NOT HIS WEEK: Bow Wow's Dad PENS Open Letter Asking Him To Not Drag His Name In The Mud Any Longer

Bow Wow's biological father must be paying attention to his son's baby mama woes as he's penned an open letter warning him about the pitfalls of alcohol and "deadbeat Dad" syndrome that runs in their family.  Read it inside......

The biological father of Bow Wow (Alfonso Moss) has penned an open letter to the rapper begging him to stop dragging his name through the mud while, also warning him about the generational pitfalls of alcohol and being a "deadbeat" that run in their family. He also said that Keyshia Cole & Tyler Perry have helped their families despite the pitfalls.  Is Alfonso trying to ask Bow to do the same?  Or is he just a father desperate to reach out to his son?

We told you earlier that Bow Wow is already being accused of being a deadbeat (timewise at least) by his baby mom's sister, so this makes the timing of the letter even more interesting.  

 

Read Alfonso's letter in full below:

“Son, I guess the only way you want to communicate with me is through the media. I recently read your article in Vibe and I felt like I needed to contact you.

“First off, I want you to know how happy and proud I am of you and your success. I was also blessed that your mother and step-father did an excellent job of raising you to the man you are today. I can also say that I am proud that you have done your best to be a father to your daughter. I don’t want you to have the regrets that I have had for not being in your life more than I have been. Your Grandfather, my Dad, left me at an early age as well, it is time to stop this cycle.”

“I actually thought that we were making positive steps to rebuild our relationship when we spoke last year during labor day weekend. I thought that call was going to be like it use to be when you and one of your girlfriends were together and you asked me how to cook tacos.”

“We had a good bonding moment. So, when you called me last year, I thought we were having a private conversation only to see the video on Vibe.com of you asking me “are you clean,” like I’m some kind of junkie or something. I am NOT a junkie, but I am an alcoholic.”

“I am concerned and worried about you. I am not sure if you know this or not, but Alcoholism runs on both sides of your family. Both of your grandfathers and me have struggled with the disease. Please be careful and be mindful so that you will not succumb to this disease that is in your genes.”

“Shad, I never asked you for anything, but I am asking for one thing now. Can you please stop throwing me under the bus and talking bad about me?”

“I may be an alcoholic, but I never physically abused you. Keyshia Cole tried to help her Mother. Tyler Perry takes care of his family financially and he was sexually abused by some of them. All I am asking is that you stop dragging my name in the mud.”

 

Seems like Bow Wow could inherited his alleged "deadbeat" ways outright.  But was this open letter necessary?  Speak on it.

Tameka Raymond Releases First Full Statement--Thanks Fans For Support & Speaks On Custody Battle

Tameka Raymond is already back in the hot seat with the media after her shocking response to Usher's court doc hit the net yesterday.  Now, in a statement, she explains being thankful for the condolences, why she feels the media is manipulating her and why she can't prolong this custody case.

In a Global Grind post by Tameka entitled "My Personal Statement (NO PR, NO "Team"...Just ME)", Tameka poured out her feelings behind the loss of her son Kile and the new drama with Usher behind the custody battle court documents.

Here are her words in full:

 

To begin, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the countless number of people who opened their hearts, extended their prayers, well-wishes and remained hopeful for my son Kile during the last weeks of his life. I truly believe that he has always been an Angel from birth and the World was just too small to contain a spirit so vast. I'm thankful and blessed to merely be the vessel that carried him and humbled that God gave him to us to love. I also feel humbled by everyone’s show of concern, and knowing that Kile Glover touched the lives of so many has given me strength during my worst & darkest hour … Again I THANK YOU ALL!

Sadly, I remain in the unfortunate position of having to respond to and attend court proceedings that were not initiated or begun by me. I did not file this custody case (January 2011) and was content with the ‘joint custody’ arrangement that we share. Most importantly, nor do I wish to appear in court while I am mourning the loss of my son. But I do not want to delay thus prolong these proceedings either; I'd rather continue this arduous process hoping it will help move me through this most difficult period in my life. People seem to be privy to only my filed responses as ‘Defendant’ to the initiation of this case (Jan 4, 2011), when I have only been defending myself and protecting the best interests of my children through my counsel. I cannot control how the media reports are written/slanted/spun or even how court documents may be manipulated in their attribution of certain statements as if they are direct “quotes” from me- yet I can control what I actually say myself.

