NYC WHIRLWIND: Kelly Rowland Hits "106 & Park" And Hosts A Listening Party

Kelly Rowland has been in NYC all week promoting Here I Am including a stop by "106 & Park" and hosting a listening party at the Universal Motown Offices.  See the pics inside...

 

Kelly Rowland stopped by BET's "106 & Park" yesterday to promote the release of her Here I Am cd.  She rocked this figure hugging black and white dress with her nude strappy platform heels.

 

 

   

Later that evening, Kelly hooked up with Michelle and Beyonce at her album release party.

Loving the new sense of confidence the "X-Factor" judge is showing now.

Earlier in the week....

Kelly hosted a listening party for her new LP at the Universal Motown Offices in NYC.

Cute dress.

She posed next to her picture on the wall with other blockbuster Universal albums.

Then she sipped a cocktail and signed copies of her cd and posters.

CAPRI CANDIDS: Jennifer Williams, Mashonda, & Bow Wow's Mom Teresa Get Fab In Italy!

Last week Jennifer Williams of "Basketball Wives" rolled to Capri, Italy for a little fab vacay time with her girls Mashonda, her publicist/agent Deanna, and Bow Wow's mom Teresa Caldwell.

 

The ladies shopped it up and chilled with friends.  And looked fab while doing so.  Pics inside from their Italian coast getaway....

 

The ladies hired a paparazzo were spotted along the streets of Capri town last Friday. They (and their cute maxi dresses) shopped in boutiques, ate dinner at Villa Verde, and supposedly had the Italian men gawking at their presence, according to the photog:

Jen rocked a tie-dye side-cut-out maxi dress whole Mashonda rocked a black, yellow, and pink floral number with a cute head piece. 

Bow's mom Teresa owns Taste Boutique, where the ladies on "Basketball Wives" get much of their wardrobes from.

The group chowed on dinner in the fab city.

And kicked it around time.

Is This Eddie Murphy's New Chick? + Keri Hilson Strolls Through NYC

Eddie Murphy was spotted out at dinner with a new lady friend recently which has us wondering if he's coupled up again. Check out his new possible "friend" inside and pics of Keri Hilson....

 

 

Eddie Murphy went out to dinner last night at Mastro's steakhouse in Beverly Hills....

And his dinner companion was a mysterious woman in a short brown leather skirt and beige-peep toe shoes.

The duo dined at Mastro's in Beverly Hills which is known as one of the best places to get a steak in the U.S.

After dinner, the pair were spotted driving off together.  Hmm.....I guess she didn't take notes from Tracy or Mel B.

 

And in New York....

Keri Hilson was spotted leaving the ELLE offices yesterday in this cute look.

Ms. Hilson looked fab with her Gucci bag and khaki and green blouse and jeans.

 

She recently announced that she will join Lil' Wayne and Rick Ross at the Cruzan Amphitheatre on August 2 in West Palm Beach, FL.

Beyonce & Michelle Have A D-Child Reunion With Kelly Rowland At Album Release Party!

It was a big day and night for Ms. Rowland.  Kelly dropped her brand new solo album, Here I Am, and made her rounds in NYC from Planet Hollywood to "106 & Park" to her album release party at the top of the Standard Hotel.

 

Her "sisters" Michelle & Beyonce stopped by the album release, as did her other celebrity friends.  Pics inside...

Kelly partied it up to celebrate the release of her new album.  She hit the Standard Hotel with Estelle, Big Sean, and her girl Michelle Williams.

 

But Michelle wasn't the only D-Childer in the place.  Bey came out to party with her girls too:

 

She rocked a belted Lanvin long jumper with one puffy sleeve.  Loving this look. 

All 3 of the ladies rocked all black for the evening.  And Kelly looked stunning as usual in her sexy Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2011 dress:

She paired her dress with her fave Alejandro Ingelmo woven slingbacks.

The blue eyeliner is doing wonders.  Loves the pop of color.

Speaking of gorgeous color:

Tika Sumpter was there in this bright pink fab dress for the occasion.

Kelly kicked it with her homie Terrence J.

Industry execs Mike Kyser & Sylvia Rhone came out to support.

GREAT look for Michelle.  Love when she gets it right.  Cute shoes, cute makeup & hair.

Kevin Liles made his way to the party.

Kelly's party-hop model friend Jessica White rocked an interesting look.  Loving the dress by itself, but the drastically different blue shoes and clutch are doing things to my eyes.  And um, Maxwell, we barely recognized you.  What's really hood??

Estelle kept it simple in this long-sleeved blue dress and basketwoven gold heels.

And before the big party, Kelly threw on her pink cutoffs for her Planet Hollywood hand imprint ceremony:

SPORTS FAB: NBA Lockout May Send Ron Artest To "DWTS" & Carmelo Anthony To China

You can't expect the NBA's most talented players to sit around in rocking chairs doing nothing as the NBA lockout continues. So many are making "lockout" plans.  Sources say Ron Artest may be heading to "DWTS" while Carmelo Anthony may find himself wearing a jersey for China.

Many NBA superstars are plotting thier next moves just in case the NBA lockout continues longer that expected.  Mr. Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest, of the LA LAkers, is in talks with producers from "Dancing With The Stars" to join its cast next season. 

The show is desperate for A-list talent and has announced that it will bend the rules for A-list stars allowing them to pick their own costumes and practice as much....or as little as they want.  Hmmm....it would be interesting to see Ron on his mission for world peace while doing the cha cha slide.

And Carmelo Anthony may make his next move be out of the country. 

The NY Knicks baller said he would consider offers to play professional basketball in China if there is no resolution to the NBA lockout. 

When SNTV asked Carmelo why he might consider China, he replied,

"It's a lot of history here, the fans are great; why not, why not try it out?"

