Philip Seymour Hoffman Found With A Needle In His Arm! Posted: 02 Feb 2014 11:51 AM PST We were hoping this wasn't the case! More details are coming out now about what happened to Philip Seymour Hoffman, and it seems to be a drug overdose. New reports state that the 46-year-old actor was found in his Greenwich Village apartment with a hypodermic needle still in his arm, according to the police. Around 11 AM, his personal assistant called 911 when the PA saw Mr. Hoffman's body, which was fully clothed. What a horrible thing, all the way around! The police found heroin in the apartment, which Philip had admittedly struggled with and been to rehab for previously. Hoffman hadn't seemed right at the Sundance Film Festival, according to witnesses, and wouldn't do any interviews. This is just so, so heartbreaking! We just wish he'd gotten the help he needed it! It was Imagine Dragons time to shine as the musical act on Saturday Night Live, but they invited a guest to perform with them: Kendrick Lamar! It was like the Grammys all over again! First, Radioactive started out normal, which of course meant having a slew of fabulous stringed instruments being played in the background. Then the hooded 27-year-old rapper appeared on stage to kill his verse (above)! Their second song, Demons, was much more subdued, but no less AH-Mayzing (below)! After seeing Imagine Dragons perform a few times now, we'd have to say, they totally rock!

Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Sunday afternoon, according to a law-enforcement official. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has yet to determine what happened to the 46-year-old actor and the official cause of death. Though, there are other reports that Philip was found with a needle in his arm! SO SAD! The actor had checked into rehab for heroin in May, after being clean for 23 years. Posted: 02 Feb 2014 10:33 AM PST Believe it or not, if you were one of the Harry Potter fans who was upset that Harry and Hermione Granger didn't end up together, then you had reason to be! And J.K. Rowling has something very important to tell you about The Relationship That Should Have Been. In an interview with the Sunday Times, done by Emma Watson, the author explains why she had Hermione and Ron Weasley end up as lovahs: "I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment. That's how it was conceived, really. For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron. I know, I'm sorry, I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I'm absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that. It was a choice I made for very personal reasons, not for reasons of credibility." Um, SHOCKED! But we can't blame Miz Rowling for following her heart! As for people who think Harry and Hermione were still better suited for each other, the author and the actress agree! Rowling said they "were a better match" and Emma added: "I think there are fans out there who know that too and who wonder whether Ron would have really been able to make her happy." While Harry and Hermione would have made more sense, the series wasn't bad because of the switch! It's still totally magical and fantastical and in the end they all found love!

Dylan Farrow Pens A Tragic Open Letter About Woody Allen! Read Her Words HERE! Posted: 02 Feb 2014 10:00 AM PST Maybe this will get Hollywood to listen... It's been a topic that has been danced around for decades, but Dylan Farrow wants everyone to know exactly what Woody Allen did to her all those years ago. The open letter, printed in the The New York Times, is very heartfelt, matter-of-fact, and to the point. In fact, it starts out like this: "What's your favorite Woody Allen movie? Before you answer, you should know: when I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house. He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother's electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me. He talked to me while he did it, whispering that I was a good girl, that this was our secret, promising that we'd go to Paris and I'd be a star in his movies. I remember staring at that toy train, focusing on it as it traveled in its circle around the attic. To this day, I find it difficult to look at toy trains." Wow. Srsly heavy stuff. And it only got harder to read when Dylan talked about how she felt after she told her mom, Mia Farrow: "When I asked my mother if her dad did to her what Woody Allen did to me, I honestly did not know the answer. I also didn't know the firestorm it would trigger. I didn't know that my father would use his sexual relationship with my sister to cover up the abuse he inflicted on me. I didn't know that he would accuse my mother of planting the abuse in my head and call her a liar for defending me. I didn't know that I would be made to recount my story over and over again, to doctor after doctor, pushed to see if I'd admit I was lying as part of a legal battle I couldn't possibly understand. At one point, my mother sat me down and told me that I wouldn't be in trouble if I was lying – that I could take it all back. I couldn't. It was all true. But sexual abuse claims against the powerful stall more easily. There were experts willing to attack my credibility. There were doctors willing to gaslight an abused child." This is so horrible! We can't imagine going through anything this traumatic! Then things got even more intense when Dylan names Woody's most loyal members of the glitterati , saying: "What if it had been your child, Cate Blanchett? Louis CK? Alec Baldwin? What if it had been you, Emma Stone? Or you, Scarlett Johansson? You knew me when I was a little girl, Diane Keaton. Have you forgotten me? Woody Allen is a living testament to the way our society fails the survivors of sexual assault and abuse. So imagine your seven-year-old daughter being led into an attic by Woody Allen. Imagine she spends a lifetime stricken with nausea at the mention of his name. Imagine a world that celebrates her tormenter. Are you imagining that? Now, what's your favorite Woody Allen movie?" We'd be interested to see what those celebs have to say about this too! Maybe they just hadn't thought of it from that point of view before. If you're feeling really down now, Dylan did talk about the positives in her life too! She explained: "Today, I consider myself lucky. I am happily married. I have the support of my amazing brothers and sisters. I have a mother who found within herself a well of fortitude that saved us from the chaos a predator brought into our home." Good! We're glad that Dylan has finally found happiness after all of these years with people who truly love her! Now, we wait and see what happens with Hollywood and Allen's Oscars nomination. Thoughts??? In fact, they've started the casting process! And according to a new report, there is going to be a gay couple! The narrator, Sally, has a gay, married brother, and both men are main characters in the show! As if we weren't already thrilled over this whole thing! Here's what the characters will reportedly be like: "Sally - She's vibrant, messy and unpredictable — a "female Peter Pan who has never grown up and has no idea of where she's going in life." She's thinking of calling it quits with her husband of a year, Gavin. She'll lean on her circle of friends for advice and support through the inevitable divorce. That circle includes… Juliet - Sally's sexy, flamboyant, energetic, party-girl BFF. She runs a successful fashion blog. She's delighted to learn Sally is ending things with the terminally boring Gavin. Danny - Sally's older gay brother, a Type A, overachieving lawyer whom she shares little in common with.
