FASHION FAB: Solange Knowles & Julez GET FAB For Stella McCartney's 2012 Spring Carnival Party + NeNe Leakes LANDS New Clothing Line!!??

Solange Knowles and her son Daniel Julez Smith were spotted at the Stella McCartney's Spring 2012 collection presentation in NYC yesterday.  See their cute mommy-and-me pics inside and find out about NeNe Leakes new clothing line.....

Solange Knowles brought her son out for Stella McCartney's 2012 Spring Fashion Presentation Carnival Party yesterday.  She rocked one of Stella's Spring/Summer 2012 print mini dresses.  And she and her son (who has an effortless fashion swag of his own) mingled amongst other celebs and models who showed off Stella McCartney's new spring collection.

And in case you didn't hear, comments about Solange's "natural" recently sparked an outburst from the singer.  She posted a stream of tweets directed at people commenting on her various hairstyles.  

 "I’m only going to say a few things. I cut my hair ALL off 4 times in my life all for very different reasons....I only reiterate this because this is nothing new for me. This 4th time did not define me, just as it had not the previous 3 times. I've never painted myself as a team natural vice president. I don't know the lingo and I don't sleep with a satin cap...However, I did notice when I picked out my hair, I kept seeing feedback about needing a "twist out". Connnnfesssioonnn: I HATE twist outs. Correction, I hate the way they look on me. SO I end up always picking them/steaming them out," Solange continues.

 

"Look, all I’m saying is. My hair is not very important to me....so I don't encourage it to be important to you. I’m very emotional today (involving something else), so I’m letting the momentum of that help me to express the fact that...I don’t want to talk about no damn hair.....no mo. (AND maybe I’m biased, but I agree 100% with the article I posted…)"

We feel her on the unnecessary constant judgment.  But interesting words about not wanting to speak about hair ever again--coming from a Carol's Daughter hair care spokesmodel.

 

While there, she and Julez also played with the carnival games.  

 

After the party, Solange also dropped by the Michael Kalish's Belle Epoque Sculpture celebration and posed with actress Kelly Rutherford.  Whew....busy evening!

 

And in other fashion news.....

 

NeNe Leakes may be the first castmember from "RHOA" to have an actual clothing line hit the market.  She's in talks with global brand licensing agency Beanstalk to put her name and brand on their clothing to make for her "own" clothing.  

Beanstalk said that it intends to “leverage NeNe’s position in pop culture to offer consumers fashion-forward, affordable apparel and accessories, designed to empower women to walk into a room and ‘own it’ -- like NeNe herself.”

Michael Stone, Beanstalk’s president and CEO, added "While the fame of reality television characters is often short-lived and fleeting.  NeNeLeakes has displayed versatility that has enabled her to transition from being a Real Housewives personality to a featured television star on Glee. NeNe's multi-faceted personality and aspirational style will translate well into products that will emotionally connect with her fans."

And the praise continued as Allison Ames, president of North America at Beanstalk, said  “NeNe’s rise to fame has eclipsed that of any other reality television star today, providing a real opportunity to extend her brand.”

Sheree Whitfield is somewhere thinking "Why not me and "She By Sheree?"  One day Sheree....

SPOTTED: Rihanna Shops It Up In NIPPY New York

Rihanna kept it easy & breezy (and revealing) yesterday in NYC while shopping with friends in Soho.  Check out her sheer skirt & sheer lace bandeau top look inside...

The dark haired pop star turned heads as she did some damage at Intermix in Soho yesterday.  Rocking her fave nipple baring bandeau style top and a sheer accordion hi-lo skirt and her Converse sneakers, 24-year-old Ri Ri celebrated her new nude Reb'l fleur perfume ad in Times Square by copping herself a few pretty things with her girl Melissa.

The small black Celine bag isn't gonna cover up much.  And since it got pretty cool yesterday in New York, Ri threw on a hoodie to continue her day:

And also snapped a sultry pic of her outfit back at the hotel.

Rihanna also been going off on Twitter about The Sun newspaper accusing her of using a body double in her new sultry Armani ads.  They said she used an Irish model named Jahnassa since her assets were similar.  Rihanna fired back:

DIVORCE IS A NO-GO! Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Reconcile...For Now

Vanessa Bryant just maneuvered her way into the best position.  Not only is she holding those deeds to her and Kobe's 3 mansions now, the twosome have decided to ixnay their divorce...for now.

