RUMOR CONTROL: Queen Latifah DENIES "Coming Out" At Long Beach Pride

Queen Latifah has just publicly denied that the May 19th performance at Long Beach’s Lesbian & Gay Pride event was her "coming out." Deets inside....

On May 19, actress/rapper/HSN mogul Queen Latifah performed at the 2012 Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Event.  And , of course, folks around the net assumed this was her way of "coming out of the closet."  Now, she's addressing the rumors that she "came out" during her performance.  She told Entertainment Weekly,

“That definitely wasn’t the case.  I’ve never dealt with the question of my personal life in public. It’s just not gonna happen.”

But don't take Queen's statement as a diss to the LGBT community.  She continued,

“To me, doing a gay pride show is one of the most fun things.  My first show that paid more than $10,000 was in a gay club on New Year’s Eve in San Francisco. Tupac happened to be in town, so he came to kick it with me. This was the early ’90s. And the boys were like, ‘Take your shirt off, Tupac!’ He wasn’t doing that. But we had a blast in there.”

Queen also addressed the bullying that many people in the community experience, saying,

“I know that the most important thing and the only thing I have to give is love. When people are going through hatred and bullying, the biggest thing to fight that is love.  So that’s all I encouraged my audience to do that night: to share their light and share their love. Period.” 

So there you have it.

GOLDEN: Mariah Carey Dons A Cut-Out Dress In Capri & Kicks It With DEM BABIES

Mariah Carey pulled out all the golden stops for her photoshoot in Capri, Italy yesterday.  Pics inside of Mrs. Cannon showing her post-twins bod and parlaying with Roc & Roe on a boat...

Snap snap.  It's photoshoot time for mama MiMi.  The superstar, who recently thanked her "Lambily" for helping her reach 7 million Twitter followers, was spotted aboard a boat dressed in a golden gown with cut-outs and a high slit shooting pics.

The Jenny spokeswoman, who has lost over 40 ponds already, recently told SHAPE magazine:

“Pregnancy was probably the best and the hardest thing I’ll ever go through. I know for a lot of women, it can be wonderful and relatively easy. But for me, it was like "Okay, honey, do you have to do everything the hard way?"'

'I used to be able to slim down just by exercising more, but that’s changed,' she told the magazine. 'Since having the babies, I realise that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet.'

 

And she switched into a cute little black dress for her next shots.

SPOTTED: Teyana Taylor FLAUNTS HER ABS In West Hollywood

21-year-old singer/rapper (and G.O.O.D. Music's First Lady) Teyana Taylor was spotted showing off her rock hard abs and hot black Celine bag in LA yesterday. See the pics inside.....

 

Teyana Taylor hopped out of her car and into the gym in West Hollywood yesterday.

 

And though Kelly Rowland landed the cover of EBONY's SEXY Issue, Teyana proved that she's not one to sleep on when it comes to rock hard abs and a cute curvacious little body.  

The "Bad Boy" singer spent the day with one of her good friends.

She recently tweeted about her "Bad Boy" video saying, "I'm happy with the way "bad boy" came out. It's hood & authentic! I don't think there could've been a better way to complement a bad boy. :)"

It was a night of record breaking, celeb gazing, and all out hysteria in Paris.  'Ye & Jay brought their Watch The Throne tour to Paris, fresh off their 5 nights of sold-out concerts at the O2 arena in London and stops in Switzerland and other places.

 

Pics inside of Beyonce cheering on her hubby, along with her besties Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Rowland and even The Dream & Spike Lee.  Plus, video of The Throne breaking their own record of performing "N*ggas In Paris"...

Backstage at the first of two shows at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy last night, The Carters kicked it with their celebrity friends while the crowd kept it crazy.

Spike Lee tweeted:

Tonight's Show Beat The Ones I Saw In NY,LA And London.Jay-Z/ Kanye Drove Paris Crowd Into Hysteria

And producer Hit-Boy had the honor of being asked up on stage (only other person to get that other than Rihanna) and tweeted:

“HOV didn’t just really call me on stage in Paris to crowd surf.  The Roc family is too real. I’m the 2nd person only to ever grace WTT stage.”

And chillin' in VIP, Kelly, Michelle, Bey, Dream Spike (and we also hear Amar'e Stoudemire and his baby moms were there too) partied it up while The Throne took the stage:

LOCKED UP: Floyd Mayweather Jr. SURRENDERS And Begins 3-Month Jail Sentence

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. turned himself in yesterday to begin a 3-month jail stint in Las Vegas for assaulting his baby mama back in 2010.  Get the deets inside....

