Listen: A Less Produced Version Of ‘Hold It Against Me’ By Britney Spears Hits The Internets

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 05:30 PM PDT

The folks at Idolator stumbled upon a previously unheard recording of Britney Spears‘s single Hold It Against Me. Apparently, this recording features Britney’s “raw” vocals before they were autotuned by producers in the studio. The instrumentation sounds about the same as the original single but her vocals are deffo more pared down. Click below to give the track a listen and see what you think.

Firstly, Britney sounds amazing. Secondly, I love that her vocals aren’t so processed on this version of the track. I get that they were going for a sound on the album but this track proves that Britney can not only sing but she can sing well. Ladies and gentlemen, our Living Legend! Doesn’t this track sound fantastic? LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Channing Tatum Goes Bald For ‘GI Joe: Cobra Strikes’

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 04:30 PM PDT

Production has begun on the upcoming sequel film G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes and lead actor Channing Tatum, who plays Joe leader Duke, is showing off his new hair’do. As you can see from the photo below, Channing shaved off all of his hair for the role … which, IMHO, doesn’t take away ONE BIT from his hawtness. I say, Yo Joe!

He’s known for his good looks – but model-turned-actor Channing Tatum has decided to sacrifice his crowning glory for the sake of his art. It’s thought the 31-year-old star has shaved off his dark brown locks as he beings to film his role in the new GI Joe movie, Mail Online can reveal. It’s not known what his 30-year-old wife Jenna Dewan thinks of his new look – the couple have just celebrated their second wedding anniversary. There’s been no word yet from Channing’s representatives about why he has specifically shaved his head, but he has confirmed that he’s set for the new GI Joe. Also signed up alongside Channing in GI Joe: Cobra Strikes, are Sienna Miller, Ray Stevenson, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and possibly Bruce Willis as General Joe Colton. The Rock confirmed today on his Twitter that they had started on the movie, writing: ‘Long day of prep for GI Joe. Special Forces fatigues look strong. Time for Don Julio and new episode of Hard Time.’

Shaved or not, I approve. As far as I can remember, Duke never went bald in the cartoon version of G.I. Joe. He always rocked the blonde hair … but in the first G.I. Joe movie, Channing wasn’t blonde so … clearly they’re taking some liberty with the character. As I’ve said many times before, I loved G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra so I’m very much looking forward to the sequel. Bald or not, I’m sold.

First Look: Lindsay Lohan In ‘Plum’ Magazine

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 02:36 PM PDT

Back in May we saw photos of Lindsay Lohan in Miami, FL posing for a Plum Miami magazine photoshoot just days before she was due to surrender herself for house arrest (which she has since completed). Today we get our first look at L. Lo in Plum and we get a taste of her behavior on the shoot set as reported by the interviwer. As you can read below, Lindsay was not fun to work with on this shoot … which, let’s be honest, should come as no surprise to anyone.

“A recent trip to Miami, during which Plum hosted the troubled starlet, was thought to be yet another second chance, but, alas, it was not. So no, this is not Lindsay Lohan's comeback story—at least not yet. While there was an upcoming stint of house arrest to deal with stemming from Necklace-Gate, Lindsay seemed ready for a mellow "working" vacation in South Beach (if such a notion actually exists). On a recent Friday afternoon, I picked her up at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, which entailed greeters and bodyguards—and, unwittingly, one lone paparazzo. (Once alerted to Lohan's presence in Miami, though, the shutterbug posse rapidly multiplied into a flash-driven herd.) In the chauffeured Lincoln Navigator, it was all about puffing Parliament Lights and Miami chit chat with her entourage. Lindsay was disarmingly honest, to the point of TMI. There were conversations about recovery (ironically, over wine), her favorite TV show (The Borgias) and hints about her father's not-so-stellar past. As we pulled up to the Fontainebleau, a bright-orange parking cone was blocking the entrance. “Move that cone. I'm Lindsay Lohan." And it was done. This foreshadowed the arrogance and demanding personality she exhibited as her sweet-girl façade started slipping. When it came to the clothes, however, Lindsay revealed her true fashionista side and made a beeline for the racks filled with designer frocks from Chanel, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Herve Leger, Badgley Mischka, Halston and Maison Martin Margiela. She would perk up for several minutes and then fade again. The hangers-on in her camp didn't help matters much. They were either enabling or agitating her, sometimes simultaneously. Monday morning was supposed to be check-out time, but Lindsay and her posse refused to leave. I never got my interview (although I did get a chic necklace out of the deal). My associates and I were exhausted from the constant demands, drama, outbursts, cancellations and tsoris from the Lohan clique.”