Now that Kobe Bryant has had some time to focus on his family life, he and estranged wife Vanessa have been getting closer and working things out.  Much like their recent Disneyland trip with the kiddies:

Now the hand holding lovey dovey twosome has called off the divorce, but can put it back in action at any time.  But they're not living together just yet.  TMZ reports:

Vanessa Bryant will NOT sign documents to make her divorce final ... at least for now ... because TMZ has learned, she and Kobe are working on a full reconciliation.

We've learned Kobe and Vanessa are trying to work out the issues that caused her to file for divorce back in December. They spend a lot of time together but he has not officially moved back in with her.

Under California law, Vanessa has to wait 6 months before she can file final docs making the divorce official. The 6-month mark hits this weekend, so Vanessa could end the marriage as early as Monday ... but we know she won't.

See...there is a silver lining in multi-million-dollar divorce proceedings.

Chris Brown DROPS In On "106 & Park" + Trey Songz's "2 Reasons" Featuring T.I.

Chris Brown dropped by "106 & Park" yesterday to talk rumors (like whether he bought that Grammy) and new music.  Watch his interview inside and check out a new version of his "Oh Yeah" track.  Also, listen to Trey Songz's "2 Reasons" featuring T.I.

 

Chris Brown stopped by "106 & Park" yesterday where he thrilled fans with a line from "Birthday Cake."  And before dropping his "Don't Wake Me Up" video, he opened up about winning a Grammy and the mixtapes he's jamming.  

Here are the highlights:

 

On winning a Grammy and the rumors that he bought it:

“It’s just a blessing to be able to perform and go through what I went through, my trials and tribulations, and to be able to overcome it and be able to say I got a Grammy, I’m doing my thing, it’s great. I ain’t buy it!”

On his upcoming BET Awards performance:

“I wanted to do the beginning of Chris Brown all the way till now, but we’re going to give them something to look at and have fun with.”

On what he’s listening to:

“I’m into mixtapes. Shouts out to A$AP Rocky. I think his movement is dope. As far as like Big Sean, Tyga, a lot of my homies, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill… I feel like as a youth, artists are starting to come together and do it for the youngsters. We’re showing them how to floss a little bit, but at the same time, do it for the young kids.”

On his dream movie role:

“I would love to do the autobiography of Sam Cooke.”

On how he relaxes:

“Nice music, four to five girls laid out. They can be walking around or whatever. Sand, water, oil.”

Chrissy Lampkin & Jim Jones LAND Spinoff Reality Show + Deion Sanders And Tracey Edmonds CONFIRM New Reality Show

Big news in the land of reality tv....Both Chrissy Lampkin and Deion Sanders have announced new shows that they're working on.  It's been suspected for a while, but actual confirmations have now rolled in.  Get the deets inside....

 

Former "L&H" star Chrissy Lampkin recently revealed that she and fiance Jim Jones have landed their own reality tv show.  She told VIBE, “Jimmy and I have our own show now. There’s definitely gonna be drama. We love each other but we don’t always see eye-to-eye." 

She added,  "We respect each other but just like any other relationship, it gets rocky.” said Chrissy who hasn't yet decided on a name for the show.  “I really don’t know [the title yet]. I really wanted Me and Mrs. Jones but Kelis and Nas already used that,” she said.

But don't expect things to get physical on the new show.  Chrissy seems to regret the more physical scenes from "L&H."  

“It’s like why did I let them get me that angry? I feel like I can think circles around half of the situations that I allow myself to get angry at," Chrissy mused. "My wit and my vocabulary is enough to cut somebody down where I don’t have to get physical.”

 

In other tv news..........

Deion Sanders and Tracy Edmonds confirmed to "The Insider" today that they are indeed working on a reality show together.  Deion and Tracey, who runs her own production company, say the show will focus on Deion's life and it will explore the drama with Pilar Sanders. Well....we already know how Pilar's fight night is gonna come up in the editing suite. Womp.

Evelyn Lozada Goes For A RIDE In The NYC Puerto Rican Day Parade, Shaunie Says 3 "Basketball Wives" Need To Be AXED From The Show!

Evelyn Lozada hit the Puerto Rican Day parade yesterday in NYC.  The "Basketball Wife" dipped into her Puerto Rican pride with a tied up, off the shoulder tee and waving the country's flag while riding on a float.

Evelyn threw on her red Reebok Classic sneakers and tight red pants and PR tee to ride on lawyer Javier Solano's float for the NYC annual Puerto Rican Day parade.

She looked happy to be chillin' with her people and having fun.  And she's also celebrating her new book, THE WIVES ASSOCIATION: Inner Circle.  Evelyn says it's not a tell-all, but the stories are based on some of her own experiences and that of other athlete wives and girlfriends.  Riiiight.

The novel will be the first release from her multi-platform deal with Cash Money Content.

