| Madagascar 3 For The Win! Beats Prometheus For The #1 Box-Office Spot! Posted: 10 Jun 2012 12:40 PM PDT It was a fierce box office battle, but ultimately, it was those animated animal friends that took the crown! While Prometheus started out on top, making $21.4 million on Friday alone, it was Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, that came in number one this weekend as predicted, making about $60 million while Ridley Scott's Alien prequel came in second with $50! But at the end of the day, both movies came up winners, because ticket sales were up 30% over this time last year! Box-office analyst Paul Dergarabedian explains:
Indeed! Well, in that case, then we think everyone behind both of these productions should be very proud of themselves! We'll be curious to observe if all the blockbusters on their way in the coming months can continue bringing folks to the theaters! How about U?? |

That's right, the gays who were pAArtying at Club Robertson's Rasputin in WeHo were reportedly delighted to discover that none other than Christina Aguilera was in the building to show her support to the LGBT community, and gurlfriend danced the night away until closing time! According to witnesses, she and boyfriend Matthew Rutler hit the dance floor to one of her more recent hits, and explain:

| The Hunger Games Expected To Make $400 MILLION In Domestic Box Office Today! Posted: 10 Jun 2012 11:40 AM PDT The odds are EVER in its favor FOR SURE! The Hunger Games already has a domestic theatrical gross of $399.5 million, which means that at some point today, the incredible film adaptation of the smash Suzanne Collins novel will be breaking the $400 million mark in the U.S. and Canadian box office! AMAZING! And SO well-deserved! And with The Avengers already having done so and The Dark Knight Rises almost a sure-bet to follow suit when it premieres later this summer, it may be the first year ever in which three films end up making over $400 million in North American grosses! Holy shiz! HUGE! But hey! That's what happens when box office darlings also happen to be well-made motion pictures! Congrats, congrats, Katniss and company! Let's shoot for even BIGGER box office numbers for Catching Fire! |
| The Cast Of Jersey Shore Involved In Their FIRST Bar Brawl Of The Season! Posted: 10 Jun 2012 11:20 AM PDT Well, we're glad to know that Snooki's pregnancy and The Situation's sobriety haven't changed EVERY aspect of the upcoming season of Jersey Shore! That's right, our beloved guidos and guidettes, who are filming the sixth season of the reality series, were involved in a MASSIVE brawl at a Seaside Heights bar last night, and while the castmembers are claiming their involvement was due to self-defense, two of the victims are planning to press charges against them AND MTV! According to sources at the Bamboo Bar, JWoww, Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and The Situation were all on hand, and eventually escorted out, after drunken taunting escalated into a GTL edition of Mortal Kombat! A witness describes:
Ouch! But what caused all of this? According to two men involved, Justin Viterito and Devon Chichele, they were merely victims of circumstance, as members of the Shore crew started pushing them, and when they retaliated, a bouncer put the former in a headlock so Ronnie could punch him in the face! They were then taken out of the bar, and now plan to sue everyone involved, including the bar, as they claim the activity is encouraged for ratings! However, according to our reality heroes, the two were taunting them all night and even though security tried to make them leave, they refused and got into the face of JWoww's boyfriend and Pauly D's friend! Ultimately, the cast got involved when one of them threatened to "knock them out" and took a swing at Pauly D! Good lord! Nutso! We're just glad our beloved Snooki Snickers wasn't involved! But honestly - what good would a season of Jersey Shore be without at least ONE epic blow-out? Guess we'll find out exactly what went down once it airs! |

| Lindsay Lohan Claims Her Brakes Failed Before PCH Accident With 18-Wheeler! Posted: 10 Jun 2012 10:20 AM PDT Although we're just relieved that there were no serious injuries, it doesn't sound we'll be getting a straight answer as to what exactly caused Lindsay Lohan's car accident with an 18-wheeler on the PCH this past Friday! What we do know is this: The actress was on the way to film Liz & Dick with her assistant in a rented Porsche when she slammed into the back of the truck. They were taken to the hospital and treated more minor cuts and bruises. While it was initially reported that LiLo wasn't even driving, she later confirmed that she was, and that the accident happened when the truck driver cut her off, a claim he has since denied, and has witnesses to back him up! Furthermore, he later asserted that the actress' team attempted to bribe him, and even witnessed them trying to hid a "mysterious bag" from him while waiting for the cops! CRAZY! Well, in today's news, Lindsay's rep, Steve Honig, says in response to the trucker's allegations:
Wow! Pretty no-nonsense about all of that, huh? Meanwhile, LiLo herself has now added a new aspect to her tale, and is apparently telling friends that while she was definitely cut off, the REAL cause of the accident was that the brakes on her rented car failed her, and she couldn't stop in time! Even worse? She claims she was informed before taking the car that its brakes had only just been replaced two days before! Yeesh! Seems like something you might want to tell authorities immediately after totaling your ride, right? Then again, given her history on the road, we would have stopped getting behind the wheel and hired a personal driver a looooong time ago! Can U imagine what her car insurance premium is?! Eek!
