This weekend is the "big show" for VH1 Divas.  Keri Hilson and Nicki Minaj hit the stage in Mirimar, Cali to get their dress rehearsal on yesterday for their show for the troops.

Rehearsals for VH1 Divas Salute the Troops presented by the USO went down yesterday at the MCAS Miramar in Miramar, Cali.  The show tapes tomorrow, but Katy Perry, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, and Jennifer Nettles put on their military best before the official shindig.

BET's Rocsi Diaz heated up her brand new photoshoot with celebrity photographer Rob Ector.  She shot it urbanesque style on the streets and in a warehouse building.

The "106 & Park" VeeJay rocked her snug thigh high boots, short shorts, and a blazer with nothing underneath.

Probably not the best choice of boots, but I'm loving the choppy hair and makeup and realistic style of the shoot.

Kerry Washington looks modern artsy in her new photoshoot for LA TIMES Magazine’s December 2010 issue.  Kerry posed topless...but tasteful...for the futuristic, high fashion shoot with celebrity photographer Ruben Afanador and rocked a Manish Arora dress. 

In the mag, Kerry chatted about her latest project, a dark movie called Night Catches Us, with cutie Anthony Mackie.

In the December 2010/January 2011 issue of EBONY, Vanessa Williams talked about priorities and family.  A book publisher recently offered her $600,000 to write a tell-all book about her two ex-husbands, Ramon Hervey II and former NBA player Rick Fox, but she turned it down.  Why?

Vanessa said:

I don’t want to rehash the past. I want to talk about what makes me, and why I’m a survivor. And [the publishers] didn’t want that. They wanted to know about my ex-husbands. But I’m not going to throw my kids’ dads under the bus.

Right on Ms. Williams.  The "Desperate Housewife" is anything but.  It's not a good look to bash your ex in front of the children you created together.  EVen if he did cheat all around town.  She's a classy one...

Michael Jordan's New $20 Million Mansion!+Erin Barry Claims She Never Got It In With Tony Parker

Michael Jordan's got a brand new crib.  And it's 20 million times better than yours.  At least it should be for the price.  We've got the first look at MJ's brand new custom mansion, plus Tony Parker's alleged mistress Erin Barry's denial when you read on....

In PGA legend Jack Nicklaus' new "Bear's Club" development in Jupiter, FL, MJ is building this $20 million mansion.  He copped the land for 4.8 millie, then paid 7.8 mill to build the mansion.  And it'll be more millies to finish it and trick it out.  I guess he and his girl Yvette will be living it up in the ridiculously sprawling digs. 

The Jordan estate has 11 bedrooms, a two-story guard house and an athletic "wing" with a basketball court.  Oh, and his neighbors are the golf course and the ocean.  NICE!  By the way, Tiger just copped a home in the development for $50 millie.  DAMN!

Tony Parker's ex-teammate's wife, Erin Barry, is now denying that she ever had an affair with Tony.  She posted on her website that going through her own divorce has been difficult enough without all the drama.  Here's her statement she posted on her website:

Greetings all,

It has been brought to my attention that people who do not know me think that I have had an affair with Tony Parker. I have received hundreds of emails and phone calls from supportive friends who do know me and know that what is being insinuated about me is a complete lie. I am so busy with my children and law school studies that to take even a few moments out of my day to address this ludicrous issue is an annoyance. I only take the time to explain myself because apparently my silence, as a result of my indifference, has been construed as an admission of guilt. These are my words and this is the last you will hear from me on this subject because I have more important things to do.

I DID NOT HAVE AN AFFAIR WITH TONY PARKER, nor did I “pursue” Tony Parker. Unfortunately, because our divorces are occurring at the same time, great speculation has been cast on our friendship. My friendship with Tony Parker had nothing to do with the end of my marriage (which is painful enough without this added drama), and to assume that we had an affair is naïve, ridiculous, and completely misguided.

Every day I dedicate myself to being a good person and the best Mom that I can possibly be for my two beautiful children. I pride myself on being a Mom first, an advocate for abused children second, and a law student third. Those are the things that are of the utmost importance to me. I have spent my adult life fighting for children who have been victimized so forgive me for not caring when someone tells me that my name is being dragged through the mud.

Salacious rumors are not what keep me awake at night. What keeps me awake is wondering how the 5-year-old who was taken away from her abusive family is sleeping during her first night in a children’s shelter. I worry about friends fighting overseas and whether or not they will return home to their families. I worry about the health of my children, my family, and my friends. I worry about soccer uniforms, carpool, immunizations, baseball practice, paying the bills on time, grocery shopping, the kid’s homework, and so many other things that may seem menial to some people; but to me are everything. Right now I worry about my law school finals… being a first year law student is much scarier than dealing with gossip!

Happy Thanksgiving. My family and I want thank our troops and their families for their sacrifices that enable us to enjoy our freedoms this holiday season.

WHOA: Beyonce's "I Am...World Tour" DVD Goes DOUBLE Platinum In A WEEK!

