Who Needs A Release To Break Records? Final Harry Potter Doesn't!

The final Harry Potter film set to release this Thursday at midnight is already destroying records left and right -- even ones that aren't specific ticket sales!

Check it:

3,000 3D locations (4,250 3D screens) - motion picture industry record

274 IMAX venues - another industry record

120 Premium Large Format cinemas - an industry record

270 drive-ins - an industry record

Holy shizz!

It'll be dropping into AT LEAST 3,800 theaters this Thursday night, expanding in at least 4,375 theaters and 11,000 screens on Friday.

And those numbers are still climbing with 48 hours to go.

Oh, did we mention these:

Already Warner Bros naticipates 300 Harry Potter marathons playing all seven of the movies ending at midnight Thursday with the 8th unreeling. There are 1,100 theaters planning to play HP 7A into 7B that midnight. "We are positioned to exceed the largest Harry Potter opening box office of all time," a Warner Bros top exec tells me confidently. Remember, it's already the largest-grossing franchise in motion picture history.

Remember that 48 hours to go? Yeah, those count towards the Fandango pre-sale tickets too -- something which the final Potter already holds the record for top ticket seller of 2011. It's on its way to getting the #2 presale spot of all time in the 11 years Fandango has been around, and approaching the top-dog that is New Moon!

This is going to be one INtense weekend for everything Harry Potter! We can't wait to see how the movie does... and we can't wait to see the movie PERIOD!

Daniel Baldwin Files For Divorce Due To Wive's Problems With Alcohol And Drugs

Only one day after getting a temporary restraining order against his wife of four years, Daniel Baldwin has filed for divorce.

The Baldwin brother says it's all over drugs and alcohol:

Due to recent events in our home and for the safety of my children and myself, I have made this decision. I have had my share of problems with drugs and alcohol many years ago and know first hand how difficult a position she is in.

Sad!

We hope his wife can get the treatment she needs so their family can move forward.

Arnold Was Set To Sign The Biggest Book Deal Of All Time - BEFORE Affair Scandal!

We've reported that every book publisher imaginable is attempting to land a multi-million dollar tell-all deal with Maria Shriver, and apparently, sources close to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Arnold Schwarzenneger, have revealed that is all sorts of miffed because before his affair - and lovechild - with housekeeper Mildred Baena was exposed, it was HE who was about to sign "the biggest book deal of all time."

Insiders revealed that up until a month before his life turned upside down, the governator's lawyers were gearing up for a nice post-memoir payout, and he was even searching for a ghost writer!

They explain:

"He wanted to break a record with his payout. No woman is going to pay to read Arnold's story through his eyes. Maria has a story to tell, and she's a known, best-selling author."

Meanwhile, his rep confirms:

"I can confirm that the governor is considering a memoir and has looked at offers from different publishers."

Yeah! Fat chance now, buddy!

Personally, we can't imagine how he could possibly think that after what he put his family through, he has any business attempting to justify his behavior through writing, or any other medium, for that matter!

So sad.

Britney Spears has never been known best for abilities as a singer, but it's easy to forget that although the pop star's range may not be as powerful as some of her peers, she actually has a LOVELY voice, which you can hear for yourself in the just-released, auto-tune free version of her debut single from Femme Fatale, Hold It Against Me!

Nice, gurl! It's amazing how different the vocals are without any processing!

It really makes the tone of the track entirely different!

We know that a lot of the material on the latest album was supposed to sound overly distorted for aesthetic purposes, but if this is how she still sounds clean, then we hope on her next project she really shows off her voice again!

Farewell William And Kate, We'll Miss You!!!

We hope you all got your fill of Will & Kate news last week, because you won't be hearing much more for a while.

Having spent every hour since the wedding on honeymoon or their North American tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided to stay under the radar and just live the simple life as man and wife.

Or as simple as you can get being royalty...

Prince William wants to focus on his flying, moving toward his goal of becoming captain. As for Kate, she really wants to use her royalty to make a difference in the world.

With sports and arts therapy as her main interests, we're sure that won't be a problem.

SIGH! We're sad to see them go out of the spotlight, but we guess we understand.

You guys deserve some quiet time together. Make that marriage the best it can be!

Charlaine Harris And Alan Ball Discuss MAJOR True Blood Spoiler

Did you see this week's True Blood?

Good, wasn't it?? Were you surprised with the ending??

In case you didn't see Sunday's episode, there was a pretty major DEATH at the end of the episode that had a lot of fans wondering, "Why?"

Well, creator Alan Ball and author of the books Charlaine Harris have some answers for you.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

Eric, played by the amazing ASkars, was seen feeding off of Sookie's fairy godmother Claudine, which doesn't happen until much later in the books.

Ball says:

"After everything that was going on with the fairies in the first episode, I think we wanted to sort of put a pin in that, but obviously it's not over. I felt it would have more impact if it was someone we knew as opposed to just a random fairy."

Thankfull, author Charlaine was cool with Alan's decision to kill her off.. She adds:

"If we did just do everything in the books, there would be no surprises. It's not like we have a formula for what we're going to keep from the books and what we're going to change. If there's a consensus that something makes sense, that's usually the way we go. If he can be gracious to me, I can certainly be gracious enough to wait and see where he's going."

As for the rest of this shocking season, Alan says:

"It gets ugly between the vampires and the witches. There's more than one fight coming up. There's also a very unexpected romantic attachment which you'll start to see the beginnings of I believe in next week's episode. We're gonna find out a lot about Jesus' magic that's in his family. We're gonna get to the bottom of what's going on with Arlene's baby."

Sooo excited! Just keep giving us Vampire Eric and we'll be satisfied!

Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp were recently seen enjoying a romantic date together in Rome.

Strolling the streets arm and arm, they found a bench to rest on and share kisses.

As romantic as the evening was, the couple later refused a rose from a flower seller

Apparently offended by their rejection, the flower boy reportedly said "romance is dead!"

Ouchie, you lovebirds! You just broke his heart.

But not ours! Keep being precious!!!

Nadine Coyle is still attempting to break into US mainstream with her new single, Sweetest High, and performed it live for the first time in the states as a solo artist at Vito's Fun Middle Tea at the Fire Island's Pines Pavilion last night!

Gurl sounds GREAT, and it looks as though she's having a lot of fun, so although we would have liked to see her move a little more, we're pretty impressed!
