is real Buffy news, it has nothing to do with the bullshizz plan to remake the BtVS movie without Joss Whedon … this news has to do with the ongoing comic book series that has been carrying on the storyline from the BtVS TV series over the past few years. As you may recall, we learned back in January that the Season 8 Big Bad, known by the codename Twilight, was none other than Angel himself! That plotline development really shook things up in the BtVS world and brought much entertainment to fans all year long. When last I reported on the BtVS Season 8 comic book series back in August, I mentioned that Buffy‘s ex-boyfriend Riley Finn made his comic book debut in the series. Today, I have much sadder and very spoilery news to pass along … there has been a major death in the BtVS family:

The secret’s out … and even tho I’ve yet to read up on my comics to the very sad news about I’m about to share, I’ve been keeping my eye on where the story has been going … and I NEVER anticipated this final outcome. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8 Issue #39 (which was released yesterday) features Buffy in battle-mode against … someone. In order to keep the news SPOILER free from those of you who don’t yet want to know what happens in the comic, I’ll leave all the reveals behind the cut. After the jump, see the full uncensored cover for Issue #39 and find out the terribly tragic news about which major BtVS character has been killed off. DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED …

NOW … because I have not yet received my copy of Issue #39 I do not know the outcome of this battle between Buffy and Angel. Will she finally destroy him? Will he destroy her (if not physically, emotionally)? What I do know is that in the wake of this epic battle (the likes of which we have not seen since the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) one of Buffy‘s closest and dearest friends will be killed.

When I found out who it was that has been killed, I actually felt like I was punched in the gut. I’m not even exaggerating, I still feel the actual pain of loss. Even tho I’ve not yet received my copy of Issue #39, I couldn’t help but find out which character has been killed.

I know … and now I wish I can un-know the sad news.

This is your last chance to avoid finding out who dies if you want to make the gruesome discovery from reading the comic book yourself.

But if you, like me, just know who gets killed …

It is Buffy‘s beloved watcher and father figure to all … Rupert Ripper Giles:

Fansite Whedonesque is in mourning today over the news of Giles‘s death … and rightly so. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the news. I know it may sound trite to get so worked up over the death of a fictional character … but when you have spent a lot of time getting to “know” and love a character, you will feel the pain of loss if he/she is destroyed. I still have a few comics to read leading up to Issue #39 but … man, what a sad thing to look forward to.

If anything, this highlights the absolutely unnecessary plan to reboot Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a whole new story when the ORIGINAL and vastly superior original story is STILL ONGOING! But, I’m not even gonna talk about the bullshizz Buffy reboot. Giles is dead. Not since the death of Buffy‘s mom — Joyce Summers — and Willow‘s girlfriend — Tara Maclay — has there been a death this … important.

UGH.

I’m a mess :(

Getting Back In The Game

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 12:24 PM PST

A couple of weeks ago, David and I were lucky enough to attend a preview screening of Tron: Legacy at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, CA. I haven’t been able to talk about the film … until now. If you see one 3D film this holiday season, it must be Tron: Legacy. Despite the fact that most films are going 3D just for the hype factor, Tron: Legacy actually makes amazing use of the technology:

Legacy starts out a few years after the end of the action from the original 1982 film Tron. As you might expect, a series of events force the characters to go back into The Grid (i.e. the digital video game world of Tron) where they meet other characters who are already there. I will say that the story is a bit heavy in that you get a whole lotta explanation thrown at you in a short period of time. And the one thing I didn’t like was the CGI youngification of Jeff Bridges‘s face. That said, the 3D effects are so inviting that you actually feel like you are in The Grid yourself. The action scenes are fantastic and the story from Tron has been carried over and updated nicely for this new sequel. The movie is really an experience … one that both David and I enjoyed very much. It’s deffo one of those movies that you should check out over the holidays after it gets released on the 17th.

