Jennifer Hudson is hard at work.  No days off for the Holiday as the slim and trim and cleavage rocking YBF chick rlle dinto Boston to rehearse for her upcoming independence Day concert.  Pics inside, plus Nicki Minaj arriving back home to Trinidad to film her next video....

Jenny Hudson looked fabulous in this long fitted Zebra print dress with a low cut neckline and high slit.  The Weight Watchers spokeswoman rehearsed with the Boston ops yesterday as she will be headlining the big outdoor festival on the Charles River off the Boston Harbour tonight.

She's looking amazing these days.  And before hopping on stage, the Winnie actress was spotted arriving to the arena looking laid back and casual:

Her next gig?  She's set to star in the upcoming The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete with director George Tillman Jr.  According to IMDB, it's a coming of age story about two inner city youths, who are left to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by the authorities.
 

 

And look who else is working through the Holiday.   Yesterday, Nicki Minaj jetted to Trinidad.  The reason for the trip back home to where she was born--she's filming another island video today with director Benny Boom.  This time it's for her track, which will be released as a single for her International fans, "Pound The Alarm."

Nicki tweeted today: "Rise and shine Trinidad!!!!!!! Time to shoot #poundthealarm

She was spotted strolling through the airport carrying a Trini flag.  And snapping pics with awaiting fans:

The "Starships" rapper put out a casting call earlier this week asking or 500 extras to participate in a big Carnivale scene.  This video ought to be interesting...

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were spotted leaving the Louis Vuitton afterparty in Paris last night. See the photos inside and find out what famous couple they ran into yesterday.....

 

 

After sitting front row for the Stephane Rolland couture show, the black & hite loving duo changed outfits and were seen leaving the Louis Vuitton aftershow in celebration of the boutique opening.  Kim wore a zippered crop top and paperbag trousers.  Can't decide if we're feeling the look on her.

Kanye and Kim ran into Mel B and her husband Stephen after the Stephane Rolland couture show.

Frank Ocean Comes Out The Closet About His Sexuality, Reveals His First Love Was A Man

Today's not just Independence Day for our country.  Odd Future singer and rising star producer/writer Frank Ocean just declared his independence from being in the closet.  In a revealing letter posted on his Tumblr, the "Thinkin Bout You" singer opened up about his first love--a man.  Check it inside.....

 

With rumors swirling that Frank Ocean planned to open up about his sexuality (rumors said bi-sexuality to be exact) on his upcoming album Channel Orange, Mr. Ocean decided to take matters into his own hands today and reveal all.  On his Tumblr.

He posted the letter he wrote back in December and that he planned to save for his album insert.

It was a revealing story about the 24-year-old falling in love with a man, 4 summers ago.  And the relationship continued until last year.  That first summer, the two spent every day and every night together.  Spending time and sleeping together.  But since the other man had a girlfriend and refused to come out about his feelings, it caused Frank to suffer from an inner struggle.  He couldn't get the love he wanted in return.  So he packed up his bags and moved to L.A. from Louisiana to pursue his music--in order to suppress his pain and heartache.  And it got him to where he is today.

"4 summers ago, I met somebody," he wrote. "I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Everyday almost. And on the days we were together, time would glide. Most of the day I'd see him, and his smile.

"Sleep I would often share with him. By the time I realised I was in love, it was malignant. It was hopeless. There was no escaping, no negotiating to the women I had been with, the ones I cared for and thought I was in love with.

"I sat there and told my friend how I felt. I wept as the words left my mouth. I grieved for then. Knowing I could never take them back for myself. He patted my back. He said kind things. He did his best, but he wouldn't admit the same.

"He had to go back inside soon. It was late and his girlfriend was waiting for him upstairs. He wouldn't tell the truth about his feelings for me for another 3 years. I felt like I'd only imagined reciprocity for years.

"I kept up a peculiar friendship with him because I couldn't imagine keeping up my life without him. I struggled to master myself and my emotions. I wasn't always successful.

"I don't have any secrets I need kept anymore. There's probably some small s**t still, but you know what I mean. I was never alone, as much as it felt like it. As much as I still do sometimes. I never was. I don't think I ever could be. Thanks. To my first love, I'm grateful for you.

Before posting the letter, he posted another statement saying he hopes kids don't inherit the bullshit we did.  And he made it clear just what bullshit he was talking about.

Today marks the 14th birthday of "First Daughter" Malia Obama!   Celebrate her special day inside.....

 

There's a teenager growing up in the White House as Malia Obama turns 14 today.  As she celebrates her birthday on the same day as the nation, we cant believe how quickly she's growing up to be a tre YBF chick.