We told you earlier about Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s conviction for assaulting his baby momma, Josie Harris, in front of two of their children in September 2010.  Yesterday, Floyd turned himself in at the Clark County Regional Justice Center to begin his 3-month jail stint at the Clark County Detention Center (minus 3 days for time already served) in downtown Las Vegas.  

Prior to turning himself in, Floyd has been on fairly good behavior, even being credited by Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa with attending weekly domestic violence counseling sessions.

His BFF rapper 50 Cent commented on the situation saying, "He'll be all right.  It's an uncomfortable situation for everyone.  Everyone has a different version of the same story.  It's no different than anyone going through a divorce and how your friends can become your vested enemies."

And don't assume that Floyd will get the star treatment from his prison mates.  He'll be housed in a solo cell (with no television) and will only be allowed out for one hour day.  Depending on his behavior, he could eventually be granted a few hours of exercise everyday with other inmates.

COUPLEDOM: Tracee Ellis Ross & Bu Thiam SPOTTED In Soho

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross was spotted with her boo Bu Thiam in New York yesterday leaving the Trump Soho hotel.  See pics of them leaving their hotel and kissing goodbye inside.....

 

Fab chick and "Reed Between The Lines" 39-year-old actress Tracee Ellis Ross was seen leaving the Soho Trump hotel with her 29-year-old record exec boo Bu Thiam (Akon's brother) yesterday.

The twosome kissed goodbye before Bu hopped in a cab.  Bu, who also hosts MTV's "Hip Hop POV", has been dating Ms. Ross for a while now.  Lucky guy.

They were also spotted earlier in the day grabbing lunch in Soho.  WORK Tracee.

Despite their fame, the duo is very hush hush about their romance and seem to maintain a low profile.  Tracee explained in a recent interview, “I am not going to hide my relationship, but I am not talking about it. When you do that, you invite other people and their opinions and issues in. You can’t discover the person on your own.”

Not mad at that.

Erykah Badu teamed up with The Flaming Lips for a remake of Robert Flack's classic "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."  Watch the controversial NSFW video (features nudity) inside.....

 

As if walking through Dallas buck naked wasn't enough, Erykah Badu has teamed with indie-rock band, The Flaming Lips, for another NSFW video.  

This go round, Erykah recorded "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," with the band and brought her sister Nayrok along for the ride.  

Directed by George Salisbury, the video features Erykah nude in a tub.......but it's her sister who shows all her T&A covered in glitter and cream.  And of course, some folks have some things to say about it on Twitter.

Erykah recently tweeted, @waynecoyne it looks beautiful. Nayrok ( lil sis) looks amazing . U are a Tru visionary .. My fav is the glitter .

Alicia Keys' husband Swizz Beatz just tweeted a pic of his very own "Bond Girl" as he calls her.  Check out Alicia's post-baby bikini bod (somebody's been working it OUT!) and Kelly Rowland being her gorgeous self on the cover of VEGAS magazine inside....

Alicia & Swizzy hit the beach recently, fresh off Alicia's speech at the 2012 Social Innovation Summit, and Mr. Keys wanted to show everybody what he gets to be all over on the daily.  He tweeted the above bikini pic of Alicia saying:

And no, she didn't shave her head.  Swizzy followed up with a tweet saying, "It's called a ponytail."  Ha!

Her boy gone very girly look is a Tom Ford navy blue tuxedo, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, TW Steel watch, Chopard necklace & her own earrings.

Keeping it pretty in a belted Michael Kors dress, a Tiffany & Co. ring, Ippolita & Judith Ripka bangles, Bulgari earrings & another TW Steel watch.

About her fourth album she's working on, Kel revealed to the magazine:

“I am more excited going into it this time than last time [her third solo studio album, Here I Am, came out in 2011], because I have a concept.  I’m making this album for my ladies, oh, yes, and it is strong. All of the producers I’ve been working with get the concept so much that they brought in a little more aggressive—and sometimes masculine—approach, but there is a really incredible top line: I want to tell women how incredible we are, how our intuition is so spot-on. Sometimes we don’t listen to it, but it is the thing that can actually make us happier.”

And why she's so grateful for her Destiny's Child start:

“Destiny’s Child was a huge part of my career, and I think it’s only natural for people to refer to Destiny’s Child when referring to any of us.  For people to call us one of the greatest female groups of all time—are you kidding me? Beyoncé and Michelle are two incredible women and deeper than what the public sees. Destiny’s Child, to me, was a sisterhood and a kinship that the three of us shared. You want people to respect that you have your own identity as an artist, but they also remember how they met you.”