And Carmelo isn't the only one who may move overseas.  Sources say Kobe Bryant is in negotiations to play in Turkey.  But the more important question here is--how is LaLa going to continue her career of red carpet show-ups and paparazzi sessions with Kim K. all the way in China?  This lockout is just a tragedy for everyone....

Lauryn Hill Insinuates Rohan Marley Is NOT Her Newest Baby Daddy?

The official Lauryn Hill (MsHillMvngTrgt ) on twitter twit'pic'd an interesting msg to her followers Tuesday evening.  She tweeted @ Rohan Marley, her children's father, as well.  And she insinuated that, like Rohan previously said, her child she just delivered over the weekend is not Rohan's.  Deets inside...

 

We're still unclear if Lauryn & Rohan are even together anymore.  And L Boogie's newest message to her fans made us raise our eyebrows even more.

Rohan previously stirred up drama by alluding to the supposed fact that he is not the father of Lauryn's newest baby.  Seeing that they've been together for a very long time, and share 5 other children together, it caught the public off-guard.

Now, Lauryn's chimed in with the same sentiments as Rohan with this message:

Mr Marley and I have a long and complex history about which MANY inaccuracies have been reported since the beginning. To speculate without the facts can only cause people to form WRONG conclusions. We value privacy and for that reason defend and preserve our right to it. Contrary to numerous reports, Mr Marley did not abandon me while pregnant with his child. We have had long periods of separation over the years but our 5 children together remain a joy to us. Thank you for your concern and I appreciate all of the well wishes regarding the birth of my new son.

Interesting that she discusses THEIR 5 kids, but calls her 6th "hers".  But she does say there were long periods of separation.  SO I guess Lauryn will reveal the true father when she's ready.  Congrats again to Ms. Hill on the newest bundle of joy!

Nas is back in the studio and we have a new release/leak from him that features the soulful vocals of Keyshia Cole. Listen to the new track inside....

 

While Nas is in the studio working on a new disc called Life Is Good, a track featuring Keyshia Cole leaked earlier.  No word on whether this track is from the crates or something new and fresh the pair is working on,  but it's a pretty cool summer jam.

MAGAZINE FAB: Kelly Rowland Bares All For VIBE's August/September 2011 Juice Issue

We told you earlier about Kelly Rowland's revealing photos for her Here I Am disc, and now she's revealing even more of her body and about her life in the August/September 2011 issue of VIBE Magazine. Get highlights from her interview inside...

In the "Juice" issue of VIBE magazine, Kelly Rowland opens up for a revealing interview just in time for the release of her Here I Am album (in stores today). 

In the article she talked about her music career and the changes she has made, one of the biggest being the day she dumped Mathew Knowles as a manager. 

"I did, but I also felt like, 'Oh my God, what have I done?!' I stayed in the house for two days. I was sad. It was like a funeral. I had to deaden that situation in order to start fresh. That’s a very long time to have the same manager and the same label."

And when asked if she still speaks to Mr. Knowles she simply said, "... I respect him above anything."

She also talked about how she feels when being constantly compared to Beyonce.

 

"...I said in an interview recently, 'You know, if you guys would be a little bit more intelligent and ask me about myself we’ll have a much better interview.' You can’t want a story from me and keep asking me about the past."

 

She also commented on her good girl image and how people were shocked by the "sexy" subject matter of "Motivation."   

"Every woman knows what that feels like—hopefully. But everyone doesn’t expect Kelly to sing about it. This is true. But I just loved the song so much. And yes, I can relate to it. I came into my sexuality while I was recording this album. I can walk into a sex shop now and not worry about what people would say if they saw me in there."

VH1 is readying for the new seasons' reality shows of two of its most popular stars, LaLa Anthony and Terrell Owens. Get the deets on their shows inside...........

 

La La Anthony returns to VH1 on Monday, August 22 with "LA LA'S FULL COURT LIFE" at 9:00PM ET/PT.

We've already seen La La preparing for her wedding to NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, and this time around, we watch the couple adjust to living in the spotlight in New York City.

 

Shown above with Kelly Rowland, Dice And Po, we'll La La juggle her busy acting and television hosting career and we meet her famous friends including 50 Cent, Trina , Serena Williams and Ciara.

CANDIDS: Chris Brown Shooting Hoops For NIKE + Keri Hilson's Rainy Stroll Through NYC

Chris Brown was spotted playing basketball out in Cali yesterday and we have pics of the "She Ain't You" singer inside. Also, see Keri Hilson strolling through NYC in the middle of a rainstorm.

Yesterday, Chris Brown participated in the Nike Real Run Tournament in Los Angeles with a few NBA ballers. 

 

 
 

 

Before the game, Chris tweeted
“Bout to play wit my homie Lebron at the Nike real run tournament at inglewood highschool today!! Gonna be crazy!”

And afterwards, he said: 
“Thx to all the fans who came to the game today!!! We won! James Harden, Cuttino Mobley, Marcus Williams, had a [b]last!!! Shout out to Quebeey!”

 

 

And in NYC.......

Keri Hilson went shopping in the rain yesterday in NYC.

Protected by her umbrella, the singer hit up Zara, Diesel and a few others.


 

And when Keri's arms got tired, her bodyguard protected her from the rain.

 

In other Keri news....

She sparked outrage among her fans when she posted a pic of herself on Twitter with an Amy Winehouse impersonator recently.

After folks got upset, she wrote

"Come on, I mean no harm. All due respect. But really the resemblance freaked me out. This was simply the best tribute ever. RIP AMY WINEHOUSE... I apologize 2 anyone who might've taken it the wrong way. As a fan, I thought it was cool that she dressed up to honor Amy. I had no ill intent, but I understand how it appears insensitive..." "my bad twitterville. For real."
