Cutie Lance Gross was spotted getting a little Holiday shopping at The Grove yesterday.  He copped some home decor from Crate & Barrel.  My obsession with that place is something serious by the way.

Naomi Campbell made two party stops last night in London:

She hit the British Fashion Awards with her beau Validslav and her mom in this look only she could pull off.

And then she hit up Piers Morgan's CNN launch party and laughed it up with the host himself.

SPOTTED: Nene Laughs It Up For "George Lopez Show"

Nene Leakes was spotted making her grand entrance into the "George Lopez Show" yesterday.  The "ATL Housewife" was in L.A. for the taping, and she's looking a lot happier these days than what's playing out on the show currently.

She brought her bestie along for moral support as usual.

 

Here's Nene's clip where she's looking fab and discusses how pissy she is at her husband Greg, how much of a hot mess her co-stars are, her "Fakedra" nickname for Phaedra, and that she needs to do "Dancing With The Stars" because they need "a black girl like her" on the show.  FAKEdra.  Funny funny.

Bow Wow Speaks On Suicidal Thoughts+Swizzy & Alicia Adopt A Whole South African Village

Celebs aren't just adopting one kid from the African continent anymore.  Swizz Beatz dished that he and his wife Alicia Keys have adopted a village in Soweto, South Africa. After going there to film a process between a woman with AIDS and her daughter, the couple was so enamored with the large village, they pledged to build schools and other support for the people.

 

We've got the deets, plus Bow Wow clearing up his suicidal Twitter thoughts, when you read on...

The people of the village asked Swizz why rappers in America are always talking about killing each other when they have hot water and shoes on their feet and money and things no one in their village has.  And it was an eye opener. 

“I'm just sitting there, kicking it, talking to the locals. Mind you, they have no water, they have no heat, they have no electricity, [and] they have tin houses. So I'm speaking to this one guy...and he was like, ‘This is beautiful what [you're doing], but we have no water, we have no this, we have no that. We have no tools. How can we help better ourselves?’” said Beatz.

 

Since the encounter, the couple set up a meeting with the local government, which granted them approval to purchase containers, ultimately allowing residents access to heat and hot water. They have also started an education program for the men in Soweto in hopes that it will help them get jobs and build their village. Of the Soweto people, Beatz added, “Instead of being mad, disgruntled, ignorant [about their economic disadvantages], their vibe was like, super-Zen.”

Bow Wow hit up my girl Angie Ange's show over on D.C.'s WKYS this week.  And he dished about those crazy suicidal thoughts he was posting on Twitter a little while back.

On his suicidal threats

He compared himself to Macaulay Culkin in Richie Rich.  He says there's just times people won't let him just be himself, they always expect him to be ON.  Not Shad Moses.  Sometimes he just wants to shop at Target and not get criticized for it.  He didn't mean suicide literally, just needed to vent and say some days he really just wants to be Shad and not Bow Wow.

 

On Kat Stacks

He says he would never go back and forth with her on Twitter like other rappers have.  He's been in the game long enough to know the game.  So if baby girl needs to lie on rappers in order to make ends meet, he's not mad.  It's just entertainment.

 

On changing labels to Young Money/Cash Money

He said ihe just needed to protect his brand.  Columbia didn't have the tools to carry on his legacy--and he was the only rapper on the label.  They do well with the R&B solo artist like Beyonce, Maxwell, John Legend and others, but they didn't have the tools to connect to his younger fan base.  He got his deal with Cash Money done in a week.

 

On Raz-B molestation drama

A lot of these young cats didn't have guidance in the game.  He was around Snoop and Jermaine so he was never around suckas.  If it's serious allegations, there's a better way Raz could handle this situation.

The Hollywood Reporter's Annual "Power 100: Women In Entertainment Breakfast was held this morning at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

 

Once on the red carpet, Halle dropped her grey trench coat to reveal a smart suit and leopard handbag.

Then she posed with fellow Oscar winner Helen Mirren.

Lori McCreary arrived with Morgan Freeman.


 

And Anika Noni Rose wore a cute fur coat over a beige dress.

Inside, Halle was one of the event's presenters.

She later presented Helen Mirren with an award.

Kim Porter & Quincy Roll Around Tokyo + Rick Ross Responds To Chrisette Michelle

There was a big confusion between Rick Ross and Christette Michelle at the Soul Train Awards.  Chrisette popped off about Ricky skipping out after he lost an award, so they didn't perform as scheduled.  Find out what Rick Ross says about the 'beef' when you read on, plus pics of Kim Porter and her son Quincy out in Tokyo.