Although it hasn't been on shelves for a full two-weeks, just 1 week to be exact, Beyonce's I Am...World Tour DVD/soundtrack is already double platinum.  Deets inside...

 

Making her directorial debut (this always cracks me up, she WAS the only one in the room when she was filming herself speak), Beyonce's I AM...WORLD TOUR full-length concert film/soundtrack has been certified double platinum after its initial release on Friday, November 26. The DVD now holds the #1 position on Nielsen SoundScan Music DVD chart and has already been certified platinum in Brazil too.  So chick has gone double platinum in a little over a week thanks to US and Brazilian sales.

Produced, directed and edited by Beyonce for her own Parkwood Pictures, the concert film weaves together concert and tour footage from 108 shows, 78 cities, 32 countries, on six continents all from her perspective.

And that's not the only thing Beyonce has to celebrate.  With her two 2011 Grammy nominations, Beyonce is now the most nominated female in Grammy history with 42 nods. And the third overall.  Say what you will, but this type of history (especially since we know how hard black females have it in this music game) is something to be applauded and respected at the very least.

Pappy Knowles is somewhere patting himself (and new Baby Knowles) on the back for this one.  A Blu-ray version of Beyonce's I AM...WORLD TOUR will be available, Tuesday, December 7.  I have a feeling Bee-season is about to swarm again since she's been in the studio working away on a new album.  You ready?

 

EVENT FAB: Johnny Nunez's New Era Launch + The 10th Annual Heroes In The Struggle Gala

Last night celebrity photographer Johnny Nunez hosted a launch party for New Era Cap Co. at their flagship store in NYC.  See pics inside with his celebrity friends, plus YBF celebs Blair Underwood, Essence Atkins, Tatyana Ali and others who got fab for an event in Hollywood.

Renowned celebrity photographer, Johnny Nunez, who is THE go-to photog for the biggest hip hop events in the industry, has teamed with New Era Cap Co., Inc., the international headwear and apparel giant, to launch a signature 59FIFTY cap. And we love when folks give back.

The very limited edition cap celebrates the influential work of the EYE CAN Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives and opportunities of foster care youth and the visually impaired so they can see a better future. 

Asked about the cap, Johnny said  “I feel this event is historic and that we are doing something that has never been done before. I am creating fashion by incorporating Braille for the visually impaired and blind. I am honored to have this opportunity.” 

Journalist Datwon Thomas and Kid Capri were in the house.

Johnny jumped in the booth with DJ Cassidy to get the party started.

And over on the west coast, the 10th Annual Heroes In The Struggle Gala was held last night at Avalon in Hollywood, CA.

The handsome Blair Underwood attended.  I swear this dude doesn't age.

 Kimberly Elise made an appearance.  A strategic safety pin really would have come in handy.

SPORTS FAB: Fans Are Doing WHAT For LeBron's Return To Cleveland Tonight?!

LeBron James and the Miami Heat travel to Cleveland tonight to take on Bron's former team. We've got the deets on the crazy things fans are planning for LeBron's return when you read on...

 

Since LeBron's decision to join the Heat, many Cleveland fans have developed a hatred for their former star player. Fans burned his jersey and the Cav's owner was fined for a letter he wrote dissing LeBron. Tonight marks LeBron's first return to Cleveland since joining the Heat. There is increased security and some tickets are even selling for $5k! 

When asked about playing against Cleveland for the first time in his career LeBron said, "I think it is going to be tough. I think it is going to tough. But I am there to win a basketball game. But I understand how passionate fans are about sports. So I'm ready for whatever responses I am going to get, but it is going to be very emotional."

 

Cav fans went as far as to create a chant sheet for LeBron's return. Some instructions include not to boo LeBron during pre-game introductions but to boo as loud as possible during his introduction. You can find the entire chant list here. Fans even have shirts that read, "LeBron went south when his mom rode West" in reference to the rumors that former teammate Delonte West slept with LeBron's mother.  Smdh.  Ish is gonna get real REAL tonight...

It will be interesting to see how badly LeBron gets harassed at tonight's game. The Heat take on the Cavs at 8/7c on TNT.

While your fave celebs like Alicia Keys, Usher, Jennifer Hudson and plenty others remain "digitally dead" until that $1 millie mark is reached in money raised for AIDS afforts, Mrs. Beatz hit up "106 & Park" last night to promote the campaign.

To commemorate World AIDS Day, Alicia Keys went to "106" to talk to Rocsi and the kiddies about what the day means to her.  She also encouraged everyone to give money for reaserch and cures to BuyLife.org--her pet website she's using as a vehicle to raise money for the cause. Once the $1 mill mark is reached, the digitally dead celebs who have been abstaining from Facebook, Twitter, everything social since November 3oth, will miraculously come back to life.

She signed autographs for the audience members and looked great in her all black look.

And afterwards, she hit a screening for the movie Blutiful:
