EVENT FAB: Celebs Do ATL LIVE ON THE PARK + Ne-Yo's Celebration Dinner For "Battle: Los Angeles"

Last night, Atlanta played hosted to Jagged Edge and Kelly Price who kicked off the second season of the ATL LIVE ON THE PARK showcase series.  Get the deets inside and see Ryan Leslie and Fabolous at Ne-Yo's celebration dinner...

 

Former Destiny's Child singer Latavia Roberson looked great at the event.  She was there to support her longtime beau Brandon Casey of Jagged Edge.

 

ATL LIVE ON THE PARK was hosted by Kenny Burns who posed with Chaka Zulu above.

 

The showcase was founded by Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols.  Shanti posed with Jagged Edge who headlined.


Ludacris was in the building, and he posed with Kelly Price.

Kelly sang her power ballad "Tired".  She is currently working on her sixth album, Kelly, and will be performing at the 2011 Essence Fest.

Reality tv husband Peter Thomas was there. WOnder how he and Cynthia are doing.

 

RL of the group Next was there too.

Jazze Pha posed for the cameras.

And Miss Lawrence chilled at the event.  He is something else....

Designer Mychael Knight enjoyed the show.

Ne-Yo hosted a celebration dinner for his new #1 movie he appears in, Battle: Los Angeles, at Phillipe Chow.

He was joined by Fabolous and Ryan Leslie.

I se Adrienne and Fab are still constantly together.  We're  not sayin'...but we're just sayin'...

BESTIE DINNER: Kelly, Serena, Ciara, LaLa, & Kim K. Wine & Dine In L.A.

It was a massive bestie dinner last night STK in L.A.  Ciara, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, LaLa Anthony, and Brittny Gastineau (not pictured) all got dolled up for a paprazzi stroll before their wine-and-dine session.

Ciara showed off her killer gams in this cute black mini dress with a lace overlay bodice and her black Louboutin pumps as she hit up STK last night.  She was spotted walking in with her girl Kim Kardashian--and is it me or do these two look even more identical than before?  Scary.

A patched up Serena arrived with her girl Kelly Rowland.  Both ladies donned black looks with leggings.  Shouldn't Serena be home resting so there's not yet another complication while she's healing?  Or maybe she's finally out of the woods....

Not feeling Kelly's wig this time around, but she's a fab chick nonetheless.

I guess the paps did a 6 for 1 special once they were called up to snap their pics.  Everybody likes a deal....

FRESH FACE: Lauryn Hill's Daughter Selah Gets Cutesy For TEEN VOGUE

Looks like we have another YBF Kid star on the rise.  Jaden, Willow, Romeo, Zoe and all the other kid stars of industry vets may get another spawn in their circle.

 

We've got Lauryn Hill's 12-year-old daughter Selah Marley and her first contributing effort for Teen Vogue--and she wants to be a singer like her famous mom and dad.  Her snapshot from the mag when you read on...

 

In the April 2011 issue of Teen Vogue, model Selah Marley, the talented kid of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, served as a guest contributor and dished on her love for singing....and Justin Bieber.

Selah wants her own record deal, and fitting a singing career around her schoolwork, extracurriculars, family, and friends.  And when Bob Marley is your granddad--of course you're destined to be musically inclined.

CAUGHT ON TAPE: Suge Knight Swings On A Casino Gambler

Suge Knight was involved in yet another casino scuffle this weekend.  This dude will never learn.

TMZ reports that hidden cameras captured hip-hop producer Suge Knight taking swings at an unidentified man this weekend at a Las Vegas casino.  The incident happened Saturday night at the Aria Hotel where an eyewitness said a man walked up to Suge and challenged him saying, "I can take you."

Suge took a few swings at the man and cops arrived shortly thereafter to break up the incident.  No charges were filed and a representative for the hotel declined comment saying, "Due to guest privacy policies, I am unable to confirm information about guest activities in our hotel."

R.I.P. Rapper Nate Dogg

Legendary West Coast performer Nate Dogg passed away at the age of 41 last night.  Get the deets inside...

 

The family of legendary West Coast rapper Nate Dogg announced his death last night.  There have been reports for several months now that he was barely holding on due to his health.

Although the cause of death is unknown, The Press Telegram in Long Beach, CA reports that Nate suffered two strokes previously, one in 2007 and another in 2008. 

When one of his biggest collaborators, Snoop Dogg, heard about the death, he tweeted:

"We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986... I miss u cuzz I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up wit u and I will c u again n heaven cuz u know d slogan all doggs go to heaven..."

Nate, who made his name crooning over some of West Coast rap's biggest hits, topped the pop charts with the classic "Regulators" with Warren G in 1994.

Magazine Fab: Rihanna Opens Up To "Vogue" About Her Father's Betrayal

In the latest issue of VOGUE Magazine, Rihanna opens up to the magazine about her father's betrayal, all for cash.  And she's grown to love her curves.  An inside look into Rih's VOGUE interview inside...

 

  

In the April issue of Vogue magazine, Rihanna reveals that her father has betrayed her to the tabloids, selling stories and childhood photos.  A mess.  