Meanwhile, Exec. Producer Shaunie O'Neal spoke to The insider recently.  And she revealed she is NOT interested in returning.  But we all know she will.

She says the only way "BBW" will change is if 3 certain women (who she wouldn't name) would get the axe:

"Three [from Miami]," says Shaunie. "Immediately. No questions asked. Not anything personal, just not where I'm trying to go. Not on the same page. … If I would like this franchise to keep going, yeah, three would have to go."

We'll name them for her.  Evelyn, Jen & Tami.  There.

Oprah Winfrey recently posted a preview of her interview with Meagan Good's fiance DeVon Franklin where he talked about his faith and how he navigates the entertainment industry.   Oprah said on her Facebook page,

Jillian Hervey and Sasha Fox (12) are the gorgeous daughters of former Miss America and actress Vanessa Williams.  Ms. Williams is also the mother of daughter Melanie and son Devin. 

The proud mom tweeted the above pic saying, "My big girls summer in the city."  Her daughter Jillian, 23, is now following in her mom's footsteps and pursuing a music career.  Sweet!

Rocsi & Eddie Murphy Take Their "Coffee Runs" To Hawaii For Vacay

After jetting to L.A. from NYC to make "professional coffee runs" with Eddie Murphy, Rocsi Diaz was spotted chillin' on a hotel room balcony in Hawaii yesterday with Mr. Murphy as well.

The twosome have been spotted twice in L.A. on coffee runs while holding hands and hugging.  Rocsi sent us a statement of denial saying they have only a "professional relationship" and it was "just coffee."

But the duo seemed to book it to Hawaii for a relaxing vacay recently as well.  Eddie & Rocsi were relaxing and taking in the sights on their hotel room balcony.  I suppose they could have just been getting coffee in Hawaii too.  You aint gotta lie to kick it.  Do you boo.

And if you were wondering why Rocsi was out several days last week on "106 & Park," she was also spending a few days on the set of a new film, The Last Letter.

Dawn Richard GOES Sci-Fi For "Automatic" TEASER + KeKe Palmer SEXES Up Her Image For New Videos

Dawn Richard has released a teaser for her upcoming video "Automatic."  Watch the clip inside and see sexy pics of KeKe Palmer shooting her latest set of videos.

We told you earlier about Dawn Richard's sci-fi video for "Automatic" and now she's dropped a cinematic teaser for the second single off her #1 EP, Armor On. In the teaser, Dawn transforms from an android to a black symbiotic being, proclaiming she is no longer her lover's "toy".

"For this video, we wanted to show the depth and versatility to our story," says Dawn. "With 'Bombs' we focused on full out choreography. We wanna bring something new every time we release a visual. With 'Automatic' it's more story focused. It's the rebellion against what the world wants you to be and what really lies underneath it all when you realize your own self worth."

In other music news......

On the heels of her star turn in the movie Rags, KeKe Palmer is set to drop two new music videos and we'll be seeing a sexier side of the 18-year-old singer/actress.

Over the weekend she filmed videos for two tracks from her forthcoming mixtape dropping this summer.  One for a song called "Dance Alone" and the other "You Got Me" featuring Kevin McCall.  Check out more pics from the set:

 

The videos will be released in the coming weeks leading up to the release of Keke's mixtape.  She looks great!

In what was his first performance in the U.S. in over a decade, D’Angelo surprised fans at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee yesterday. He hit the stage with The Roots and performed a few classic songs....but none of his own.

Questlove of the Roots surprised the audience during the "Superjam" where he said, "I've been waiting 12 years to say this — ladies and gentlemen, D'Angelo!"

Playing both the keyboard and the guitar, he sang classics like Funkadelic's "Hit It & Quit It" and Jimi Hendrix's "Have You Ever Been (to Electric Ladyland)." D'Angelo is set to perform at the Essence Music Festival on July 6 and at Jay-Z's Made In America Festival in Philly during Labor Day weekend.  Watch D'Angelo and The Roots perform The Beatles' “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window” above.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran popped bottles with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna (so to speak) in NYC recently.  Get the deets on the couple's act of kindness inside......

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran were spotted partying at SL in NYC on Saturday and things got real interesting when Rihanna popped up with a few of her gal pals.

Though the two parties weren't sitting next to each other, they were close enough to exchange looks all night.  According to the NY Post, Chris and Karrueche sent two bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne over to Rihanna's table.  

Though folks have tried to play up the drama between Karrueche and RiRi, Ms. Tran later tweeted, "kill 'em w kindness."  The three of them seem to have moved on from the past.  Maybe the public should too.
