Solange Knowles and her son Daniel Julez Smith, Jr attended the Solange And 14+ Foundation Partnership Party at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn earlier this week. And she served up 60's chic in a salmon on salmon sweater & tailored trouser look with big curls and equally large earrings.
The party celebrated a new partnership that Solange has formed with 14+ Foundation, Inc. (founded in 2012 in New York City) Philanthropist and construction industry leader Joseph Mizzi and native Zambian Nchimunya Wulf started the foundation to develop and build schools and orphanages for African children in rural communities. Their first project is the Chipakata Children’s Academy iin Lusaka, Zambia.
While at the party, Solange posed for a few pics. And we're loving the vintage soul look.

"Love & Hip Hop ATL" premiered last night and stars from Peachtree Street to Decatur came out in droves to Suite Life to celebrate. See Stevie J, Joseline, Rasheeda, Kirk Frost and more inside....
Joseline Hernandez is back......and she's got a ring to show off. And when she's looking like the classiest one of the bunch, you already know what type of season this will be...
It you watched the LAHH ATL premiere last night (pat yourself on the back for being able to sit through the all out staged foolery), you saw that Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez bought an 18,000 sq ft mansion and made it official. They are now husband and wife.
The couple popped some bottles at the premiere party.
In the face of all the drama we saw play out last season, Kirk Frost and Rasheeda (the proud parents of baby boy Karter and a bus load of Kirk's other kids) stuck it out and are still together.
Rasheeda's looking good post-baby.
And the reality star/rapper posed with her newlywed bestie Kandi Burruss.
Rapper Bone Crusher was there.
Christina Johnson (Cee Lo Green's ex) and star of the "Atlanta Exes" came out to support.
Comedian Shawty Shawty cracked a few jokes on the mic.
And Kandi's homie Carmon was there too. Glad to see they're still friends.

Ever wonder just how much fun your fave celebs are having at the most chic fashion party of the year--lots. At least that's what it seems like from the look of everyone's Instagram pics. Check out which Queens partied it up together inside, Beyonce's snapping her own pics of HER faves, and a peek inside the afterparty with LaLa & Gabby Union...
The 2014 MET Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC was indeed THE place to be last night. And the lucky A-listers who copped an invite...and a couture dress...gave us a sneak peek into what the most chic party of the year looks like AFTER the red carpet is over. Solange showed off a super cute snap of herself with her big sis Beyonce and Prada-drenched Lupita Nyong'o.
And Queen Bey showed off her own pic of the trio and actress Sarah Paulson while dripping in Givenchy.
And The Carters cuddled up thoughout the night at their table. Cute!
And it was a night of Queens as Janelle Monae posed it up with Beyonce and her Q.U.E.E.N. collabo partner Erykah Badu. Loves it!
Janelle and Erykah snapped a hot pic together, snapped by photographer Beyonce, and Janelle--who went by Jane last night--showed off some close ups of her look:
So pretty.
Rihanna may have snatched down her Instagram account (or maybe the IG folks did it for her), but it didn't stop her from snapping flicks with Stella McCartney (who she's wearing) and co.
Stella even snapped a pic of Rih, Cara Delevingne and Kate Bosworth (not pictured) and balloons with all their names, getting ready with her.
Joan Smalls, rocking Vera Wang, spent the evening with her model friends, including Kendall Jenner and Ming Xi (far right) in Michael Kors.
And she made sure to snap a pic with Rita Ora...and her legs. LaLa and Carmelo Anthony served up their chic couple stance before heading out to the Gala:
And Mrs. Anthony showed off her curves in this sexy Cushnie Et Ochs eggplant dress that we know made Melo forget all about the NBA playoffs the Knicks missed out on.
And she switched it up for the afterparty in a little black dress. And partied it up alongside her girl Gabby Union.
It's pretty sickening how Naomi looks flawless even while getting ready in her hotel room.
Ricardo Tisci posed it up with his two fave ladies wearing his Givenchy name--Erykah and Naomi.

