YBF Celebrity Stylist June Ambrose Cops Her Own VH1 Reality Show!

Just when we were crying our eyes out because the "Rachel Zoe Project" is still on hiatus....another uber fab stylist is about to hit our tv screens.  YBF stylist June Ambrose--who currently Jay-Z, Kanye, Chrisette Michele, Diddy, call on constantly to get them dappered up--just nabbed her own show.

 

And we've got the deets when you read on...

Fashion and styling guru June Ambrose just signed on with VH1 to shoot her pilot episode of her new reality show The YBF has exclusively learned.

She's been in the fashion game for over 15 years, so it won't be another "fake it till you make it" reality show.  She's worked with pretty much any and everybody in the game and is indeed THE go-to stylist for the YBF folks and others.

June's style has a vintage glam meets modern chic deliciousness that we adore and a ridiculous closet we would probably kill 3 people for.  And if you follow her amusing stylecapades on Twitter, she takes you to all her fave boutiques to shop for her clientele and on the sets of shoots and movies with her celeb clients.  And now...all that will be on tv.

We hear it will also show the business side of her style game (which her husband Marc handles) and her two uber cute fashion head kiddies daughter Summer (above) and son Chance.

I'll be watching....

TV FAB: Oprah's Interview With Babs Walters + The First Fam's National Christmas Tree Lighting + Halle Berry On "The Tonight Show"

Last night, some of your fave YBFers crowded your tv set.  Oprah Winfrey was interviewed by Barbara Walters, The Obama family and Common hosted the 2010 National Christmas Tree Lighting, and Halle Berry stopped by "The Tonight Show."  In case you missed any of it, we'll catch you up inside...

 

Last night Oprah sat down with ABC News' Barbara Walters for an interview that covered her 25-year-old talk show, friendship with Gayle King (plus the lesbian rumors) and her relationship with Stedman  Graham.  Watch the full special below:

 

We heart Oprah.

Along with the First Family, Common hosted the 2010 National Christmas Tree Lighting last night.

First Granny Mario, First Lady Michelle, First Kids Sasha and Malia, and POTUS Obama all hit the big button to light up the tree at the WHite House Elipse.

Before the show....

Common hit the red carpet with Santa. 

Then he posed with fellow performer Adam Levine on the carpet. 

 

And kicked it with B.B. King too.

 

Michelle, along with daughters Sasha and Malia Obama, had the best seats in the house for the festivities of course.

Little oprah prodigy Jackie Evancho joined Common on stage.  

Later on, Michelle took to the stage to read a story to some cute kids during the event.  

Fine Holiday fun.  Sasha's facial expressions kill me softly.  Loves her.

 

Ms. Berry stopped by "The Tonight Show" to talk about her Broadway debut in "The Mountaintop" opposite Samuel L. Jackson. The play takes place on the day MLK was killed. There are only two characters, Samuel Jackson who plays Martin Luther King, Jr. and Halle who plays his maid.  It debuts next year. 

Halle brought out some Garrett's Popcorn from Chicago (GOOD ISH by the way) and gave Jay a "popcorn orgasm."  Watch the video here:

Keri Hilson Says She's "Getting D**K Tonight" & Celebrates Her B-Day?!

I see Keri Hilson's going all in this time around.  She brought her freaky deeky act (which we're still not buying) to the stage at Webster Hall in NYC last night.  She was celebrating her 28th birthday.  And before performing "Turnin' Me On", she the the crowd something about getting piped down.

Ms. Keri turned 28 last week and she's still celebrating.  So at her birthday party last night, she hit the stage and asked the crowd, "Somebody's getting some d*ck tonight"  Check the vid above for yourselves.

While we have absolutely no issues with feeling like you need a certain...gift...for your b-day, taking the stage to announce it maybe isn't the most female youth empowering thing to do.  That is what Keri's been pushing this year right--empowering young ladies into being the best woman they can be?

Some folks think Keri's sudden change to expressing her delight for Vitamin D every chance she gets and every position she likes it in is empowering.  While others feel like it's too contrived and trashy and she's not pulling it off correctly.

All I know is, Janet Jackson is one of the freakiest people on earth, and we ALL know it, yet I've never seen her publicly say the things Ms. Keri has.  There's a way to do it.  And I just don't think this is it.

In other news, Brandy and Terrence J were once again by each other's side at the party.

Karrine Steffans Gets Restraining Order On Eddie Winslow?!

Karrine Steffans has been in an abusive relationship with her ex-husband Darius McCrary. According to her.  We've got the latest deets about the two when you read on...

