Listen Up, Haters! Cheryl Cole Knows She's Not Mariah Carey, And She Isn't Apologizing For It!

This is EXACTLY why we adore Cheryl Cole!

Love her or leave her, she is 100% her, through and through!

And NO ONE is going to change that!

After coming under fire for her vocal abilities during her recent Diamond Jubilee performance, the singer has lashed back, and claims she has never pretended to be Mariah Carey!

She explains:

"I am very aware of my ability, I know I'm no Mariah Carey but I think the emotion in the song is what matters. It's making people feel what you're singing about. My new album is designed to entertain and I know when I take to the stage and I see a million little lights it really is game time. I've grown as a person and an artist - you can hear that in my music. I feel brand new. I'm bullet proof. I feel as hard as the times I've had but I think everything happens for a reason, even if you can't always say what that reason is. On the first album I was really nervous after seven years with Girls Aloud. I had to step forward on my own and prove myself. Now I have had two number one albums so I feel I know what I'm doing. I fit into my own shoes now and I'm simply not worried anymore."

Good for you, gurl! You have NOTHING to apologize for!

There are A LOT of facets that go into being a superstar, and despite your not having as expansive a vocal range as some of your contemporaries, there is NO question that you are a born entertainer, and a supremely talented one at that!

Let the haters hate! Because at the end of the day, you're still a successful recording artist, and all they've got is negativity!

So sad!

Alec Baldwin To Marry At Godfather Cathedral!

Ding Dong!! Wedding bells all over!!

Despite previous reports of a Europe elopement, looks like Alec Baldwin will wed the beautiful Hilaria Thomas in New York's famous St. Patrick's Old Cathedral!

Located on Mulberry Street, this Catholic church is recognizable from its infamous scenes in The Godfather and Gangs of New York.

But surely the Baldwin wedding won't be that dark! Ha!

A close source says A LOT of time and planning has gone into this. So basically - it's going to be marvelous. And a marvelous wedding should mean gorgeous pics, riiiight???

We can't wait!! Congrats, Alec!! ;)

Russell Brand Dishes On The Hardest Part Of Katy Perry Divorce!

While the spotlight has most recently been on Katy Perry and her upcoming 3D flick, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, her ex hubby Russell Brand is now opening up!

In an interview with Lorraine Kelly in the UK today, Brand spilled on his and Katy's divorce...and the most difficult part of it all!

Russell revealed:

"[The marriage] did work out in a way, you're married and it's good, then you're not married and it's good. You just have to have acceptance of things. She's a person I love but this is a new time. Divorce is difficult because of the admin. A lot of admin!"

We kinda thought divorce would be hard because you're splitting from the one you were married to and not because of the paperwork...but whatever you say, Russy!!

We're glad to hear the funnyman still has love for the fabulous Mz. Katy, though, how could you not?!

As he proclaimed on Ellen last month, he has "only love and positivity for her."

We wish them both the best!!!

Lindsay Lohan Gets "Defensive" With Racy Film Producers!

Well color us shocked!!

Lindsay Lohan has once again raised concern in film producers.

For Bret Easton Ellis' racy new film, The Canyons, Linds plays Tara - a woman in El Lay who "sold her pride for material comforts."

And while producer Braxton Pope thinks she's great and "incredibly charismatic in person," he also voices a valid point:

"Unfortunately she is someone whose publicity can overwhelm the most essential fact that she's enormously talented."

Oh whoa! Guess there IS such a thing as bad publicity!!

One source even elaborates:

"They were very clear with Lindsay that there is concern about her ability to be disciplined enough to get through production. They spent an hour with her and they set conditions, telling her that they need to hear from the producers of Liz & Dick that she's showing up on time and things like that.

I'm told it was slightly awkward. She was very defensive and had an excuse for everything brought up. But they were very clear with her about their terms. They have a limited budget and can't afford to have production stalled because she's late or has to be replaced. Shooting will start July 9 whether she is part of the movie or not."

Sounds like reasonable requests to us!

Be on time and ready to work or be fired, plain and simple!!

So which will weigh more when it's *ACTION* time?? Her drive to be a STAR or her drive to PAARTY!?!

Check Out The Art Of Tim Burton's Frankenweenie At This Year's Comic-Con

Stop motion animation fans should definitely make it a priority to visit this year's Comic-Con San Diego between July 11-15 to check out Tim Burton's Art of Frankenweenie exhibit.

In a preview of the display (above), one of Frankenweenie's producers explains the history of the film and what inspired the director to create it.

The exhibition features lots of carefully handcrafted puppets and set designs, which should satisfy any art or animation junkies wildest dreams as well as give film fans a glimpse of the next stop motion classic.

If Californians (or people willing to travel to California) can't make it to San Diego in July, the Art of Frankenweenie will stop in Anaheim from September 14 to November 5.

The attraction will be visiting 7 countries around the world over the next few months, so click here to find out if it's coming to a city near U!

Good news!!

The three-titayed prostitute WILL appear in the re-boot!! Sweeeet!

What, you wanted more spoilery goodness?? Hah, okay!

We already know Colin Farrell plays protagonist Doug Quaid and Heisenberg Bryan Cranston plays the villain.

We're also fairly positive that Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel play Colin's good and evil love-interests, in some order.

So where does that leave Ethan Hawke???

We had no clue.. until now!!

Producer Tobe Jaffe was more than happy to gives us a few scoops of Hawke deets that never made the trailer.

He admitted:

"Not to give away too much, but one of the big differences between the earlier film and this film is that not only do they erase [Doug Quaid's] memory but they change the way he looks, so he has a different face. Ethan plays who he was before they wiped his mind and changed his face."

Colin and Ethan sharing the same body?

Mmmm. Is it getting hot in here, or is it just us? LOLz!!

Between that and the promise of sexy ninja fight scenes between Kate and Jessica, this movie should have a little something something for everyone.

Denise Richards Confirms Richie Sambora Break-Up!

There's still a chance for Charlie Sheen after all!

After hearing through the grapevine that the break-up rumors were plentiful, Denise Richards decided it would be best to come forward and clear the air.

While she and Richie Sambora definitely AREN'T together romantically, they're still tight:

"We aren't dating, but as a lot of people have seen, I stay very friendly with my exes. All of them. We went through a lot. Years ago we both lost our parents at the same time and were going through other stuff, so we'll always have a bond with each other and we will stay good friends forever."

Aww.. well is that just sweet!!

Of course, she definitely didn't address the rumors of a nasty Nashville argument that played as the final nail in the coffin.

But were we expecting her to? Nope! Those lips are tighter than some of the clothes she's worn!

Robert Pattinson Coached On Sexy English Accent?!

He's not British folks, he was pretending the whole time!

Obviously, we jest, but after spouting American accented jargon in the Twilight films for four years, it seems Robert Pattinson's voice had a little trouble returning to its English roots.

Bel Ami co-star Christina Ricci recently divulged some silver-tongued secrets about Robbie Robster's vocal difficulties:

"They hired a wonderful accent coach who coached me…and also coached him because he spent a lot of time in L.A. I got to make fun of him because he's actually British and sometimes would sound like he was a Valley girl. And he made fun of me because I was trying to be British and would sometimes sound like a Valley girl."

Uh oh... someone's been spending, like too much time with his like, Valley GIRLFRIEND...

Kristen Stewart, get your beau's accent in check! Plus, he's SO much more appealing with that London lilt.
