Tyra Banks Dishes On New Book & New All-Star "Top Model"

Tyra Banks is taking smizing to another level.  She wrote a fantasy adventure novel she revealed she would do a few months ago.  And today on "Good Morning America," she revealed the cover, details, attending Harvard, and deets on the upcoming "all-star" season of "Top Model."

Tyra dished about idolizing Walt Disney and his vision for entertainment.  So she's forming her own entertainment empire--in addition to what she's already done with her former talk show and "Top Model"--to bring model fabulousness to everyone.

Her book, Modelland, is a fictional novel based on the fantasy and secrets and the allure of modelling.  And it drops September 17th.  She told Robin Roberts this morning that she worked on it for 5 years.  And it's the first in a series of 3 novels.

And she's currently in Harvard Business School--where she had to live in the dorms--perfecting her business craft.  She also dished that this is the 17th season of "America's Next Top Model" (DAMN-who knew!).  And the upcoming 18th season is going to be an all-star season made up of girls from Season 1 on.

Pharrell Williams Hosts Qream Launch Party In NYC With Selita Ebanks, Swizz Beatz And Q-Tip

We told you earlier about Pharrell's Qream Liqueur party in L.A., and last night he hosted one in New York attended by Tyson Beckford, Swizz Beatz and Selita Ebanks. See the pics inside....

Last night, Pharrell Williams hosted a Qream Liqueur launch party in NYC and Selita Ebanks was among the fab guests.

This was the east coast version of his earlier launch party for his new premium beverage aimed at the ladies.

He posed with Q-Tip during his arrival.

And once inside, he and Q-Tip posed with Swizz Beatz.

He also posed with famed jewelry designer to the stars Lorraine Schwartz.

Melyssa Ford attended the party and she posed with Little X.  Cute shoes.

N.O.R.E. was there too.

Ashanti's little sis, Shia Douglas was there.  Are we feeling this outfit?

Speedy and Meeka Claxton attended.


 

Tyson Beckford.....does he age?  He looks no different from when he was doing Polo ads in the 90s.

Beyonce Changes Baby Goal To 40, Dishes About Re-Living Wedding For Video

Beyonce re-lived her wedding--likely not exactly though--for all of us to see in her newest video for "Best Thing I Never Had."  And she dished about what it was like to relive that special day.  She also dropped a little nugget about dropping some babies.

Access Hollywood was on the scene at Beyonce's video set.  And she dished about her new baby goal--which used to be 30--and why her wedding scenes in the new vid were a bit strange.  About the age she wants to start a family she says:

“Forty, that’s a good one.  Before I hit the age of 40, I’d love to have some children. I would love to direct, continue to learn videos and maybe by then a film, a short film… I love documentaries.

I just hope that I’m happy and into my children and well-adjusted and still making music, if that makes me happy at that time."

And about that wedding in her new video.  While Bey says it was less stressful than her REAL wedding to Jay-Z years ago, it was a bit more crazy.  The prom scene in the video she says was not real and she didn't even go to her own prom.  But when she put on her dark hair again she felt like she was transporting back to that time.

“It was a little strange.  And definitely when I walked down the aisle I was like, ‘This is kind of creepy — there’s some other man standing there!’

“It was an amazing Barachi dress that I saw in the window maybe a year ago when I was at the Grammys,” she told Access of the exquisite gown. It was just like a beautiful fantasy, so we called and they still had the dress.”

“It was really beautiful.  People were all really excited like it was really my wedding. My mother was even like, ‘Aww,’ and I was like, ‘Mom, it’s a video. This is not my dress. This is not the real wedding.’ But I think it’s just one of those moments that every woman kind of fantasizes and relives.”

The tiara she wore was actually a Lorraine Schwartz necklace her mom turned into a headpiece instead.  Check out the video above.

Bey & "Run The World (Girls)" was just been nominated for three MTV VMAs: Best Female Video, Best Choreography, and Best Cinematography.

 

Kanye West Tops 2011 VMA Awards Nominees With 7 Nods, Beyonce & Nicki Minaj Score 3

The 2011 MTV VMA Awards were announced yesterday with Katy Perry, Adele and Kanye West leading the pack of nominees.  Come inside to see  how many nods Beyonce and Nicki Minaj got.

 

The ladies run this mutha.  Katy Perry reigns supreme this year, topping the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards with 9 nods for Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Special Effects and the biggie, Video of the Year, for her smash "Firework" clip.

Adele also got 7 nods including Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for "Rolling In The Deep."

She is followed by Kanye West who garnered 7 nods for "All of the Lights" and "Power," including Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video and two shots at Best Collaboration for his Rihanna and Kid Cudi hook-up for "Lights" and his cameo in Perry's "E.T."

Bruno Mars scored 4 nods with "Grenade" including Video of the Year, Best Pop Video and Best Male Video.