She says:

“It really makes me question what I have become to my father. Like, what do I even mean to him? …..It’s really strange. That’s the only word I can think of to describe it, because you grow up with your father, you know him, you are a part of him, for goodness’ sakes! And then he does something so bizarre that I can’t begin to wrap my mind around it. You hear the horror stories about people going behind people’s backs and doing strange things, but you always think, Not my family. My father would never do that to me.”

But RiRi says she was really upset when her dad, Ronald Fenty, spoke to press about Chris Brown after their incident.  

“That was the first time…..My dad went to the press and just told them a bunch of lies. Because he hadn’t talked to me after…that whole thing…. He never called to find out how I was doing, if I was alive, nothing. He just never called. He went straight to the press and got a check. And now he does it again.”

I can't even imagine a father not reaching out to his daughter who was abused?  Rihanna seems to have washed her hands of the situation saying, “Now I’m like, Whatever, I tried.”

But on a happier note, Rih Rih spoke about coming to love her figure:

"Over the holidays, and even during filming, I realized that I actually like my body, even if it's not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don't want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it's not unhealthy, so I'm going to rock with it."

FINALLY: Chris Brown Talks Openly About Leaked Nude Pics

For those of you who are still wondering (for whatever reason) if the leaked photo of Chris Brown nude were real or not, Chris is addressing the controversy inside for the first time.  Get the deets on what Chris said in a recent interview when asked about the pics inside...

 

C Breezy stopped by our homies over in Big Boy's Neighborhood to talk about this nude pic of him that is currently floating around the web.

When asked by the radio crew about the pics, Chris said the pics are indeed of him.  He says he was fresh out the shower one day and he decided to treat a lady friend to a sneak peek of his goodies.

And as they cracked jokes, Chris joined in the fun saying he is not ashamed of his body and does not regret the pics.  But he did point out he wasn't fully...a attention...in the pic either. No need to be ashamed boo....no need.

So there you have it...Breezy fans can now say they know what he is packing.

Jada, Willow, & Jaden Smith Do Dinner With Justin Bieber+Melanie Fiona's New "Gone and Never Coming Back" Vid

Willow Smith and her big brother Jaden were spotted heading to dinner with their other "brother" Justin Bieber tonight in London.  While pops Will kicks it around NYC, mama Jada took the kiddies out for the night across the pond.

Siblings Jaden and Willow hopped out their car to head to dinner with mom and Justin Bieber tonight in London:

Biebs (not pictured) is across the pond performing, and the Smith kids are toting around with him popping up at his shows as well, as Willow is his show opener.

ON THE SET: YBF "Charlie's Angel" Star Annie Ilonzeh Gets Wet At Work

We reported weeks ago that the "Charlie's Angels" franchise just copped their first black Angel.  She's actress Annie Ilonzeh, and the fab chick was spotted on set on her very wet first day in Miami yesterday.

27-year-old Annie and her co-stars Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor hit the brand new Miami set of the new "Charlie's Angels" tv show.  The 70's remake is being shot in the tropical southern city instead of L.A. like the original, since the ABC bosses wanted a little originality.

Annie, who currently stars on soap "General Hospital" and also guest starred on the threesome episode of "The Game" a couple weeks ago, plays "Kate"--an ex-cop who is a martial arts master.

She shot her yacht scenes and kicked it with co-star Minka and their pups:

 


 

Drew Barrymore--who starred in the 2 hit movie remakes--is executive producing the series.  According to the Daily Mail:

The show is being executive produced by Drew Barrymore who starred in the 2000 film and its 2003 sequel alongside Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz.

There will be a couple of differences to the original series, including a different crime every episode instead of a continuing story throughout the series.

It will also be set in Miami and not Los Angeles, as writer Alfred Gough explained: 'Sun and surf are in the Charlie’s Angels DNA.

'But we didn’t want to revisit Los Angeles, since that was done in both the original TV series and the movie series.'

He also explained his reason for re-visiting the show and added: 'It's about friendship, and you only have to deal with your boss via speakerphone. The appeal is timeless.'

Looks like it could be good.  Love seeing fresh and fab faces on tv.  Congrats to Annie!

Daddy's Girl: Zoe Kravitz's New "Rolling Stone" Photoshoot

Being the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, you would expect Zoe Kravitz to be funky, beautiful and perhaps a little bit offbeat.  And guess what....she is all those things.  The actress/wild child recently talked to Rolling Stone about her upcoming projects and we have the deets inside...

 

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, the mag profiles Zoe Kravitz as one of its hottest breakout stars of 2011.  The multi-talented performer, who fronts a punk band called Elevator Fight, will soon be seen in her highest profile role yet, starring as Angel Salvadore in X-Men: First Class.

With the movie hitting theaters in June, we will be seeing a lot of the self-described "giant theater geek." 

She's already played a prostitute in The Brave One, and a wayward teen in Yelling To The Sky....so what's next?  Outside of X-Men, Zoe says you won't see anything predictable from her because she doesn't like bubblegum parts.  And with her favorite actor being Gene Wilder (of Willy Wonka fame) and Anchorman as one of her favorite movies, expect to see a long list of quirky roles in her future.