This may sound really cliché but you must NOT believe everything you read or hear and never judge… especially without solid facts and always, but always consider the source. Discernment is key. My boys are my entire world and I will fight tooth and nail to keep all of my sons together as a family, I pray for a swift, peaceful resolution so that we all can move forward.

Again, thank you for your concern, positive energy and hope for my family during this surreal time. There have been times when just the right words, at the right time, have provided me shelter through this storm and I appreciate you all. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Floyd Mayweather Is FREE

Thank goodness for good behavior rules.  Boxer Floyd Mayweather was released from jail yesterday one month early.  And after all his complaints of not being able to work out like he wants to or eat gourmet food, he can go back to his life of luxury.  And yes, his bestie 50 Cent was there to welcome him home too, of course.

Good behavior pays off. After being admitted to the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas on June 1, Pretty Boy Floyd was released around midnight after serving 63 days of his 87 day sentence. All because he was a good resident of the jailhouse during his time.

FOX News Las Vegas reports his release time was 12:08am Friday.  Floyd was serving a 3-monthsentence after pleading guilty to the battery of his baby moms and misdemeanor domestic violence charges.  Check out video of Floyd leaving the detention center below:

Stevie J. And Joseline DISH on SEX, Stevie DOESN'T Want His Daughters To Date Men Like Him

Reality stars Stevie J and Joseline stopped by Hot 97 where they dished on their sex life, their "engagement" and Stevie revealed he didn't want his daughters dating a man like him.  Deets inside.....

 

Since it's the main issue that keeps them in the headlines, Stevie J. and Joseline Hernandez dropped by Hot 97 earlier to AVOID talking about their "engagement" and that mysterious yet painfully obvious ring on her finger. How convenient.

Did they come clean about anything?  Of course not.  Joseline told Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg that it's just a ring she wears but added that Stevie J. is off the market. While Stevie wouldn't admit to being off the market, he just added that he's about making money.  Love how side chicks are making decisions about a man's availability. Matter of fact, we're confused on who exactly is the side chick these days.

So why would a woman date a cheater and a liar like Stevie?  Joseline said, "I'm not tripping on Stevie and what he do because I love women too. I'll be right there with him."  So now we know they do threesomes.  And by the way, Joseline added that Stevie is great in bed and HE added that he's "long and strong."  How lovely.

But how do you cheat on a woman and keep her coming back for more? Stevie said "You just have to know yourself and how to deal with each situation."  I'm glad treating women like sh*t has become an art and goal of yours to accomplish Stevie.

When asked about "looking like a man" Joseline admitted that it really hurt her feelings because she'd never heard anything like that...but she's over it now. She added, "I think I'm perfect."

When talking about her bad English, she said, "I don't need English.....As long as Stevie speaks English and I speak Spanish we'll be ok."  Oh?

Stevie also said rumors that he got Tammy Grant (ex-wife of former NBA baller Gary Grant) pregnant are false. He says they run a business together.  Where have we heard that before?

Stevie also said he would never want his daughters to date a man like him.  Smartest thing this dude has said in the last 2 months.

SPOTTED: LaLa Gets Emotional After Carmelo BREAKS Olympic Record!

The fellas on Team USA's basketball team had a huge night yesterday in their Olympic game against Nigeria.  Records were getting shattered left and right.  And Carmelo Anthony--who is a 3 time Olympian--broke a big Olympic record.  And his wife LaLa was there to cheer him on.

Last night, Mr. Anthony shattered the record for the number of points in an Olympic game.  He had 37, beating Stephon Marbury's record setting 31 back in '04.  He also knocked down 10 3-pointers himself.

LaLa looked shocked and uber happy for her hubby and was spotted getting emotional in the crowd.

