Okay, so we all know that it's impossible to choose between Get Lucky and Happy as your favorite Pharrell song, and now you don't have to! The duo Pomplamoose created musical magic by creating a mashup between these two AH-Mazing songs, which they aptly call Get Happy! Not only that but the accompanying video they made is beyond brillz! The Arctic Monkeys kicked things off at the 2014 BRIT Awards with a performance of R U Mine? The British rockers held back no punches as they cranked the volume all the way up to 11 and even brought along pyrotechnics for some awesome visuals! Unfortunately, host James Corden didn't get the memo and apparently stood too close to the stage as his sleeve burst into flames!! Yikes! Talk about a hot performance!! This was one HARD category to win, but in the end Ellie was doing Figure 8s around the amazing competition: Birdy, Jessie J, Laura Marling, and Laura Mvula! We're so excited for her! We can't wait for her to perform! Such a classy speech!! She's so adorable! Prince is amazing too! SO MANY REASONS FOR EXCLAMATION POINTS!! |
| Posted: 19 Feb 2014 12:19 PM PST FOX's Batman prequel series Gotham has cast some pretty heavy-hitters over the past couple weeks, but now they've snagged their biggest Fish to date! Jada Pinkett Smith has been cast as Fish Mooney, a tough gangster who rules the Gotham Underworld long before The Joker and Two-Face turn it into Crazytown. Jada will even be bossing around the Penguin! Pretty cool! It's about time someone put Jada in a superhero yarn! She has the acting chops AND the action cred (she was the best part of the Matrix sequels), so we can't wait to see her be really bad! Though this may make it tough to root for Batman... Oh well!