The 2014 Met Ball is currently underway at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, and we've got the YBF celebs who took over the extremely fashionable red carpet. Check out the courageous few who pulled off their looks fabulously, and those who tried.... Tonight, YBF celebs flocked to the White Tie and Decorations themed Costume Institute Gala--Charles James: Beyond Fashion--for the most extravagant date in the fashion world.
Think Like A Man Too actress Gabrielle Union stepped outside the box in a black two-piece Prada crop top and skirt. And it was exactly what the actress envisioned because she personally designed the look with Miuccia Prada.
L’Oréal Paris spokesperson Zoe Saldana was gorgeous in a floral tiered skirt Michael Kors gown.
The Rosemary's Baby star showed off her dress in a sexy pose with designer Michael Kors.
Ditching her coily fro, Solange got peachy in a interesting 3.1 Phillip Lim custom dress.
Janelle Monae rocked her classic black and white (remixed) look, accenting with a blood red Tadashi Shoj cape, a Rodo clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes and Kwiat jewels.
Super model Naomi Campbell slipped into a sexy cut-out Givenchy gown posing with Givenchy‘s creative director Riccardo Tisci.
As the new face Givenchy's spring 2014 campaign, Erykah Badu channeled Pharrell rocking a Givenchy top hat on the carpet.
Zoe Kravitz and her new blonde 'do hit the red carpet in a high-split red Michael Kors gown. Looks like we have a wee bit of a V-slip in this dress....
Rita Ora donned a matte gold tulle Donna Karan Atelier gown, custom over the knee laced boots by Casadei and dripping in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Singer Frank Ocean looked dapper in a white blazer and black slacks, blinged out with a pair of Jacob & Co. white diamond studs. He is scheduled to hit the stage for a special performance during the ball.
Andre Leon Talley cleaned up nice.
Actress Rashida Jones wore a lavender Tory Burch gown with Brian Atwood shoes. She accessorized with Anya Hindmarch clutch and jewelry by Verdura.
Nicole Richie rocked a custom-dyed backless Donna Karan Atelier gown. Accenting with purple hair, she chose a Zagliani clutch and Christian Louboutin shoes to finish her look.

Rihanna got white hot on the red carpet at the Met Museum in NYC. With her hair swept to the top of her head, the Pop princess went braless in a white crop top with matching ruched white skirt by Stella McCartney.
Baring her full back, Rih accessorized her look with a blinged out Jacob & Co. choker, 4ct. diamond stud earrings and Dionea Orcini rings.
Too bad she couldn’t post any sneak peeks before the ball on her Instagram page since it was recently deactivated.

YBF celeb couples got stylish on the red carpet for one of the biggest nights in fashion at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC for the 2014 Met Ball. See Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and more cute couples inside…
Power couple Beyonce and Jay Z styled in monochromatic black and white with the Queen rocking a veil as they made their grand entrance into the Met Ball. Bey stunned in a all black sheer-in-all-the-right-places Givenchy Haute Couture dress paired with Givenchy veil and shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
When asked about her dress while on the carpet, Bey dished to the Women's Wear Daily reporter that the dress she is way more comfortable than her Givenchy gown from last year. Loving the regalness of the look, despite it not being as striking as last year's Givenchy Hate Couture look. Still stunning as always.
FUN FACT: Beyonce had a bit of a scare when she lost one of Lorraine Schwartz rings after it slipped off her finger. Luckily, Hov was able to find it and gave it back to her in the cutest way. He kneeled down as if he was proposing again. Loves it!
After gracing EBONY’s four-cover June issue, Kanye West was dapper in a Zorro-like black tux on the red carpet as he arrived with his fiancée (or possible wife already, according to reports they've legally signed their marital papers already in L.A.) Kim Kardashian.
Kim opted for a deep blue Lanvin dress accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Not the most fashion forward look (we expected a total SHUT DOWN with something we've never seen before since they've (mainly Kanye) has been working so long on this look), but it's INDEED a step up from last year's couch-gate.
John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen got classy on the red carpet. The All Of Me singer was dapper in a black Ralph Lauren tux while Chrissy Teigen shimmered in a silver Ralph Lauren gown.
Hot. This look will definitely cause fashion some debate, either way.
“The Playbook” author LaLa Anthony got sultry in a deep purple Cushnie et Ochs dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Christian Louboutin shoes on the red carpet posing alongside her husband Carmelo Anthony. Beautiful couple.
NY Giants star Victor Cruz and his fiancee Elaina Watley looked nice.
12 Years A Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor and his girlfriend, decked out in florals that look like they could have been remixed from grandma's closet, Sari Mercer posed it up on the carpet.

R&B Divas Atlanta star LaTavia Roberson (shown above outside the 'Wendy Williams' studios in NYC.) appeared on "WENDY" today where she talked about her past with Destiny's Child, R&B Divas Atlanta and her struggle with substance abuse. Here are the hightlights: On Destiny's Child: “I definitely did not quit. Who would quit Destiny’s Child? That’s insane. On getting kicked out of Destiny's Child: “Our conflict was strictly with management. It had nothing to do with the other ladies at all. We didn’t have anything against Beyoncé and Kelly [Rowland] at all. At that time, Mathew was our personal manager and he was everybody’s group manager. We disaffirmed him as our personal manager. We wanted to have someone actually to come in and manage along with him. We weren’t trying to fire him as the group’s manager. On if she's broke (or has money): I wrote on the albums, publishing. Yes ma’am. On substance abuse: "It was in my early 20s. Thank god I didn't have to live that out in front of the camera. After the group I had a lot of time to myself and I just started living in my head a little bit. And a lot of things from my childhood started to resurface. Jennifer Lopez will receive the Icon Award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards on May 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. In addition to the honor, she will also hit the stage to perform the official FIFA World Cup anthem “We Are One (Ole Ola)” with Pitbull, as well as her Max Martin-produced single “First Love.” Her 10th album A.K.A., due June 17.

