Dost our eyes deceive us?? Nay! Tis wondrous news!

Remnants of the lost Curtain Theatre - one of the first sites believed to be where William Shakespeare's work was featured, hath been discovered 'neath East London's streets!

The venue was de-constructed in the 17th century, and is thought to have been where Shake-a-speare's famed Romeo and Juliet and Henry V were first performed...

If you are not familiar with Sir Shakespeare, then we beseech thou! Prithee pick up a book and get edumacated!

Washington's Legalization Of Gay Marriage Has Been BLOCKED By Haters!

Ugh!

We were so THRILLED when we heard that Washington state had legalized gay marriage and that the law would take effect on June 7, but our hearts have been broken by 200,000 people who are afraid of change.

The proposed law that would have made the state the seventh in the U.S. to allow same-sex marriage was passed by legislators AND Gov. Chris Gregoire in February. Unfortunately, opponents have filed a petition with enough signatures that will force the state to let the public vote on it.

The worst part of this mess is that national organizations opposing same-sex marriage will be spending buckets of money to sway the state's public opinion toward their dated beliefs, which means people supporting the issue will be forced to do the same.

It's funny that everyone is so concerned about the economy and national debt these days, but people are willing to waste MILLIONS to prevent the positive change that this country needs and will eventually get.

Just like womens' right to vote, civil rights for African Americans, and the right for white people to marry people with different colored skin (yeah, that used to be illegal too for some dumb reason), members of the same sex WILL be able to get married anywhere in the country one day.

While we wish people would just hurry up and accept it already, we know the LGBT community has a VERY bright future in the United States of America!

Demi Moore Has A Dinner Date With RockSugar!

Just days before her daughter Scout got arrested for her partying ways, Demi Moore was seen having a grand ol' time on Sunday night!

The actress was spotted at RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen in El Lay with a group of friends, as they mingled the night away!

An onlooker said:

"The entire group [seemed] in high spirits, laughing and appearing to enjoy their night out."

Demi and her seven pals ordered everything from green curry chicken to potstickers and were reportedly "extremely friendly to the waitstaff and other guests."

Sounds like Mz. Moore is doing much better these days! We hope the cougar continues down the path of good health and happiness!

Chris Rock Busts On Breezy, Chills With Elmo On Today

Chris Rock is NOT afraid to speak his mind!!

On Thursday's Today, Al Roker inadvertently spoke about weather "hitting you" just as the show cut to an image of Chris Brown teasing his Friday appearance.

Ruh-roh!

With another guest, the irony of using a violent metaphor over an image of someone still on probation for the felony assault of Rihanna might have gone unmentioned.

Rock is happy to tell it like it is, though.

Watch the video (above) to see a HIGHlarious anti-Breezy rant with Matt Lauer and friends too afraid to question it because they know Brown will be on the show TOMORROW!!

Thankfully, Elmo was also on set to help reclaim the more family friendly tone Today is traditionally known for!!

Lindsay Lohan: No Gotti For Me!!

Surprise! Surprise!

Even though we thought Gotti was long-dead, especially after John Travolta's masseur scandal, looks like the film is still on and ready for production after all!

...but not Lindsay Lohan!

The actress' rep, Steve Honig, explains:

"I can confirm that Lindsay has not signed on to be a part of the John Gotti movie, nor is she in talks to join the cast.

It does not look like an agreement can be made. Lindsay's representatives and film producers were unable to come to an agreement. Lindsay has the utmost respect for [director] Barry Levinson and the producers and hopes to work with them in the future and wishes them all the best."

Always such a class act, that man!

We weren't exactly betting on Linds joining the film anymore, but it's always nice to have confirmation!!

Besides, she's too busy playing Elizabeth Taylor and having nip-slips to focus on anything else right now!! ;)

While never making light of drunk driving or alcohol addiction, Anderson Cooper finds Amanda's Twitter feed to be ridiculistly devoid of significance!!

He would rather take time to congratulate Miley and Liam Hemsworth's engagement or give props to waterskiing squirrels, LOLz!!

Aretha Franklin R-E-S-P-E-C-T-E-D With Princeton Doctorate!

Who knew when a little bundle of love was born on March 25, 1942 in Memphis, TN that she'd one day become the Queen of Soul??

...AND! AND!

She'd also become an honorary graduate from Princeton University with a doctorate!

It's true! Aretha Franklin was one of the six people to receive an honorary degree from the Ivy League university.

Stephen Oxman, the university's orator and trustee, presented the honor with great enthusiasm:

"With her singular Amazing Grace, she continues to traverse musical bridges over troubled water, and by reminding us to think, do right and call on her, the Queen of Soul will forever command the world's R-E-S-P-E-C-T."

WERK. IT. GURL.

We're so proud of her. With as much as she knows about music and the industry, she definitely deserves a doctorate from the college, that's for sure!

These will go great with the ones she received from Berklee College of Music and Yale University! Ha!

Lauryn Hill Lost One Against the Government!

Uh oh!

Somebody's in some deep shiz with the IRS...!

Reportedly, rapper/singer extraordinaire Lauryn Hill has been added to the laundry list of stars who failed to file their income taxes!

Over the three years -- 2005, 2006 and 2007 -- that Lauryn didn't file, she earned $1.6 million, coming mainly from royalties from music and film!!

Lauryn's now scheduled to appear in court at the end of the month in Newark, on June 29.

If the court chooses to convict her of the charges, she could be looking at one year prison time and $100,000 fine for each year!

Perhaps she can use her check from the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert as part of the payment???

U definitely don't wanna mess with the government, L Boogie!