Last night, David and I met up with Emma, Josh and Guy for an impromptu Hanukkah dinner at Greenblatt’s Delicatessen before making our way to Basix for drinks and dessert with Michael and Sam:

All in all we had a great night hanging out with friends last night. Tonight, my other BFF Josh and I will be making our way downtown to Club Nokia to see Brendan Benson live in concert. I love my Detroit homeboy so it’ll be very cool to see him play live again.

It’s the weekend, y’all! Have a great one!!

Will Britney Spears Release A New Single In January?

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 11:06 AM PST

Late yesterday, Britney Spears posted an announcement on her official Twitter profile about the release of new next album. As you may recall, we learned that our dear Britney‘s new album will be released in March of 2011. Additionally, Britney tweeted about her personal relationship with Jason Trawick for the first time. I want to share one more tweet with all y’all that Britney posted yesterday … this message is directed toward the people responsible for circulating a heinous rumor about her this week:

LOL!! I’m not even going to get into the idiotic rumors so let’s move on, shall we? Now that we know that Britney‘s album is due for release in March (a mere 3 months away), it’s time to put our focus on the release of the album’s first single. According to a new report, rumor has it that Britney‘s new single will be released the first week of January! Read all the deets as reported, after the jump …

Not finished celebrating Britmas yet? Good. While some might call this vague speculation, you should know that I wouldn't post an Excluusive unless I've been told something on very solid, reliable authority. Plus: I don't fuck around when it comes to Godney Spears. The first single from Britney's as-of-yet untitled seventh studio album will be released in the first week of January. More specifically, I'm hearing Friday, January 7. That's honestly just the beginning–but I can say no more. I'm sorry!

Who knows if this information is actually true or not but it would make sense for Britney to drop a single sooner rather than later. I’ve pretty much given up hope that we’ll hear new music in 2010 … but January does make sense. Even if the single doesn’t come out the first week of January, it will likely come out with plenty of time to burn up the airwaves and storm the music charts to generate hype for the album’s release in March. The countdown has begun … it’s only a matter of time now before we are blessed with new music for our dear Britney.

Christina Aguilera Does ‘People’ Magazine

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 10:51 AM PST

For the past couple of days we’ve been reading excerpts from Christina Aguilera‘s new interview with People magazine wherein she first talked about and confirmed her new romantic relationship with Matthew Rutler and then about the demise of her marriage. Today, we get to see a couple new photos of Xtina from her People magazine photospread:

My favorite photos of Xtina are when she’s NOT wearing tons of make-up and she is NOT wearing her trademark garish red lipstick. While she is wearing a lot of make-up in this photo, she still looks much fresher … more natural than she usually does when she cakes on the paint. After the jump, check out one more photo of the fresher-faced Xtina

She looks good in these photos. You’re gonna hafta pick up a copy of People magazine to read the whole interview. I, for one, have heard enough. I get that she is very happy to talk about how she is currently dating Matthew while she’s still divorcing Jordan. I guess we’ll just have to see how that works out for her. As for these lovely photos, what do y’all think? Do we like?

Alyson Hannigan Goes Xmas Shopping For Satyana

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 10:33 AM PST

I really hope little Satyana Hannigan-Denisof isn’t reading Pink is the new Blog today because I’m afraid her Xmas morning but get spoiled. Saty‘s mommy Alyson Hannigan was spotted in Beverly Hills, CA this week doing a bit of Xmas shopping for her little darling and as you can see, it looks like Santa Claus will be bringing Satyana a cute little tricycle on Xmas morning:

Now, I know that this little bike isn’t technically a tricycle (due to the four wheels) but for all intents and purposes, let’s just call it a trike. I imagine it is a lot of fun for Alyson to shop for her little girl on birthdays and Xmases. I can only imagine how ADORABLY cute Satyana will look on Xmas morning when she wakes up to an Xmas tree loaded with presents with her name on them. Mebbe if we’re lucky we’ll get to see photos in the future of Satyana taking her new tricycle out for a spin after Xmas!