MOMMY & ME: Nia Long & Baby Kez KEEP IT CUTE While Shopping In L.A.

It was a cutesy day of shopping for 41-year-old actress Nia Long & her 7-month-old baby boy Kez Sunday.  Yesterday in West Hollywood, the mommy and me twosome hit up Bel Bambini for some cutesy summer items.  And we've got the pics inside....

My how big he's gotten!  Fab chick Nia Long carried her ridiculously cute and cuddly bundle of joy out of the baby boutique yesterday in L.A.  Mom made faces at little Kez while they passed up balloons and took in the sunny day:

Look at those little booties!  Nia said in a recent interview how he was a breath of fresh air into her life:

Baby Kez Sunday has given me a bit of a rebirth and it's really nice because I'm able to look at life through his eyes. You have to pay attention to the smallest thing from the birds chirping to the dog barking across the street. These are the things that make the world go around today. When you look at life in its simplest form, stress and worry isn't the cornerstones of your life. Experiencing life through that lens is refreshing."

The ridiculously sexy Michale Ealy, who stars as cop Travis Marks on USA's "Common Law," is getting his due in Hollywood with a successful blockbuster film and now a second season of his tv show.  He's aso learned a few things about dating--like why he shouldn't date women in the industry anymore (which means there's hope for the non celebs out there!).  Check the highlights below:

On why he doesn't date industry chicks

“I’ve been done with [dating industry women].  You do it for years and years and years—theater, television, film. It’s a workplace thing... But the difference for me now is that I’m mature enough to know that this is a work thing. The minute we stop production, I’m not going to feel this way anymore.”

On why his past relationships were a bust

“I think there was a part of me that was just attracted to the crazy.  I tended to involve myself with women that brought drama. And I had a bit of a savior complex. I thought I could save them from whatever daddy issues or cheating issues [they had].”

“In the past, I was definitely known as a guy who took himself and his relationships a little too seriously. I won’t say that I always knew how to have a lot fun.”

Oh Michael.  I'm sure there's more than a few chicks who can teach you how to not take yourself so seriously boo....

Hoping to increase downloads of her "TMOTT" (The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor) mixtape, Teyana has dropped a viral video for the "Bad Boy" single. With an "official" video coming soon, the viral clip was shot and directed by Teyana herself and Rage.

Tv personality Christina Milian got her club on last night at the Roxbury in Hollywood.  And the place was full of celebs.

Chris Brown stopped through for the fun with girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

And by the end of the night.....he looked like he had a REAL good time.

G.O.O.D. Music's first lady Teyana Taylor was also spotted at the club.

And apparently bought a rose for her...girl.

Rapstress Eve is back home in Philly shooting her new ad campaign and mini-documentary for Reebok & Complex Magazine.  Check out the pics from the set inside, plus Solange Knowles' new ad campaign for Carol's Daughter's new Natural Hair Care Transitional System...

We love this chick.  Still keeping it cute and sexy in sneakers, E-V-E hit South Street in Philly and a few other places to shoot her mini-documentary for Reebok Classics & Complex Magazine.

The series will tell the intriguing stories of what it took for the shoes to become a Classic. The video interviews will include information on the participating artists and people that influenced them throughout their journey, as well as capture intimate live performances from each artist.

Eve is the subject of the first documentary that will be released June 2012.  She did an exclusive interview while out and about in her old neighborhood on South Street, made a visit to her old high school (Martin Luther King Jr. HS), and performed an intimate concert at Kung Fu Necktie in North Philly.

Cute look with the kiddies.

Nice.

Singers Kelly Rowland and Trey Songz are the cover subjects for EBONY's July 2012 SEXY issue.  Inside, both singers dish on their hot bodies and workout routines.  The duo, who starred in Trey's "Heart Attack" video, have two of the hottest bodies in the game.  But this party flyer style cover honestly is doing neither any justice. 

Kelly also flexed her bod for US Weekly where she discussed her regimen.  "When I first started working with [trainer] Jeanette [Jenkins] she would make me do 25 in one set. Now, I do 50.  I use my core for everything. Absolutely everything,"

She added, "When I'm dancing on stage, when I'm walking around. I have to make sure that my core is strong, it's tight."

Kelly also shot a video for the gossip mag discussing her body.   Check it out.....