The team also broke the Olympic record for most points in a game with about half a quarter still to play, and set U.S. records for total 3-pointers, field goals and field-goal percentage.  Their score of 156-73 meant this team far surpassed the Dream Team's record of total points scored in one game.  The entire team was on fire...and their road to Gold is getting solid.

Bow Wow's BABY Mama's Sister ACCUSES Him Of Neglecting Daughter

The little sister of Bob Wow's baby mama has taken to Twitter to voice her frustration over the way Bow Wow doesn't actually father his child.  But likes to act like he does publicly. Deets inside..................

Najah Chavis. the little sister of Bow Wow's baby momma Joie Chavis, is accusing him of being a deadbeat.  She claims he's only seen his daughther a few times and don't provide for them with clothes, money. etc.

She revealed that Joie sends Bow Wow pics of the baby and he posts them (making it seem like he's a part of their lives).  She added that HER family is "holding down" her sister financially and in a number of other ways to fill his void.  She also called out Bo Wow's mom for allegedly only seeing her granddaughter 3 times.

TV stars made their rounds this AM on the morning & afternoon shows.  Check out the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" cast, Wendy Williams & Vivica Fox grabbing up that camera time inside....

K. Michelle, Stevie J. and Joseline posed it up outside of the Good Day New York's studio after they did some promo for the show.  We hear last night's reunion show taping was full of foolery.  So I'm sure you foolywang lovers are in for a treat.

Wendy Williams made a polka dotted appearance after leaving the Good Day New York studios as well this morning.  And she rocked her polka dotted pumps to make it a fun day.  Obviously she wants you to know her talk show returns to Fox with a new season September 10th.  Get ready...

And actress Vivica Fox was pretty in pink Alexander McQueen as she made her arrival to the taping of "Good Afternoon America".  She paired her curve hugging dress with a pair of Miu Miu sky blue pumps.

She caught up with D.L. Hughley at the show.

And signed autographs for fans after she left.

Future "American Idol" judge Mariah Carey has dropped her first new single in two years called “Triumphant (Get ’Em)” featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill. The single is the first off Mimi's upcoming yet-to-be-titled 14th studio album. 

During a press interview today with Mariah & Randy Jackson, Mariah revealed her inspiration behind the project saying:

“Triumph is what I was feeling at the time when I wrote it. Whitney had just passed and Nick was in the hospital, so these were very difficult times and writing this helped me through it.  Triumph is about self-expression."

The diva urged her fans to truly take the words to heart saying;

“Listen to the words of the song. There is so much you can get out of this, it is truly an inspirational song.”

Drake Speaks On Lawsuit With Managers, Goes Back To High School + Kanye Drops CRUEL SUMMER Album Cover

While he Instagrams his hookah session--complete with a pineapple--Drake spoke on all the drama going on with his managers getting sued by his "discoverer" Jas Prince.  He also revealed he's getting his high school diploma in Toronto this summer.

There's drama surrounding Drake's management and his homie Jas Prince who is credited with discovering him.  Jas claims the managers are stiffing both him and Drake on some funds.  So he filed a lawsuit.  And it had folks on the net wondering if Drizzy was setting up to jump the YMCMB ship.

Drake reassured his fans today tweeting:

Despite what your daily dose of bullshit may lead you to believe. I am forever about this Young Money team.

As for the lawsuit drama, Business Insider reports:

"A Houston music scion credited with discovering rapper Drake says the artist's managers are withholding his $100,000 cut of profits and are stiffing Drake, putting 'the entire Drake business in jeopardy.'"

In total, there are 10 claims against Drake's current manager Cortez Bryant, Gerald "Gee" Roberson, Derrick Lawrence and the firm Aspire Music Group LLC.

"Prince says he and Bryant agreed to split their share of Drake's profits. Drake has since sold millions of records and won numerous awards," reports CNS. "The parties allegedly tried to resolve their differences with a settlement agreement ... They were to receive 22 percent of Aspire's share of profits, 22 percent of Aspire's ownership share of Drake's master recordings, and 5 percent of Drake's gross pay, according to the lawsuit."

But Aspire Music Group has allegedly refused to pay accordingly, and now Prince wants the court to appoint a receiver and bar the defendants from renegotiating their contracts with Drake until they get paid.