 

Y'all know we rarely, if ever, discuss Supahead Karrine Steffans.  But now that some legal papers have been filed and drama is still ensuing, it's only fitting. 

A judge just granted Karrine a temporary restraining order for her ex husband Darius McCrary, and he must stay 100 yeards away from her. In the documents, the video vixen turned author says her ex "choked her from behind and beat her with a belt", all in front of her 12 year old son. 

This wasn't the only incident between the two. Karrine claims McCrary was abusive again in November. She claims he choked her and shoved her into a car in front of a large crowd in LA. The temporary restraining order says that McCrary must stay atleast 100 yards away from his ex-wife. Karrine is asking to make the restraining order more permanent and is scheduled in court next week.

Karrine sent out a letter to some sites a few weeks ago detailing how Darius was abusing her. No one believed her and viewed it as a publicity stunt because Karrine has a history of being a pathological liar.  Ona a side note...I wish I WOULD get "handled" by Eddie Winslow.  That's just foolish.

About two years ago, Darius filed a restraining order against Karrine claiming that she was abusing him. The two divorced earlier this year.  And hopefully they're both getting the obvious therapy that they need...

BIRTHDAY FAB: Nicki Minaj & Her Cakes Turn 26 In Vegas

She had two of her fave chicks, Cassie and Amber Rose, on her side while celebrating her 26th birthday in Vegas.  Nicki Minaj donned her blonde wig and nude sparkly body suit and sparkly pumps for her bash in Vegas at TAO last night.  And she partied it up with her Young Money fam, Pink Friday inspired cakes, and her Barbz and Kenz.

Not gonna lie.  These Pink Friday inspired cakes are super cute.

Cassie and AMber Rose kicked it in VIP witht he birthday girl.  Amber took a page out of Minnie Mouse's book while Cassie kept it sexy in Herve Leger and cute tie-up heels.

Love the shoes.  Usually I feel like Nicki does entirely way too much and tries way too hard.  But this look I'm actually digging.

She got kissy with the HNIC Weezy and snapped some Twitpics for the kidz.

And Baby and the rest of the Young Money crew were there as well.

I can only imagine what's getting whispered in ears around those parts....

Brandy & Terrence J.: Hand Holding Twosome?

Just when we thought those flirtatious courtside pics between Terrence J. and Brandy could be just innocent fun, we get this little nugget.  Looks like the two were on a secret little date on another completely separate night.  The pic when you read on...

Brandy and Terrence were spotted out and about in NYC recently.  In the pic, the two were holding hands and snuggling while walking to their destination. 

Our source tells us the twosome "were definitely acting like an item."  Said source went on to say that "there was obvious chemistry between the two."

Hmmm.  Publicity stunt?  Possibly.  True lust/like? Also possible.  Time will tell....

Keith Washington Broadcasts "Personal" Conversation With Aretha On The Radio

We told you earlier that Aretha Franklin was suffering from pancreatic cancer, and now we have a few more details about her illness.  And you'll never guess the source.  Her "friend" former R&B crooner Keith Washington called up Re Re and decided to broadcast their phone convo live on the radio.  Shady much?  We've got the convo inside...

 

Yesterday, one of Aretha's close friends took it upon himself to broadcast a private conversation with her on the radio and internet.  That friend, Keith Washington, who sang the hit song 'Kissing You,'  hosts his own local Detroit radio show 'Kisses After Dark' on WDMK/105.9 Kiss FM.  The radio station provided a Youtube clip, which is dated Dec.8, that shows Keith having a phone conversation with the multiple Grammy Award-winning Queen of Soul.

According to Black Voices, it starts like this:

Keith:  "Is there any possible way that I could, at your discretion, just get a brief interview with you because all of your fans have just been calling the station, so concerned."

Aretha:  "When I feel better, Keith."

Keith: "But, you are OK?"

Aretha:  "We're waiting for confirmation from the doctors."

A source close to Aretha told BlackVoices.com that Keith and Aretha are friends but,

"It was wrong Aretha didn't know she was getting taped."

After the two hung up the phone Keith is heard telling someone in the studio,

"Just talking to her right now and hearing her say they are waiting for certain things is kind of touchy and becomes sensitive to me because if there was nothing wrong, they wouldn't be waiting on results."

Then Keith appeared on Detroit's FOX2 local news to report the status on Franklin's health.

