The annual TIME 100 Most Influential People list was released and there are a lot of familiar names, like Miley Cyrus, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Pharrell Williams, just to name a few! However, the internet has exploded with rage because the AH-MAZE Lupita Nyong'o and the absolutely beautiful Laverne Cox were NOT included on the list! But, you say, doesn't TIME choose the people they include, so they don't really have a reason to be mad? WRONG! The annual Most Influential People list has a public voting period that lets people show the editor's who they want on the list! Then, after the voting period, the editors choose their picks! Well, what's angering everyone is that Laverne and Lupita got the highest percentage of YES's in the entire poll! AND the Orange is the New Black actress had the highest number of voters second only to Benedict! This post from Tumblr explains the whole thing:

Selena Gomez didn't just unfollowed her Coachella buddies Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner on the social media app, she's also unfriended them in real life! But why WOULDN'T she want to be friends with the reality TV royals?! Apparently on-again off-again BF Justin Bieber is enough of bad influence on Selena's life because she thinks the K duo are an ultra negative distraction from her music making. Her musical desert weekend with the sisters — and their rumored drugs and booze— made her realize just how sick and tired she is of Hollywood's hard partyin' scene. Ummm... ...does she realize Biebs is the prince of reckless behavior?? Anyway, there is no doubt we won't be seeing the pretty trio having gal pal time ever again. Cara is ready to make take another turn in acting in Pan. After making her theatrical debut in 2012's Anna Karenina, Michelle Rodriguez's GF has landed a small role in Joe Wright's adaptation of the children's story Peter Pan. Cara will appear alongside Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Levi Miller as Pan, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily and Amanda Seyfried as Mary. In this retelling, Pan is swept away from the battles of World War II to Neverland and discovers he is destined to conquer Blackbeard! While her role has yet to be revealed, it just so happens that Tinkerbell has yet to be officially cast and we could TOTALLY see Cara in that sweet little green tutu! HA! After all, if anyone can rock tulle in style, it would be Cara! And Joe must also agree with our crush on the leggy babe because he has also cast her in the 17th century romantic drama Tulip Fever. Sounds epic, right??! If Cara is even partially as charming on the big screen as she is on the runway, we are sure this is just the beginning of her new movie star status!!! Congratz, gurl! |