I mean … duh, what do you expect? In addition to the release of this one photo, Plum has also released behind the scenes video from the photoshoot … if you care:

Does anyone really believe that Lindsay is trying to clean up her act? I mean … really? LOL.

First Look: ‘Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Releases A First Movie Poster & A New Trailer

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 01:48 PM PDT

Thus far, there have been 2 trailers released for the upcoming prequel film Rise of the Planet of the Apes and, until this week, no posters have been released. Back in April we got to see the teaser trailer then in June we got to see a great, full length trailer. Today, we not only get another trailer but we also get to check out the first one sheet poster for Apes, which you can check out below.

Rupert Wyatt’s RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES looks to compete in the cruel market of summer blockbusters, opening in the states August 5th. As such, the promo onslaught’s been pretty intense. You’ve seen trailers, viral footage, TV spots galore…and now an even fresher one-sheet for the film has been unfurled. An international one! RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.

Except for the fact that my brain will NOT be able to suspend belief long enough to believe James Franco to be a genius scientist, I am VERY MUCH looking forward to the release of this film. The CGI looks amazing. I’m really curious to see how this prequel will play out … we know how the story ends, but we don’t know how it begins. Very soon, early next month, we will see how Earth fell to the apes. I can’t wait!

My Birthday With Prince Charming

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 12:44 PM PDT

After spending an amazing night with an amazing group of friends on Monday night, I spent my actual birthday yesterday with David at Disneyland. I had so much fun at Disney last year that I wanted to recreate that magic this year … and we did … in spades. I really had a fantastic birthday … mostly due to being able to spend it with David, my real life Prince Charming :)

The stuffed Dumbo above was won for me by David. It’s adorable, ain’t it? Normally when we visit Disneyland, we get photos with either Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse … but never with them both at the same time. Our luck changed last night. We were waiting in line for Minnie and then Mickey came out to pose for photos as well:

It was just the perfect Disneyland visit. On our way home from the park, we swung by Emma and Josh’s place for one final birthday toast, capping off the best birthday ever. I want to extend my love and thanks to you ALL for all the kind wishes. It’s really something to feel so much love from so many people … I don’t take it for granted and truly appreciate your taking the time just to say Hello or Happy Birthday. So thank you.

A few Pink readers have asked me if they can send cards or some other gifts for my birthday … which is kind but absolutely unnecessary. But, if you’d like to do something, you can donate to David’s sisters Eden Hauslaib (HERE) or Lara Hauslaib (HERE) who are running this Fall in the Nike Women’s Marathon in SF to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They are both working very hard to raise as much money as they can to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and any little thing you might be interested in donating will help immensely.

Again, thank you all … and MUCH MUCH love to each and every one of you. I really had the best birthday … and words really cannot convey what y’all mean to me :D

New Mama Mariah Carey Makes Her Way To London

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 10:55 AM PDT

Last week we got our first real good look at new mom Mariah Carey out and about in public for the first time since she was released from the hospital with her twin babies back in May. Today we get to see new photos of Mimi lookin’ FAB in London as she parties with Joan Collins and others. I presume she is in London with dem babies but, obviously, the twins are nowhere to be seen in the party pics below. Check ‘em out.

Diva Mariah Carey lived up to her billing here in London last night. The mother of newborn twins (Monroe and Moroccan Cannon) was snapped partying it up with Joan Collins (pictured) among others at a private function here in the nation's capital. Having given birth only a few months ago, the 41 year old looked undeniably stunning. We can only hope she kept it light on the drinks, for when she ditched the bottle during her pregnancy, her voice sounded better than it had in years. Just saying…

I love Mimi … she has a mother’s glow which suits her very well. I really love seeing these photos of Mariah but DANG IT, I wanna see dem babies! I’m sure Monroe and Moroccan Scott are so big already. Hopefully we’ll get our first look at the twins before the Summer is over at least … dang. I’m not sure what Mimi is doing in London these days (other than partying) but I’m sure we’ll hear something soon. She looks amaze, don’t she?