Hmmm....nice to see Aretha's health is providing him a way to promote his show.  SMH. As a friend, he should have asked to tape her and should only be giving out info Aretha approved him to talk about.

Neither Keith, his radio station nor Aretha's spokeswoman would comment on the matter to Blackvoices today.  But we can all agree something in the water ain't clean.

Imagine sitting at your desk, having your coffee, and Prince strolls up beside you.  That's the story the ladies of "The View" will be telling tonight over dinner.  Find out what Prince talked about inside...

 

Prince showed up on "The View" to promote his upcoming shows at Madison Square Garden, shocking the unexpecting hosts.  He then handed out tickets to his Dec. 18th concert at MSG to each of the hosts before walking off stage as Sherri Shepherd said to him, "I have wanted to make love to you all my life."  Yes...she said that.

Trey Songz's Water-Breaking New Interview + Vh1 Returns With Season 2 Of 'What Chili Wants'

After Chili was unable to find the man of her dreams last season, she's back again for season two. In this season, she's not only looking for a man, but a potential father and husband. Chili's new contestants are men from all over the country, including an Indy race car driver and a Swedish model. Her old boo Floyd Mayweather also reappears in Chili's life in the new season, making Chili decide between Floyd or a new love.

Wonder if she's still going to use her extensive checklist?

CLINK CLINK: Wesley Snipes Is In Jail + Young Jeezy's Manager Denies Arrest Reports

We have it on good word that Wesley Snipes is officially on lock down.  Get the deets inside plus find out how Young Jeezy's manager is trying to clear up those "false" arrest reports...

 

According to TMZ, Traci Billingsley, Chief Public Information Officer for the Bureau of Prisons, said,  "Wesley Snipes has self surrendered to the minimum security Federal Prison Camp at the Federal Correctional Institution McKean, in Bradford, Pennsylvania."

Another spokesperson for the B.O.P., Ed Ross, also confirmed, "Wesley Snipes has arrived and is at the prison facility in PA."

Mr. Nino Brown will be away for the next three years for tax evasion.  Remember that when April 15 rolls around for you. 

 

We are so used to our rappers being bad boys with the law that it is hard to give them the benefit of doubt..  But apparently the blog world jumped the gun a few days ago when reporting Young Jeezy was arrested.  His manager says it didn't happen. 

According to the rapper's manager Demetrius "Kinky B" Ellerbee, the reports of Jeezy's arrest in New Providence are false.

"It's not true," Demetrius said to MTV News, dismissing a report by Bahama-based newspaper The Tribune, who claimed Jeezy was booked before a show a few days ago.  According to reports, the rapper was simply "in the wrong place at the wrong time" when he was arrested and released, just before his performance at Club Luna, later that evening.

Police in the Bahamas have yet-to-reveal any more details about the alleged arrest.  SMH. Ok.  We will keep you posted as details are revealed.

Career in a nutshell:

I work in a family business
founded by my late father over 60 years ago.
Today our group comprises over 50 companies in the Gulf region in real estate, automotive istribution, engineering and construction, retail, food services and media, and is managed by mytwo brothers and I.

In 2004 I wanted to expand our retail division into luxury. Today, our luxury division comprises of over 40 stores in the Gulf, representing brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Hermès, Balenciaga, Chloé and Roberto Cavalli. What do you wear to work:

I’m usually wearing a pair of jeans by Dior, PRPS or Dolce & Gabbana. An Hermès or Balenciaga hoodie, Rick Owens tank top and leather jacket with a pair of sneakers or Louboutin hi-tops. Sometimes I wear a suit – only Giorgio Armani made to measure – with an Hermès shirt, belt and shoes. When I’m in the GCC I like to wear my traditional attire; thobe and ghutra, which is so comfortable and I love the fact that it’s tailor made and you can choose between different fabrics. Besides, it’s part of my culture and heritage.

 

Who is your dream woman:

I think a man’s dream woman changes as he goes through different stages in his life. I’m fortunate to be dating my dream woman now.

What is your dream boy’s toy:

Ha! That’s funny because my girlfriend [singer Janet Jackson] just bought me the most amazing gift; a 1964 Lincoln Continental convertable with suicide doors... and it’s in mint condition. That’s my ultimate boy’s toy.

Is greed good:

Greed is terrible. I think we need to learn how to be content with what we have. Money doesn’t buy happiness, nor do material things.

Bey rocked her yellow shortset, sky high YSL heels and black Birkin bag to lunch on the Gold Coast in Australia yesterday.  The Carters have been looking mighty relaxed these days.  Can we blame them?
