| Britney Spears & Jason Trawick Show a United Front Posted: 01 Dec 2010 07:20 PM PST  Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick hop in his Mercedes and leave the William Morris Endeavor Entertainment Agency on Wednesday (December 1) in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 28-year-old pop star visited Jason at his office, the same day her team blasted a tabloid report claiming he was physically abusive towards her. Brit’s people called the report “irresponsible statements” and “defamatory” and said her lawyers would be taking legal action. FYI: Britney turns 29 tomorrow (December 2). Happy early birthday, Brit!!! |

Posted: 01 Dec 2010 06:20 PM PST  Fergie launches Avon Voices, the company’s first ever global online singing talent search and songwriting competition, at Avon Global Headquarters in NYC on Wednesday (December 1). The 35-year-old singer rocked a hot-pink Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo jacket and lace t-shirt with Helmut Lang leather leggings. She finished off her look with Fergie booties and Susie Fox jewelry. At the launch, Fergie posed with songwriter Diane Warren and Avon Products CEO Andrea Jung. Fergie and Diane will be judging videos submitted on the Avon Voices website. The two actors will also co-executive produce the film version of the hit ’80s TV series, which starred Johnny Depp and centered on young-looking cops who worked undercover in high schools and colleges. “Jonah helped create a smart and funny vehicle that is tailor-made for him and Channing. Check it: “Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false and Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of this story before it was published. The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years. The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney. This is just another example of the irresponsible nature of the tabloid media relying on shoddy sources and false information for the sole purpose of selling magazines, without regard to the truth and without regard to who they hurt in the process. The 29-year-old Burlesque singer insists they didn’t begin dating until after she filed for divorce six weeks ago. Here’s what Christina shared with People (via Daily Mail): On Rutler being the set assistant on Burlesque: “Matthew is a special person. We had a really strong friendship on the movie. He’s the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it’s daylight.” On not rushing into things: “Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy.” On Christina and Matthew’s relationship: “There’s a love there, yes. In a recording posted online, a clip purportedly featured audio of Britney speaking to ex-husband Jason Alexander. “I thought he proposed to you or something at the beach,” the male voice said, while “Britney” replied, “Before or after he beat on me?” Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, told Us Weekly that the recording is “not Britney” and that the story is “100 percent not true”. On growing up hoping to be an actor: “I was raised on a farm in Minnesota. Television and movies were our only escape. It was always a dream to be an actor and live in the city.” On what’s next for him: “Country Strong is coming out soon and I play a young country music singer, then later, On the Road where I play the character Dean Moriarty from the book. This has been a dream project. I have been cast for On the Road since 2007 and have been hoping for it to be made one day. Every day has been such an incredible experience. Working with [director] Walter Salles has just been incredible. This shoot has been the closest thing to a guerrilla-style shoot. We have been constantly moving from one city to another, from one country to another. It has been the experience of a lifetime.”

Darren Criss Interview — JustJared.comJJ: How has the past couple of weeks been like for you now that you’re a huge TV star? DC: It’s fundamentally crazy. Nothing has really sunk in, partially because when you’re doing television, there’s a disparity and disconnection. There’s no immediacy like in theater when you’re doing something and then everyone is experiencing it in real time. When you’re doing something like Glee, you do it, you disappear, and then even when I watch alone in my room, it’s like I don’t feel like this crazy machine that is Glee. The only way I feel like it is when I’m on the phone more, and a couple more meetings more, and busier than I was before. But it’s a blessing and the cool thing about being busy with the show is that it’s with a character that I really love, I’m really proud of, and capitalize each day so it’s busy for a good reason. I’m not like a crazy action villain in a blockbuster movie, it’s something that I can gladly take on cause it has to do with something so strong. JJ: With the success of your Human EP, are you working on a full-length album? DC: I would really like to! I was thinking of doing that even before Glee and that was something that was always going to happen. Glee was kind of complicated and good powers got that momentum because of the scheduling and things that you can and can’t do music-wise, but I have every intention to do an album at some point. JJ: What kind of album would you produce? DC: I go back and forth because I’m kind of a musical mercenary and in a sense I write for musical theater and that’s it’s own thing. And then there’s this folk thing, and I like writing for pop music and pop stars. When you’re making a record or any piece of art, you give as much as yourself on a huge canvas on whatever you can find and then you look at it. So I’m just curious if anybody who listens to my music — what it’s going to sound like. I think it’ll be very simple. No Gaga although I’d really like to make a record like her. JJ: With Kurt and Blaine, which duet would you want to cover personally? DC: Man, there’s so many great duets. I was so thrilled when we got to sing “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. I thought it was a great choice, classy song. It’s kind of a creepy song (laughs) but in context, I think it’s rather charming. They did a very great job with the arrangement and I think it’s going to be really hard to think of another duet to top that. I’ll think of something eventually, but right now I think I can get a lot of mileage out of that one. JJ: What’s your favorite duet in general? DC: They’re all obscure songs, it’d be weird. I’m a big Sondre Lerche fan and he has this song “Modern Nature”. It’s a beautiful song. If they want to celebrate a very under-the-radar song, that’d be really cool. But at this point, I’m just happy to get whatever. Beggars can’t be choosers! JJ: Do you have any Glee crushes? DC: I think everybody has a cool crush on Heather Morris simply because she’s so amazing at everything she does. She’s the one-line mistress and a fantastic dancer and everybody wants to hang out with her and be her basically, and by that I mean me. (laughs) We all just adore her because she’s so talented, very humble, and just a very wonderful person. JJ: Do you have any secret talents that you want us to know about? DC: I play mostly guitar, and I played drums for my brother’s band growing up. I grew up playing the violin which is basically how I expanded to other musical endeavors involving some of my violin training. I play a mean kazoo and harmonica if i have some alcohol in me. Of course I condone drinking and playing the harmonica at the same time cause it won’t sound good at all. (laughs) JJ: You have a show coming up in L.A. right? DC: I probably play a lot of shows in NY rather than LA, but I play quite often whether solo or with my band who are called the “Dot Dot Dot”. We’re playing December 18, tickets are sale on Ticketmaster and it should be fun cause it’ll be a new collection of the StarKid faithful and then new people that have been exposed to me through Glee. Here’s what the 24-year-old model - and ex of Madonna’s - had to share: On paying his dues as a model: "Nothing was ever handed to me. Even through my many connections, I still had to jump through lots of hoops to book jobs and to get to where I am now." On his first impressions of New York as a teenager: "I first came to New York City when I was 18 years old to learn English. I lived with my aunt and my uncle. It was a great experience because it was totally different from Rio de Janeiro. New York City is one of the most frenetic places in the world, in a good way, and it didn't take long for me to get addicted to the NYC hustle-and-bustle lifestyle." On why he chose to get a tattoo of his name across his shoulders: "About four years ago, I passed a tattoo shop and decided to do something spontaneous. I wanted something connected to my name but not necessarily about me as the focus. Yes, it is my name, but it has a double meaning. 'Jesus' means just that. And the Portuguese word 'Luz' is my family name, but it also means 'light.' Also it is significant in reminding me that some force is watching over me."
