| Blondie Takes Inspiration From LMFAO Posted: 12 Jul 2011 01:45 PM PDT Ha! So awesome! Blondie, one of the best bands of the '70s and '80s, has revealed their inspiration for their upcoming album Panic of Girls and it's pretty out there! The band is looking to create a "current" sound similar to the Party Rock band LMFAO. They even want to have a wild crazy dance video similar to LMFAO's style! Lead singer Debbie Harry says:
Guitarist Chris Stein agrees. He says, "That video is one of the best dance videos I've ever seen. Their dancing is so tight." Known for their catchy pop dance songs, LMFAO seems like an unlikely source of inspiration, but actually, we can totally imagine the two groups merging and making amazingly catchy and fun music together. As for Blondie's new album, their first in eight years, Panic of Girls will be released in September. Sooo excited! [Image via WENN.] |

Along with a fifth Pirates flick and a Lone Ranger movie, Johnny Depp and Disney also have a Paul Revere film on the way AND a big-screen version of 1970s' TV series Kolchak: The Night Stalker. Does Johnny EVER sleep?!?!?! Last we checked, he was also shooting Dark Shadows with Tim Burton! Keep up the good work, Johnny...but try to catch an hour of sleep every couple of days if possible! | Could The Eighth Season Be The Last For Desperate Housewives? Posted: 12 Jul 2011 01:15 PM PDT We'd hate to see them go, but you can't argue with ratings. So the real question is: is ABC confident in finding another hit to replace Desperate Housewives, or do they want another year to look around? Everyone is signed back on for the 8th, with easy potential for the 9th. The higher ups are trying to decide right now if they want to go out with a bang this year or stretch it into next:
It's a shame to hear that they've lost about half their audience, that can't be a positive factor in bringing it back! We're kind of torn on this, because 8 seasons is no slouch for a series run. They've had their time and the ratings are starting to reflect a lack of interest. Despite how much we love those ladies, we can't help but wonder if the replacement could be fresh and mind-blowingly exciting! What do U want? A 9th season or a new show? [Image via WENN.] |

Posted: 12 Jul 2011 01:00 PM PDT Unfortunately, the release of this poster got really really really overshadowed by the Dark Knight Rises poster, which is a shame, because this one is cool too! And by cool, we mean scary. The original movie was absolutely terrifying, never knowing who you could trust! This one is shaping up to be very very similar, which is a good thing, and is actually a prequel despite having the same title as the one already made! Are U excited for The Thing? |

Well, that's exactly what we're getting because Jasmine Waltz is the star of a soon-to-be-released sex tape that she says was a Valentine gift for her boyfriend. And what's even more icky is that the video is said to feature scenes involving those cute little conversation heart candies. WTF? Way to ruin Valentine's Day for us! Of course she denies that she had any part of the video's release and doesn't know how it ended up on some website. Jasmine says:

Ever since her split from Alex Pettyfer, Dianna Agron has been spotted with new man Sebastian Stan, and according to sources close to the couple, it may not be just a rebound, after all! The Glee star was spotted at the Carrera Sunglasses Escape Sunday afternoon, where she was overhead telling friends how she and Stan are "in a really great place," before picking him up sunglasses and other swag! | From Oz To Ash! Sam Raimi To Remake Horror Cult Classic The Evil Dead! Posted: 12 Jul 2011 12:00 PM PDT Looks like director Sam Raimi is heading back to his roots! Last we heard from the versatile director, his upcoming Disney flick Oz: The Great and Powerful secured a release date of March 8, 2013. For his next flick, he'll say goodbye to Disney and hello to the dead, because he's planning to remake his 1981 horror cult classic The Evil Dead. Original Evil Dead trilogy star Bruce Campbell broke the news on his Twitter page, saying the following:
The coolest part about this remake? We're hearing that Sam Raimi, who's worked on huge budget movies like the Spider-Man trilogy, will make Evil Dead on a small budget to stay true to the original. | Another Booki By Snooki On The Way! Posted: 12 Jul 2011 11:50 AM PDT Usually they say "third time's a charm," but who knows? Maybe she'll have better luck with book #2! Back in January, Snooki's first book A Shore Thing was NOT selling well AT ALL. After four weeks on shelves, it had only sold 8,998 copies! Guess sales must have picked up though, because we've just learned that Snook has got a SECOND book the way, entitled Gorilla Beach. The book revolves around "Giovanna 'Gia' Spumanti and her cousin Isabella 'Bella' Rizzoli who 'are going to have the sexiest summer ever.'" Snooki book #2 is set for a May 2012 release...and yes, we know, we know, it's going to be tough to wait, but give the gurl a break! She is just TOO CUTE! We love her! Emma Watson stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman last night to promote her final film in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, and after the talk show host mentioned co-star Daniel Radcliffe's recent revelation that he struggled with a dependency on alcohol during shooting, he prodded the actress to open up about her OWN booze consumption, which resulted in some pretty HIGHlarious moments!