‘True Blood’ Actress Mariana Klaveno Joins The Cast Of ‘Dexter’

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 09:54 AM PDT

Got some great Dexter casting news to pass along today … according to Deadline, Mariana Klaveno — who plays a villainous vampire on HBO‘s True Blood — has signed on for a guest starring arc on Showtime‘s Dexter. You TB fans know that Klaveno plays a pretty wicked vamp on the show … so her casting on a wicked series like Dexter sounds like perfect casting to me. Click below for the deets.

Mariana Klaveno has booked a recurring role on Showtime’s Dexter. She will play Carissa Morris, a professor at Florida University. Klaveno recently guest starred on CBS' Hawaii Five-O and plays a vampire on HBO's True Blood. She is repped by APA and Shelter Entertainment.

I LOVE this casting! Mariana is so good on True Blood, I know she’ll be great on Dexter. To be honest, she reminds me a bit of Jamie Murray, the actress who played Lila on Dexter season 2. Both women have a dangerous look about them. It’s unclear if Mariana‘s character, Professor Carissa Morris, will be a goodie or a baddie … but I hope she’s a baddie. I can’t wait to see her her in action when Dexter season 6 premieres this Fall.

First Look: The ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer Leaks To The Internets

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 08:40 AM PDT

Yesterday we got our first look at the first teaser poster for the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and today we get to check out an early look at the first movie trailer. This first Dark Knight Rises trailer wasn’t supposed to debut until the first showings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 this weekend but, as luck would have it, a bootleg version of the trailer (recorded in a movie theater somewhere) has leaked its way online. Check it out in full below.

Okay … it’s a teaser trailer so that’s what we got … teased. Much of the footage is from the previous 2 films but there are flashes of cool new stuff … like Tom Hardy as Bane! We also hear the chant Bane, Bane mátalo which first appeared in THIS Batman viral video last month. This looks to me like a GREAT first taste of what to expect from The Dark Knight Rises. I was really hoping we’d get a glimpse (at least) of Anne Hathaway in costume as Catwoman but, I suppose, that’s something they are saving for later. I am going to an early showing of Harry Potter Thursday night so I’ll have to make sure and get there early to see this trailer in person. It’s a bit dark but you get the gist of what this trailer is trying to tease. Do you like this trailer? Doesn’t it make you NEED to see more?

UPDATE: It looks like Warner Bros. is yanking down the leaked trailer all over … so until we can find a working embed, here are 3 key screencaps from the trailer that you need to see:

Commissioner Gordon is featured most in the clip but we do get a quick look at Bane and a really dark look at Batman. Hopefully WB will just release a high res version of the trailer since it already leaked.

Britney Spears’s Mom Lynne Spears Is One Hot Grandma

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 08:10 AM PDT

Our dear Britney Spears brought her Femme Fatale Tour to Dallas, TX this week which means her family was in town with her. While Britney was, presumably, taking care of business elsewhere, her mother Lynne Spears took the grandbabies out for a swim in their hotel pool in Dallas. Grandmama Lynne was lookin’ pretty smokin’ hot in her bathing suit, as you can see below, all while making sure to take good care of her grandkiddies.

Giving her daughter Britney a run for her toned bod money, 56-year-old Lynne Spears flaunted her slammin’ grandmotherly figure in a sexy bathing suit while swimming in a Dallas hotel pool with her grandchildren. Damn.

Yes, Lynne looks hot … but that’s not really why I love this photo. I love how all the grand kids — Sean Preston, Jayden James and Maddie Briann (daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears) — are just floating around in the pool like little sea nymphs. This is a really cute picture, y’all. Hahahaha.

‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows’ Releases A First Movie Trailer

Posted: 13 Jul 2011 07:37 AM PDT

Back in February we learned that the upcoming sequel to Sherlock Holmes was given the subtitle A Game of Shadows. Today we get our first look at the first movie trailer released for the film. As you may recall, we learned last year that the star of the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo film Noomi Rapace was cast as the female lead in the film … and she is the first person we get to see in this new trailer. Check it out below.

Yes! I am so excited. I really loved the first film and this follow-up looks just as fun. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law make a great pair … the addition of Noomi Rapace will make this sequel amazing. She is utterly fantastic in the original Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo films, so I know she can hold her own in this film. I’m excited that Holmes‘s arch nemesis Professor James Moriarity has finally made his appearance. This is a great first look at a film that I am much-anticipation. It looks great, don’t it?