 

Rick Ross was pissed when he lost to Eminem in the best 'Hip Hop Song' category. Chrisette was reportedly supposed to perform 'Aston Martin Music' with Ross until he stormed out of the awards. She did an entire blog about is asking, "Who stands off at an award show?". You can read her  opinion here. 

Now, Rick Ross has responded to Chrisette's comments in the new issue of the Source magazine.  Here's the excerpt:

Your third hit single this year was “Aston Martin Music” featuring Drake and Chrisette Michele. It earned a bit of controversy after you left the Soul Train Awards without performing the record. Chrisette got upset, even tweeting “If this is the way of Hip-Hop is then I denounce it.” What happened?

Rick Ross: Basically, I had an opportunity to perform “Aston Martin Music,” which Def Jam put together. The day before the awards I went there for rehearsal…it was a lot of things going on onstage and for the first time, me being at an award show I had no input. It was a little uncomfortable. I just came from the BET Hip-Hop Awards [where I invited] MC Hammer down to the pyro stage. As a result, we were voted the number one performance at the awards. I wouldn’t risk that for a three-minute opportunity I’m not comfortable with.

The word coming from the show was that you were upset Eminem beat you in the Song Of the Year category and you stormed out.

Rick Ross: Not at all. I’ve been going to award shows for a long time and I’ve never had a problem with who won. I’m happy I’m recognized. We were in the trailer, going over these particular [performance] issues [with the shows producer]. Out of respect, we came back out there to give them a reaction to the nomination. They gave the award to Eminem. I applauded. Big Record. That wasn’t the issue. Like I said, the things we requested weren’t met. It had nothing to do with Chrisette Michele. It may have had to do with me not knowing the other 50 people that were onstage at [rehearsal] and we doing my record.

Have you talked to Chrisette?

Rick Ross: I haven’t spoken to Chrisette Michele or her team. but I didn’t speak to her to [invite her to] the show either. It was something maybe the label set up. [But] her choice of words were ugly. Denouncing Hip-Hop, that ain’t cool. Using ugly words could give off the wrong impression. That could make your hat look ugly to me now. That could make your haircut look ugly to me now. Hopefully if we win a Grammy, she’ll come out and accept it with your boy. Give me a kiss on the cheek.

Remember Q Parker Of 112? Well He Looks & Sounds Like THIS Now...

Q Parker, formerly of 112, is back in the mix.  And now he has a brand new 2011 fitness calendar he's selling that shows off his shirtless and sexy self.

 

Pics and details and Youtubery of him singing a Nicki Minaj song (*eyebrows raised*) when you read on...

Damn.  This chocolately fineness has been married to his wife Sharlinda for a few years now.  And I see how they're keeping it hot and fresh.  These are a few images from Q's upcoming fitness calendar he's releasing for the new year, all shot by photographer Allen Cooley.

And it's for a good cause too.  The 12-month wall calendar features eye catching photos of Q in all of his workout glory, along with workout tips, healthy facts and motivational quotes.  A portion of the proceeds from the calendars will be donated to fund prostate, breast and ovarian cancer research and prevention.

Q is stlll performing by the way.  He's been traveling and performing around the world.  Yesterday, he headed to Australia, the UK and Germany for a 30 day live performance tour with bandmate, Michael Keith of 112.

He's releasing a solo album entitled “Q Parker: The Manual" next year.  And here's some Youtubery of him singing his cover of Nicki Minaj's "Right Thru Me" for his fans recently:

Reunited and it feels so....super.  Kandi Buruss has reunited with her former Xscape groupmate Tameka "Tiny" Cottle on her new album.  "Superwoman" is their brand new track off Kand's upcoming Kandi Coated album.

Amber Rose Shops & Hops In Her Lambo+Willow Smith & J-Hud Set For Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve

Amber Rose is still shopping it up all around town these days.  She didn't let her recent back injury stop her from hitting up Barney's in Beverly Hills and then speeding off in her Lamborghini.

Amber's been stuck in bed for days.  But not for a good reason.  She tweeted:

“Hey my Loves….been in the bed my back is killing me the Doc said I don’t have Kidney stones but I might have a slipped disk smh."

And Willow Smith is doing one of her biggest live sets yet.  She's been tapped to perform for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve special on 12/31 night alongside Jennifer Hudson and host Fergie from L.A.  Other folks doing the L.A. sets are Drake, Ne-Yo, Natasha Bedingfield, Jason Derulo, and others.

Menwhile, Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy are hosting the NYC Times Square broadcast and those performers will be announced this week.  It all kicks off Friday, Decmber 31st at 10p EST on ABC.
