Jill Scott Says She Was 'Dickmatized' But Now Knows How To Handle It

In the latest issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine, Jill Scott talks about her views on sex and relationships revealing that she used to be "dickmatized." And I KNOW most ladies can relate. Get the deets inside...

During an interview with S2S, Jill Scott revealed that she used to be "dickmatized." And what does that mean? She said,

“Where you get caught up in the whole sexuality of your relationship but it’s not going anywhere… Just somebody giving you the goods but not necessarily giving you the rest-or not expecting the rest from them.”

She continued,

“What I’ve discovered is, although it may be a lot of fun, it is also a waste of time and you might be blocking your blessing-blocking somebody who wants to be more to you than just a great time in your life.”

So I guess we now know what experiences inspired her hit "Rolling Hills" which also talks about women valuing themselves.

Jill, who just headlined the Essence Fest ended by saying,

“Just realizing what I have to offer. I’m so much more than my flesh!”

So Amar'e Stoudemire's Back With His Baby Mama & Ex-Girlfriend Alexis?

Last night, NY Knick Amar'e Stoudemire hit the ESPY red carpet with his baby moms Alexis. It seems he always wants that old thing back as he intermittently gets boo'd up with industry chicks like Ciara and Amber Rose at the same time.

Well isn't this interesting. According to internet rumors Amar'e and Ciara broke up last month, soon after Ciara was all too happy to tell the world they were officially a couple. Over the past few months, Ci an A publicly hit the beach, a red carpet or two, and a few parties together once their official status was announced. So maybe Amar'e's ESPY red carpet date is the reason for their sudden "break-up."

Alexis tweeted last night: Had an amazing time @ the ESPYs.

He arrived with Alexis, his baby moms and ex-girlfriend. Interestingly, he also brought Alexis on his trip to Jerusalem last year, right before the rumors of him and Ciara started to surface. And it was only a couple months before he was spotted getting boo'd up with Amber Rose. Not sure if he had officially broken up with Alexis beforehand, but he did go pretty public with Ciara just a few months ago.

And it looks like he's bounced right back to Alexis. Must be nice to be a man and have all these options...at the same time...even after publicly claiming one (or more) as your girl. They like it, I love it.

A few of our fave YBF actors were just nominated for the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards! Deets inside....

The Primetime Emmys don't go down till this fall. But the nods were handed out earlier this morning, and a few YBF folks scored.

Fab chick Taraji P. Henson was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Mini-Series/Movie for her touching portrayal of a mother searching for her son in the Lifetime movie, "Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story."

The sexy Idris Elba landed a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Mini-Series/Movie for his Birtish psychological crime drama title role in "Luther" on BBC One. And vet Laurence Fishburne was nominated in the same category for his "Thurgood Marshall" role on HBO. Idris also copped a nod for Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series for his role on "the Big C" on Showtime.

Also, "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"--which stars house band The Roots--grabbed a nod for Oustanding Variety Show. While Tracy Morgan & "30 Rock" were nominated for Outstanding Comedy series and other categories. And "The Cleveland Show" --with actors Reagan Gomez, Sanaa Lathan, and more--landed a nomination for Outstanding Animated Series.

For Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series--Loretta Devine was nominated for playing the Chief's wife/ex-wife, Adele Webber, on "Grey's Anatomy." And Alfre Woodard was nominated for playing "Lafayette"'s mom on "True Blood"--Ruby Jean Reynolds.

Sidenote: My fave show "Modern Family" grabbed tons of nods once again.

SPOTTED: Rihanna Relaxing Poolside In Miami With A Bottle Of Tequila

Taking a break from her blockbuster tour, Rihanna was spotted chilling at a poolside cabana at a Miami hotel yesterday.

Rihanna was spotted walking to the poolside bar at her hotel in Miami recently in a cute sheer bikini cover up.

Along the way she posed for photos with a fan.

Once at the bar, the new face of Emporio Armani's lingerie line took a phone call and grabbed some drinks for her friends. How nice of her.

And what did she order to get the party started? Tequila!

I'm sure she and her BFF/assistant Melissa had a great afternoon after hitting the poolside bar.

It's like prom night for the pro-athletes. The 2011 ESPY Awards went held tonight at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA tonight.

Kerry Washington looked sexy and stunning in this short silver beaded Jenny Packham mini dress.

Then she posed with Eddie George.

Dirk Nowitzki showed up with his girlfriend Jessica Olsson.

Well...Serena surely pushed 'em up and out tonight didn't she?

Last night, some of our favorite YBF celebs were in L.A. to celebrate the biggest night in the sports industry, The ESPYs. See pics of Gabrielle Union, Serena Williams and Amar'e Stoudemire at the ESPYs Pre-party inside.

Last night, Hennessy's Official ESPY Kick-Off Party was held and Serena Williams and Gabrielle Union were among the attendees.

Amar'e Stoudemire also walked the red carpet looking dapper as usual.

Christina Milian looked stunning in her gold ensemble.

LaLa Anthony aka The First Lady of The NBA (the title THEY gave her, not us) was there in her summer white.

Soul singer Estelle was also in town to walk the carpet. And we like the netted sleeve.

Jermaine Dupri was also spotted enjoying himself during an interview with LaLa.

Hottie Boris Kodjoe was there.

And so was Eva Marcille.

And Regina King rocked a pink and white look.

*POLICE DOCUMENT INSIDE* Nicki Minaj Hit In The Face With A Suitcase By "Unidentified Male"

As Nicki Minaj spent her morning denying reports that she was hit in the lower lip by a mystery male in their hotel room in Dallas over the weekend, the police report has just been unveiled. And as we predicted it proves a physical altercation indeed took place.

Check out what really went down and the police report inside...

Reports flew yesterday that 28-year-old Nicki Minaj and an "unidentified male" got into a hostile argument that started at their hotel pool and ended in the hotel room they were sharing. Nicki did not want to press charges, but the police were called and a report was taken.

Nicki denied any altercation took place. And while she may not have been punched in the face with a fist, according to recently revealed docs, she did tell Dallas police on the evening of July 11th that she was indeed hit in the face with a suitcase by said male at Hotel Palomar.

Now, the police report, gathered by the Dallas Observer, details that once Nicki and the mystery man took the argument back to the room, she "told him she didn't want him taking anything out of the room." The male's suitcase and personal belongings were in the room. Then, as he was packing his suitcase up, he "shoved the suitcase across [Nicki's] chin and lower lip."

Other sources report another part of the police report state that Nicki's teeth cut the inside of her lower lip once hit with the suitcase, causing it to bleed.

Despite her rumored boyfriend and hype man Safaree tweeting that same night he was poolside as well, he's claiming now that he has never and will never hit a woman. And the media is "bogus" for reporting this "false story." Well police reports rarely, if ever, lie. And he's well aware the mystery man sounds a lot like him.

And whether you're hit with a hand or hit with a suitcase, and no charges filed, this ish aint ok. Especially when you claim to be THE role model for young girls and "barbz." Just sayin'....