It can't be easy growing up with your Father being the POTUS, but Malia is handling it with style and grace.  Can't wait to see who the first boy will be to have the guts (and audacity) to try to woo lil Malia.  Get ready Mr. President...

AFTER THE WEDDING: Michael Vick & Wife Kijafa Party It Up...In The Club

NFL Superstar Michael Vick was spotted just hours after his wedding in Miami with his new wife Kijafa...at the club.  Seems to be a popular post-wedding spot (T.I. & Tiny did the same thing).

The sexy quarterback is now officially off the market.  Mike Vick married his long time girlfriend and mother of his kids, Kijafa Frink, in a private ceremony in the city of Miami over the weekend.   Kijafa threw on her white & tight party dress to party late at night at Club Dream with her new hubby. It was the first time they were pictured together as a married couple, as the wedding was earlier in the day. The twosome and a group of friends stayed until 4AM.

By the way, Mike is entering the second year of his six-year, $100 million extension contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.  Can't blame the man for poppin' a bottle or two...

Hitting shelves on July 10th, Raven Symone covers the Summer issue of HEED Magazine.  In the mag, the former "That's So Raven" star dishes on her role in the Broadway play Sister Act and offers readers a glimpse behind-the-scenes of the play.  And outside of her acting duties, Raven reveals her commitment to certain social projects like Merck’s “Plan It Forward” campaign.

She says:

“I have plans for my personal life and I have plans for my career…I just know that there’s more to life…I’m not curing cancer, those people are way more important than I—I’m just here to make you smile.”

R. Kelly claims the romantic film The Notebook actually led to his divorce to his ex-wife, "Hollywood Exes" star Andrea Kelly.  He said in his new memoir, Soulacoaster, 

"As the film credits started to roll, I couldn't move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. 'The Notebook' was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together.  But I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine's Day -- when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses -- that had come and gone ... My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back."

 

For her part, Andrea is calling the claims "bullsh*t" saying to TMZ, "[The movie] came out in 2004 and we saw it together. Our divorce wasn’t finalized until 2009 so it’s impossible that the movie could have been the reason for our relationship ending.  We had been separated for 6 years at that point! The movie definitely did not end our relationship!”

Yeah, R.  That did sound a bit foolish.

In case Meagan Good & DeVon Franklin's wedding a few weeks ago happened faster than their friends and fam expected, they've left open their wedding registry so folks can still cop some gifts.  They asked for a new Sleep Number bed (a celibate couple has to start the marriage off right after all), a Honeymoon fund and a few $1000+ items.  See what all made the list...

If you've got a couple thousand dollars laying around, feel free to cop Meagan & DeVon a few of the things on their wedding registry at MyRegistry.com.  Like a few $1300 sofas and a $2250 BOSE home entertainment system for their new love shack.  And somebody's about to be frying up some chicken with the $45 mini deep fryer they requested.  Not mad at that.

As for the rest of the list we got a peek at--a $200, $300 & $400 items like organic sheets, flat screens, silverware and a Swiss Army box knife set.

The twosome already took a mini honeymoon last week, but seem to be planning a bigger one soon.   Live it up....

 

Kanye & Kim Get Dramatic At Paris Fashion Week, 'Ye Gives Kim His Last Name?

Kanye West and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are making the rounds for Paris Fashion Week.  And they're keeping up their love for black and white.  See the pics inside and find out about Kanye allegedly making his girl Kim Kardashian West...with a $35,000 skull!

 

The rapper & the reality star were spotted at today's Paris Fall/Winter Fashion Show for Stephane Rolland.  Kim in a dramatic high slit black dress with dramatic origami embellishment and her fave Louboutins, and Kanye in a tailored black blazer and pants for the occasion.

But what we really want to know is if 'Ye is planning to make a major move soon that involves a big question and a big change of Kim's last name?  Because he's already hinted at the latter. 

HipHollywood.com reports that Kanye bought Kim a gold lion statue (like the $35K version he bought Jay-Z for Father's Day) which he had delivered to her this morning.  He apparently bought this one after learning that it is similar to one that Michael Jackson gave Elizabeth Taylor (who Kim says is her idol).  And in addition to the white diamonds it's decked out in...he engraved KKW on the back.  Kim Kardashian West.  Oh.  That's what we're doing....

Meanwhile, for today's presentation, the twosome looked quite happy in their element on the front row.  So.......................