Drake maintains he's got nothing but love for his Young Money team.  Meanwhile, he also told th Canadian publication NOW that he's spending his summer back in Toronto finishing high school.  Since he left with only 1 credit left a few years ago.

“I’m actually spending my summer graduating high school.  That’s my main focus after OVO Fest. I only have one credit left, and I’m really excited about that.”

Nice.

 

In other music news, Kanye West tweeted the new cover of his G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer.  Expect to see Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, John Legend, Big Sean and more on the album dropping September 4th.  "Mercy" & "New God Flow" are two of the tracks that will appear.

SPOILER ALERT:  The much anticipated Women's Gymnastics All-Around Finals took place today. And there's news out of London about who is taking home medals.  Find out inside...

 

Since NBC didn't make the good decision of airing Women's Gymnastics live on tv, folks who caught the live online feed know the results already. 

Gabby wins the GOLD! 

The amazingly talented (and quite adorable) US gymnast Gabby Douglas earned a place in the history books today as she walked away with the gold medal for the women's individual all-around competition at the 2012 Olympics in London.  

Gabby, aka The Flying Squirrel, took the lead after the very first event (the vault)...and NEVER let it go. She finished with a score of 62.232, about three-tenths ahead of Viktoria Komova of Russia. Aliya Mustafina from Russia won the bronze.  Aly Raisman, also TEAM USA, finished in fourth place. 

Gabby is now the first African-American woman to win gold in the women's all-around!  And she's only 16.  This is also her second Gold Medal as TEAM USA won first place in the Team Finals earlier this week.  NBC will air the competition on tv at 8p ET tonight.

Keyshia Cole appeared in all her black, white & blonde glory on "106 & Park" yesterday were she discussed her latest video "Enough of No Love" which we told posted yesterday.

She'll also appear on her another reality show we've been telling you about for the network called "Family First."

 

Miguel discussed his "Adorn" single and EP Kaleidoscope Dream: Water Preview.

 

Ne-Yo dropped by too.

And performed his latest single, "Lazy Love."

And talked about his album amongst other things.  Ne-Yo's been pumping that weight we see.  Very nice....

Tameka Raymond Claims Usher's Behavior Around Kile Glover's Death Is "Bogus", Only Visited Him ONCE In The Hospital!

In shocking new court docs, Tameka Raymond makes claims that Usher didn't care about her dead son Kile Glover and his attempts to postpone their court case are a "sham." Deets inside.....

Tameka Raymond has filed court docs, according to TMZ, that accuse Usher of using the death of her son, Kile Glover, to gain the sympathy of his fans and the media.   While Usher's lawyer asked the court to delay the next hearing because Usher felt the trial would cause "unnecessary stress and strain" for himself, Tameka and their two minor children "in the immediate wake of this tragedy," Tameka called the claim B.S.  

Usher himself fears Tameka will have a disadvantage, according to his claims, as the court may not rule against a grieving mother and he could lose custody of the children.

Meanwhile, in her responding docs, Tameka says Usher's claims of suffering "stress and strain" are "BOGUS."   "[Usher] visited Kile in the hospital only once" during his 15 days on life support, she said.

She also claims he refused to put out a tweet saying "Please pray for Kile", but did find time to tweet about his breakfast.   Sigh......

As it stands, Usher does not want to be in court on August 13 (their next date) but Tameka is geared up to start back fighting.  Tameka also says the only way she can heal is to put this custody battle behind her.

Last night, singer Wynter Gordon (shown with cutie Tristan Wilds) helped Hennessy unveil a limited edition bottle at Milk Studios Hollywood, California.   Interesting outfit.

Rapper Bun B made an appearance.

The ever-ecelctic Santigold performed at the event.  Loves her.

Jesse Williams of "Grey's Anatomy" was there looking yummy as all hell.

Funnyman Affion Crockett walked the black carpet.   He's been actively promoting his new comedy album ‘Watch the Clone.’

Also, actor Damien Dante Wayans supported the launch.  He currently working on a new show for BET called Second Generation, a comedy with Craig Wayans.