Rihanna is reportedly parting ways with Def Jam after almost a decade with the record company. She has inked a new deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label. Plus, Rihanna’s Instagram page has been deactivated…for now. Deets inside… Storming the pop scene in 2005 with her debut album Music of the Sun, Rihanna and Def Jam have cranked out an impressive discography filled with #1 Pop Chart titles and many awards. But now that era of Rih’s life has come to an end and new one emerges. A source confirmed to MTV that Rih has left Def Jam and has signed a new deal with her mentor Jay Z’s Roc Nation label. Hov partnered Roc Nation with one of music’s largest (if not the largest) corporations, Universal Music Group back in April. And that’s when Rih hopped on board joining, J. Cole, Rita Ora and others. But there’s no bad blood between the Bajan beauty and the record label. Def Jam will reportedly still play a role in marketing and promoting the Pop princess’ music. Since she’s now on Roc Nation’s roster, it’s unclear whether her next project will have Def Jam or Roc Nation’s logo on it. Either way, Rih is still winning. And on another RiRi note…
The sexy singer’s Instagram account has been deactivated…at least for now. Remember when she posted those risqué topless and bottomless photos from her LUI Magazine shoot? Well IG honchos requested she take them down. Which she did, but now her account is nowhere to be found. Not sure if she deactivated her account herself (after threatening to leave in the comments on a fan page) or if Instagram deactivated her account for violating their terms. We went to her page this is what came up:

Comedienne Leslie Jones has drawn fire for an SNL skit that featured "jokes" about slavery that many found offensive. Watch the skit and weigh in.....
Outside of the brilliant "The Beygency" skit, SNL other "most talked about moment" came via SNL writer Leslie Jones who appeared during the Weekend Update segment. Leslie's cringe-worthy segment was peppered with "jokes" about slavery, breeding and a pseudo-takedown of Lupita Nyong'o. On social media, many people voiced their outrage (and that made Leslie defensive):

Is this much ado about nothing....or was this skit offensive? So far....no one from the SNL camp has addressed the controversy. Should they?

As they gear up for their wedding spin-off show which is scheduled to air on June 1st, we finally get to see the beautiful wedding photos of “RHOA” star Kandi Burruss saying “I Do” to her husband Todd Tucker last month. Decked out in a $20,000 Reco Chappele custom wedding gown with a 12-foot train, Kandi and Todd celebrated their love with a lavish “Coming to America” themed wedding held at Atlanta’s Le Fais Do-Do event facility in front of 300 guests. Kandi glowed in her pics as she posed with husband alongside her mother Mama Joyce, her daughter Riley, her father, Todd’s 17-year-old daughter and his mother. SIDEBAR: Could Mama Joyce at least crack a fake smile? Kandi also posed it up with her bridesmaids, “RHOA” cast mate Phaedra Parks, former Xscape band mate Tiny, singer Fantasia, "LAHH ATL" star Rasheeda, her best friend Carmon, her matron of honor Tan and her “man of honor” Kwame Waters.
The blushing bride was ushered in by her father, who also officiated the wedding.

In "Thanks To My Ex", Nelly croons that the mistakes of his ex had led him into the arms of another woman while his new lady is also on the rebound from a bad boyfriend. May is Black Music Month and to celebrate, EBONY magazine made a special tribute to the game changers in the music industry today. Check Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna and Kanye West cover EBONY’s newest issue inside…
Music titans Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna and Kanye West have landed on four different covers for EBONY Magazine’s Black Music Month special collector’s June issue. EBONY is celebrating the accomplishments of pioneers and industry leaders in the entertainment industry who have paved the way for younger generations.
Urban music writer Kevin Powell dished on writing the cover stories for the special issue, revealing similarities of musical greats from the past and present as they fall into the four categories, “Diva,” “Mogul,” “Rebel,” and “Poet.”
Kevin made an example of how Kanye and Tupac’s lives are recognized as the “poets” who defined their own rules saying,
In addition to Bey, Jay, Rih and Ye, the issue also highlights musical greats such as Usher, Prince, Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige. And they couldn’t forget to mention legendary artists such as Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Art Blakey who are all artists from the most respected running Jazz label, Blue Records. You can check out EBONY’s summer music special issues on newsstands May 6th. And in another magaine...
We gave you a sneak peek of legendary artist Prince gracing the cover of the June 2014 issue of Essence and now the official cover has surfaced. Under a new agreement with his old label Warner Bros., Prince dished on whether he will work with his band The Revolution again and dealing with record label execs that who would rather take long vacations over working.
Prince also released a statement recently, revealing he’s working on a new studio album saying,