Beyonce and Nicki Minaj both got three nominations. Bey's nods include Best Choreography and Best Cinematography for "Run the World (Girls)," while Nicki's "Super Bass" video earned Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Female Video nods.

Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean picked up nominations for Best Hip-Hop Video and Chris Brown also finds himself among the nominees with 2, plus the song "My Last" he's featured on with Big Sean.

The awards air live on August 28 at 9 p.m. ET. Will you be watching?

MUSIC FAB: Kanye & Jay-Z Drop "Otis" From "Watch The Throne"

As the drop date approaches, Jay & Kanye decided to release a track off their much anticipated Watch The Throne album.  This one's called "Otis."  And we've got it under the cut...

 

"Otis" features late soul legend of the 60's Otis Redding.  His voice is infused in the hook as Big Brother & Little Brother drop their verses.

The album drops August 1st (digital) and August 5th (in stores).

SIDEWALK CATWALK: Rihanna Hits Up A Meeting In NYC, Fondles Her Mama At Her Concert

Rihanna was spotted heading to a meeting at the Def Jam offices in Manhattan today after her concert at Nassau Coliseum last night.  Pics of her rocking her sheer white button-down and jeans, and joking around with her mom and grandma backstage last night, when you read on...

Rihanna spent her day off today rocking her sexy version of jeans and a white shirt with her nude pumps and a Fendi clutch today while hitting up a meeting in NYC:

Nice.  Her next stop is the IZOD Center in New Jersey on Thursday. So she rolled by her label Def Jam's offices to plan for her fall promo, according to her Twitter.  She also showed she's a BieberBabe:

 

 

And while on stage last night on her Long Island stop of the LOUD tour, she shouted out her mom, Monica Fenty, and grandma for being in the audience.  She told the crowd while laughing, "My mom and my grandma are here tonight!  I'm a bad b*tch...but those are some badder b*tches.  I'm scared of them."

RAP ROYALTY: GUESS WHO'S MY DADDY

While the young lady featured above was on MTV's "Sweet Sixteen" and "Exiled," she's also known as the daughter of one of the pioneers of "gangsta rap."  Can you guess who her hip-hop legend daddy is?

The father of the young lady above helped create the gangsta rap genre along with Ice Cube.  Guess?

 

It's E.B. Wright, the daughter of the late Eazy-E!  In these pics, she was spotted kicking it with Juicy J of Three-6-Mafia (who is rocking an Eazy-E tee). We hear she is in the studio working on her own musical project.

Usher, Eva Marcille, DJ Paul At The HTC Status Social Launch + Kelly Rowland Releases "Feelin' Me Right Now" & Guest Stars On VH1's "Single Ladies"

Last night, DJ Paul and Eva Marcille caught an Usher performance during the HTC Status Social launch event.  See pics inside and listen to Kelly Rowland's new single and watch a clip of her on an upcoming episode of "Single Ladies."

Last night, "HTC Status Social"  threw a launch event with a special concert performance by Usher at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
 

Maybe it was a bad camera angle but Usher looked tired on the green carpet...and he hadn't even hit the stage yet.

 

Actress Tiffany Hines attended the launch.

Actress Kimberly Elise was there too.

Former "Girlfriends" star Jill Marie Jones was also in attendance.

Dawn Robinson of En Vouge supported the event.
 

Denyce Lawton was there.

Eva Marcille rocked a corset and looked fab.

Eva Marcille was joined by her girls Denyce Lawton, Nikki Chu and Kelly Marie Dunn at the event.

Rosa Acosta also brought a few of her girlfriends out.

DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia was there too....lookin a little scary.

Towards the end, Usher hit the stage and entertained the crowd.

With Kelly's Here I Am album hitting stores on Tuesday, she's released another song to radio called "Feelin' Me Right Now." 

On the Rico Love produced track, Kelly sings about not needing anyone but herself.  She says she's Bonnie and she's Clyde.

PHOTOSHOOT: Foxy Brown Readies For An ILL Comeback

Oh Foxy.  She's back with a colorful photoshoot where she looks like she had lots of fun shooting.  Almost-nip-slips and all.

 

We've got her brand new photoshoot and what she's been up to inside...

After getting a pass from a NY judge last week for that "mooning" charge of hers, Fox Boogie Brown hit the photoshoot studio to snap some flicks...in that same damn Wet-n-Wild silvery purple lipstick.  And here's the result:

She rocked a bright pink and purple skull print dress with a hot pink bra for one set of shots.  And a silver leotard with black fishnets for another.  Oh...and a fat diamond ring on her engagement finger.  Not sure if this is fashion jewelry for the shoot or if chick is actually about to get wifed up by someone.  Hmmm.

 

Uh oh.  Watch those areolas Fox!