BIKER BABE: Will & Biker Chick Jada RIDE OUT After Dinner

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith know how to make an interesting exit.  After the twosome grabbed dinner at NOBU Malibu with Jada's mom Marion, Will left in his black car while Jada hopped on her huge 3 wheel motorcycle.  And she also ran into styling guru Rachel Zoe.

Dressed in a bright yellow biker jacket and boots, Jada tucked her head of wild curls into her helmet before taking off on this motorbike that's 100x her size.  And it looks like her hubby loves the little daredevil in her too:

Stylist Rachel Zoe was spotted at the restaurant as well, so she and her little boy Skylar stopped to chat.

Could you imagine pulling up to a red light and seeing Jada on top of this next to you in traffic?  Hilarity.  And I see Mama Marion opted for her own 4 wheels instead.  Ha.

MiMi Faust Responds To Her Man Stevie J Getting Joseline Knocked Up, Says "I Have Clarity Now"

After being confronted by her boyfriend's "pregnant" side chick, Mimi Faust took to Twitter to let fans know she now has clarity on her "situation" with Stevie J. Deets inside.....

Mimi Faust's appearance on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" haven't done her public image any favors, but last night's episode took things to a whole new level.

First, she had to deal with being confronted by her man's side chick, who revealed that she was pregnant. During a very tense conversation, side chick Joseline Hernandez took the more aggressive role and confronted Mimi about both of their relationships with Stevie J.

As they were talking, Stevie J. showed up at the venue.  And with a move that stunned viewers, he pulled the pregnancy test out of his pocket!  (SIDEBAR:  Why is Stevie J walking around with Joseline's pregnancy test in his pocket?)  At that point, Mimi gathered up what was left of her dignity and exited the "scene."  Her parting words to Joseline was a very snarky, "Joseline.....good luck with your baby."

And with all this drink tossing, is anyone going to address that Stevie J. is outright abusive towards the women in his life?  Not sure what in the Ike Turner hell is going on here, but clearly he (and his chicks) think this ish is cute.

So MiMi has no offered up her response to the foolery that went down.  She tweeted,

"Doing the show was a blessing and a curse. Id still be in the dark and clueless had I not done it. The downside is dealing with the truth It hurts to find out the man u loved so much was capable of doing the most but I've been given the gift of clarity. My new beginning begins My only wish is for my daughter to learn from my mistakes and know her worth and never experience what I've been thru. I love her sooo much But at the end of the day a very dysfunctional relationship produced the most pure love Ive ever experienced. My daughter. So no regrets"

Hmm.....so it sounds like Mimi is done with Stevie and moving on with her life.  But based on what we've seen of her character, Stevie could have her back under his thumb if he wanted to.

Season 3 of "Braxton Family Values" is on the way!  And some ish has changed (like Tamar getting her life and really trying for a baby) and some ish hasn't (why is Trina still even speaking to Gabe?)

The Braxtons are returning with six new hour-long episodes for Season 3 at the end of this summer. Here's the run down of what's popping off for next season: Tamar's going full speed ahead on trying to conceive a baby with hubby Vincent, Trina still going back and forth with Gabe, Traci trying to open her hair salon in Maryland, Towanda trying to talk her husband into her carrying Tamar's baby, Mama Evelyn starting life coaching, and Toni breaking out her new music.

The new season of "Braxton Family Values premieres Thursday, August 16th at 9|8c only on WE tv.

 

The Lifetime movie remake of Steel Magnolias, starring Queen Latfiah, Phylicia and Condola Rashad, Jill Scott, Alfre Woodard and more just got its first trailer.

There's no official premiere date as of yet, but the 2 minute premiere is making us a little more okay with the idea of remaking this 1989 classic.  You feelin' it?

Rihanna CANCELS Madrid CONCERT, Heads Homes To Be With Mom After Grandmother's DEATH

Rihanna has cancelled her upcoming Rock In Rio concert in Madrid to spend time with family and attend the funeral of her Grandmother. Deets inside....

 

Following her performance at the Swedish music festival Peace And Love, Rihanna has decided to cancel her July 5th "Rock In Rio" concert "for personal reasons," based on the notice posted on Rock In Rio's website today.  Ticketholders will be able to recoup their money if they'd like, even though many more acts are on the bill.

Though the exact reasons weren't revealed, it's pretty safe to say she needs time to mourn her grandmother's recent death.  Rih was spotted leaving her hotel in London (above) to head home to Barbados to be with her family.

As her fam deals with the death of their beloved Gran Gran Dolly, Rihanna plans to spend time being supportive and dealing with her own emotions.

After tweeting a series of pics dedicated to her where she said, Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you, Rihanna posted the above pic and message to her mother saying, "Coming home to squeeze ya mama."