Taylor Swift Hangs Out With Maggie Gyllenhaal

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 09:56 AM PST

It appears that Jake isn’t the only Gyllenhaal that Taylor Swift likes to hang out with … cuz US Weekly brings us a previously unseen photo of Taylor hangin’ out on Thanksgiving with Jake‘s older sister Maggie Gyllenhaal and her daughter Ramona. As you are all WELL aware, Taylor spent part of her Thanksgiving in the (IMHO, posed) arm of Jake Gyllenhaal but as this photo makes clear, she spent part of her Thanksgiving with Maggie and Ramona as well:

Maggie Gyllenhaal had an extra reason to be thankful this year: She got to spend Thanksgiving with her brother Jake and his new sudden squeeze, Taylor Swift. The new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) has the first photos of the two lovebirds taking a stroll in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood, where Maggie, 33, and her family live. Asked how the day went, Maggie told UsMagazine.com Thursday at the Focus For Change benefit in NYC: “Great.” She paused when asked what makes her brother, 29, such a great guy, prompting her husband, Peter Sarsgaard, to tell Us: “Why is Jake a wonderful guy? Because he’s an adventurer!”

At this point, I expect we’ll soon be seeing photos of Taylor hanging out with Jake‘s divorcing parents next. I mean … doesn’t this all seem a bit too much? Doesn’t all of this sudden happy togetherness seem like a publicist’s wet dream? I simply cannot shake the feeling that this just seems much too perfect, really convenient and … WEIRD! I just can’t buy it. Personal feelings aside, this Taylor/Jake thing just keeps getting odder by day. I mean … really? Maggie likes hanging out with Taylor Swift? C’mon …

First Look: ‘Michael Jackson: The Experience’ Video Game

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 08:33 AM PST

Back in June we learned that plans were in the works to release a new video game based on the music of the late Michael Jackson. In August, we got a bunch of information about the various ways the game can be played on the various video game consoles (Wii, Xbox, PS3, Nintendo DS) but didn’t know which MJ songs would be featured nor did we know the game’s name. Today, we learn the game is called Michael Jackson: The Experience and we get our first look at how the game looks:

With this game, you can either dance like MJ, with MJ or as Michael Jackson. With the Wii version, for example, you tuck the controller inside a sparkly Michael Jackson glove (which is included with the game) and as you mimic the moves on screen you score points:

I gotta say … this game looks really impressive. After the jump, check out a few more sceenshots and watch video of some gameplay of Michael Jackson: The Experience

Doesn’t this game look rad as Hell? It turned out WAY better than I thought it would. I might have to add this game to my Wii collection and throw an MJ dance party over the holidays ;) The Wii version of Michael Jackson: The Experience is already available for sale but the other versions (Xbox, PS3 etc.) won’t be released until next year. If you’ve got a Michael Jackson fan on your Xmas list, this looks like a great gift, no?

First Look: ‘Glee’, The Xmas Episode

Posted: 03 Dec 2010 07:54 AM PST

Next Tuesday, Glee will give us the season’s Xmas episode and even tho we still have 4 days to wait … today we get a sneak peek at the holiday fun to come. First up, the official Facebook page for Glee has been updated with a few promo photos from the ep … behold:

As you can see, the ep promises to be full of brightness and good cheer. My guess is that all the drama (well, not that there’s been much drama this season on Glee) will be left by the wayside and we can expect a very sweet and heartwarming episode. As you are very well aware, the Xmas ep will be chock full of Xmas music … including a duet by Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Darren Criss (Blaine) of the song Baby, It’s Cold Outside. Get your first look at their duet performance, after the jump …

To be honest, Baby, It’s Cold Outside is not one of my favorite holiday songs (mainly because I can’t stand all that singing over one another) but this does look cute. I have to admit … I’m a sucker for these cheap ploys to tug at my heartstrings around the holidays. I am very much looking forward to Tuesday’s Glee Xmas episode … are you?
