Cyndi Lauper was pulled over with her camera crew in NYC recently, but it didn't take a heart-warming rendition of We Are the World to convince the cop to let them off scot-free! Apparently, the cop showed his true colors once he realized who he pulled over! Sources revealed: "[Cyndi's] SUV was pulled over by the NYPD for a routine check. After seeing Lauper in the car with a crew, the officer told them he was in the TV business for a decade before he chose to join the NYPD." The singer has received a barrage of anti-gay tweets, including: "I warned @carrieunderwood fans that their idol was going to get backlash for her support of marriage perversion and I was right! #asusual" "@carrieunderwood Is a disgrace. Being vegan and supporting gay marriage doesn't seem very country at all." "Another day, and a another "gospel" artist signed to "EMI" comes out supporting gay marriage.@carrieunderwood Unequally signed to the devil" The devil? A disgrace? Srsly?? We ALL have the right to speak up for what we believe in, and we should be able to do it without being bullied!! The Pentagon Is Planning A LGBT Pride Event This Month! Posted: 15 Jun 2012 12:40 PM PDT LGBT pride is sweeping the country! Next stop? The Pentagon! In a statement issued on Thursday, a spokesperson revealed the Department of Defense is holding its very FIRST gay pride event EVER later this month! Yayyyyy! While speaking on behalf of Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta, Navy Capt. John Kirby told sources: "Now that we've repealed 'don't ask, don't tell,' he feels it's important to find a way this month to recognize the service and professionalism of gay and lesbian troops." Change is HERE, folks! And we expect it to keep on coming too. We couldn't be more thrilled that the government is finally honoring a group of minorities that, up until last year, were unable to disclose their sexuality. What Really Happened To Lindsay When She Was Found Unconscious! Posted: 15 Jun 2012 12:25 PM PDT Because everyone is saying a lot of different things, this is what we know: This morning, Lindsay Lohan was due to be on set for her new movie Liz & Dick, but around 10 a.m, she was nowhere to be found. Then, Lindsay called someone from the production and told them she wasn't feeling well. Immediately, a private doctor was sent to check on her. Before he arrived, he made a call to the hotel and asked them to send someone up to check on her. When they went to the door, Lindsay was "unresponsive," some the staffer called 911. As her rep pointed out early, having fallen ill and feeling exhausted after two days of shooting, Lindsay had fallen asleep -- hence why she didn't answer the door. Because the staff couldn't get in, the paramedics were immediately called ... which is when everyone learned that Lindsay was fine. However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's office described Lohan's condition as "groggy," but added that she's "OK as far as we know. Her rep later added that LiLo is suffering "some exhaustion and dehydration." Overworked, apparently sick and probably a little more than embarrassed now ... but still fine. Katy Perry! In Person!! Signing autographs, handing out high-fives, and even showering her audience with compliments!! Katy told her fans: "You guys are all so cute, even all the way to the back!" Ugh! We're so jealous we weren't there!! Katy's guest appearance delayed the start of the touching documentary about fifteen minutes but we bet all the melted popsicles in the world that not a single person complained, LOzL!! Posted: 15 Jun 2012 12:20 PM PDT In light of Lindsay Lohan's unconscious emergency scare, rep Steve Honig has issued a statement, saying: "Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 pm and worked through the night until 8 am this morning. She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution. Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration. Lindsay Lohan gave the world quite a scare today as it was reported that paramedics were called to her Marina Del Rey penthouse after she was found unconscious. However, the truth of the matter, according to her rep, is that Lindsay is safe and sound and in perfect health. Moments ago her attorney Shawn Holley released a statement on the news, saying: "As I understand it, she was exhausted, after shooting non-stop for 2 days. Someone called paramedics, for reasons which are unclear. They determined that she was fine." Still doesn't sound FINE to us! If she's been working too hard, then she needs a break -- ASAP! She had been filming Liz & Dick non-stop for the past two days. Once she finally went to bed, she apparently went into a deeeeep sleep, noticed by her friends when they failed to wake her up.
