Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Steve Harvey & More Get STARS On Hollywood Walk Of Fame + Jenny's "Winnie" Trailer RELEASED

Jennifer Hudson's trailer for the controversial biopic Winnie has been released.  Watch it inside and find out what celebs will be joining Jen on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.

 

We told you earlier about Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson starring in Winnie, a biopic that chronicles the life of Winnie Mandela, and now the theatrical trailer has been released.  Directed by Darrell Roodt, the film, shown at several movie festivals around the world, charts Winne's life from her childhood through her husband Nelson Mandela's incarceration and her own year in solitary confinement.  Terrence Howard will be starring opposite Jen as Nelson Mandela, and I'm sure there will be Oscar-buzz once again for both of them next year.

In other J-Hud news, the actress joins a long list of fabulous entertainers who will all be honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.  Other YBF folks who'll be honored at Viola Davis, Usher, Luther Vandross and Steve Harvey.  Much deserved.

LIVE STREAM: Miami Heat 2012 Championship Parade!

It's about that time.  The Miami Heat are trekking it around their city for their championship parade.  Check out the live stream inside.  Plus, see pics of their huge celebratory cake made in just 2 hours for their big Championship afterparty...

The Big 3--Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh--and the rest of the squad were celebrated with their jerseys being plastered on their big cake.  Last Thursday night after the Heat's big win, Divine Delicacies had only 2 hours to whip up this giant sake for the team to bring to their afterparty at Fountainbleu.

It was a one story cake with the Gold painted Trophy on top. They also did a Happy Belated Birthday Cake for player Udonis Haslem.

 

As for the second official cake brought to the official party at Bamboo on Saturday, Divine Delicacies created this:

It's a 4 tier Vanilla Rum Cake topped with a Giant 24K edible Gold trophy replica of The O'Brien championship trophy.
The cake had the whole team's player's jerseys around the red tier with 6 bands of gold Swarovsky crystals surrounding it.
There was also 3D airbrush fondant flames around the other tiers.

In the trophy part was a Custom Swarovski Crystal Heat logo with more than 500 crystals.  Plus. a custom Gold Shadow stone that read "2012 NBA Champions" created by Cake Monogram Miami.

COUPLEDOM: DeVon Franklin & Meagan Good Hit New Edition's Concert + Amare Stoudemire & Alexis Do Calvin Klein's Fashion Show

Love was in the air over the weekend as fab couples DeVon Franklin & Meagan Good, Victor Cruz and his boo plus and Amare Stoudemire & Alexis Welch were spotted spending cutesy quality time. See the pics inside....

Fab actress Meagan Good and her new husband DeVon Franklin were spotted walking to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last night.  

The newlyweds attended the New Edition concert.  These two could win the "Most Photogenic" Couple award.  Fin laid back night out.

 

And in Milan, Italy.....

Newly engaged couple Alexis Welch and NY Knick Amare Stoudemire attended the Calvin Klein Collection Fashion Show.

Alexis' engagement ring....yes.

The show was part of Milan Fashion Week Menswear Spring/Summer 2013.

Also, NY Giant Victor Cruz and girlfriend Elaina Watley also attended the presentation.  

The dapper gents later posed with Henrik Lundqvist.  Looking good fellas!

CONCERT FAB: Rihanna, Nas, Azealia Banks & More SHUT IT DOWN In London For Hackney Weekend!

A few of the fab folks of urban music hit the stage over the weekend in London for the BBC Radio 1 Hackney musical festival. Plus, Rih partying it up to celebrate.  Get the deets inside and see video of Rihanna, Nas and Azealia Banks on stage.

 

 

In addition to appearing during Jay-Z's set on Saturday, last night, Rihanna headlined at Hackney Weekend in London last night.  Jay-Z turned up during her entrance and the duo performed "Run This Town" once again. 

RiRi rocked a black leather jacket, Air Yeezy 2s, a baseball cap, torn fishnet stockings, and black-and-gold sunglasses for the set which closed out the 2-day festival.  

The pop chick also incorporated a fireworks display into her set and said, “Hackney, you fu**ing rock!  I don’t wanna go. I love you guys so much.”

The photographers also got RiRi exiting the stage after her set.

 

This morning, Rihanna was seen leaving her hotel with her nampeplate RIH RIH earrings after hitting Whisky Mist Nightclub where she celebrated her performances.  Of course.

 

Azealia Banks also hit the stage to perform her international hit "212."  

Nas, Santigold and B.o.B. also took the stage last night.

BONUS:

Nas also hit up Tim Westwood's show while across the pond.  He chatted about his divorce from Kelis saying, "Marriage is expensive!" But despite what the last one cost him, he said he would remarry if he met the right one. He also gave Kelis a shoutout!

1.  Today marks the 3 year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death.  His brothers are planning a tribute to honor his legacy.  Story.

Former "Soul Food" actress Vanessa A. Williams covers The Summer Issue of Denim Magazine.

In the issue, she reveals that there will indeed be a "Soul Food" reunion--amongst the cast themselves--but the series has not been in the process of returning to TV.  Also she talked about her most recent project.

DENIM: TV One has began showing the Soul Food television series again! Is there a chance for a reunion? Would you do it again?
VM: That was so cute! We had been hearing rumors about Soul Food returning. The fans were talking about it and they were under the impression that there was going to be a reunion- a new launch. What was true was that TV One was going to put Soul Food back on- not new episodes. When the old episodes started airing again, we all [cast] decided to get together for a mini reunion. Working Soul Food was like the best times of our lives! I agree- we need to bring it back! Let’s #OccupySoulFood! It would be great to see what’s happening now with Maxine and the other Joseph sisters- their families and what they would be doing now. Soul Food brought us together as a family and we were all about perfecting ourselves- committed to laughter and love. Soul Food will live forever!

DENIM: By-the-way, are you working on any new projects?
VM: My sister Terri J. Vaughn talked to me about Sugar Mommas. I was on board and her company hired me to do the show on GMC. Rumor has it, that Sugar Mommas may be returning for a mini series. It’s a great show and we had a lot of fun with it. Oh and I’m actually on set for a new original film, Raising Izzie, directed by Roger M. Bobb along with my Soul Food hubby Rockmond Dunbar. The film is scheduled to air July 21! So excited!
