Posted: 18 Jul 2011 11:25 AM PDT I never thought anyone could make better use of the song “Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangsta” than Office Space, but this Game of Thrones-inspired parody “Damn It Feels Good to Be a Lannister” is pretty fucking rad. Teresa Giudice Wants to Sell You Makeup Posted: 18 Jul 2011 11:00 AM PDT Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is trying to be the next Bethenny Frankel. It’s normal for Housewives to pursue a side project or two – like a single, a book, or a clothing line – but Teresa is branding anything she can get her hands on. After the success of her two Skinny Italian cookbooks, Teresa told Crushable that she was planning to launch her own cocktail, the Fabullini. She’s not the only Housewife to branch out into alcoholic beverages: Real Housewives of New York‘s Ramona Singer has her own branded pinot grigio, and former NY Housewife Bethenny has a Skinnygirl Margarita. So why stick with just food and drink? Teresa announced via her website that she’s now launching a line of cosmetics, TG by Teresa Giudice. She wrote that she was in Florida for a beauty industry trade show and added, “My first products are nail polish, lip gloss and lipstick. The packaging looks so hot, the makeup is so great, I LOVE it! I’ll let you know where you can buy it soon!” Five dollars says that all the packaging is leopard print. But I guess we should just be grateful that Teresa hasn’t joined the long list of Housewives (and househusbands) who have put out horrible autotuned singles yet, right? The Women’s World Cup: An Introduction Posted: 18 Jul 2011 10:48 AM PDT The Women’s World Cup finals were yesterday. The Cup ended with a rousing game between the US and Japan teams, ultimately ending with a victory for the latter. While we may have lost, Americans have definitely found a new sport to go crazy over – and with good reason. Next are the seven basic elements of the games, and why you should care. Posted: 18 Jul 2011 10:35 AM PDT Redditor sweet_acid posted these pictures of her nail art, which was inspired by superheroes. Can you match the nail design to the superhero? And can anyone tell me how in the hell you get such a perfect bat on such a small surface without messing up? Related posts: Post from: Crushable |

Andrew Garfield Manages to Look Hot Even With His Face Covered Posted: 18 Jul 2011 09:51 AM PDT Entertainment Weekly has some new pictures of Andrew Garfield in Spiderman mode, and it’s amazing how the dude manages to be smokin’ even when he’s completely covered up. Luckily, there are some photos of Andrew without his mask on, too. Emma Stone is one lucky girl.

Questionable Choices: Kristin Cavallari’s Glass Bikini Posted: 18 Jul 2011 09:35 AM PDT Once when I was swimsuit shopping, I came across a velvet maillot with the following label: “Do not wear in water.” The idea of a bathing suit that you can’t wear for, well, bathing has always seemed pretty crazy to me, but I guess there’s a market for “thing to wear while lounging near water, even though I refuse to go in it.” At a party in Miami for Skyy Vodka, former Hills star Kristin Cavallari sported this really cute blue swimsuit. It turns out, though, that the suit was covered in tiny pieces of glass. Doesn’t that seem like it would be a disaster to put on? One false move and you’re bleeding profusely from the fingers. And I guess glass is better in the water than velvet, but wouldn’t that shit be heavy? Related posts: Post from: Crushable |
Snap This: Marvel Superheroes’ New York City Digs Posted: 18 Jul 2011 09:24 AM PDT Sure, the latest trend is to remake famous comic book heroes’ origin stories, but have you ever stopped to think about where they literally come from? The New York Post points out that we can beam with hometown pride for quite a few of Marvel’s superpowered crimefighters, who can trace their humble beginnings to Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. (Plus a few not-so humble childhoods in Westchester… but it’s still New York!) NYC is so fitting as the concrete jungle that Spidey, Cap, and especially Daredevil know as well as the back of their respective gloved hands — what city is simultaneously the symbol of glamor and reinvention, plus the haven for the common man? As you might have guessed by now, the choice for setting grew out of the fact that original Marvel creators Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, and Joe Simon were also New York boys. And it’s not just lip service in the movies: Co-writer Stephen McNeely hinted that Captain America will include a big shakedown set in Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) hometown of Brooklyn. Celebrity Lookalikes: Casting an IRL ‘Winnie the Pooh’ Posted: 18 Jul 2011 09:14 AM PDT The new Winnie the Pooh movie’s out! As much as we love those animated characters, we kind of wish the thing were live action, though. Even if only to see who’d be cast as whom. So we took it upon ourselves to cast the flick as we see fit. Anyone who disagrees can take it up with Christopher Robin. Related posts: Post from: Crushable |
