| Amy Winehouse's Back To Black Jumps To #1 On iTunes Posted: 24 Jul 2011 11:40 AM PDT Following the news that Amy Winehouse had passed away on Saturday, her 2007 album Back to Black jumped to the #1 spot on iTunes. Her music video for her hit single Rehab reached the #10 spot on iTunes, as well. When the album was released four years ago, it topped the charts in over 15 countries and earned her 5 Grammy awards. Amy was such a huge talent and Back to Black was one of the best albums in the last decade. She will be greatly missed. |

Leighton Meester is suing her mom, Constance Meester, claiming that her mother used money on cosmetic surgery instead of whom it was intended for, her little brother Lex. Leighton and her mom have been on the outs, but she felt sorry for Lex who has severe medical issues. The worst part is that Leighton's mom doesn't work so Leighton sent over $7,500 a month to provide for him. Instead of using the money on her son, Constance spent the money on several cosmetic procedures like plastic surgery, Botox, and hair extensions. She even argued that she had an oral contract that required Leighton to pay her $10,000 a month and threatened her daughter with a $3 million lawsuit if she didn't pay up. Leighton says that her mom is a complete lair and wants a judge to declare that there is no contract between her and her mom. So frustrating! How could her mom do this to her own daughter? Andrew Garfield dressed up as a Spider-Man fan and surprised the audience at The Amazing Spider-Man panel at Comic-Con in San Diego, CA over the weekend. After giving a touching speech of what playing Peter Parker has meant to him, he said being at Comic-Con was definitely "the coolest moment" of his life. So cool! And he looks so delicious in that Spidey costume! |
| More Details On Amy's Death, Her Mom And Dad Speak Posted: 24 Jul 2011 10:20 AM PDT We can't even imagine what Amy Winehouse's parents are going through right now. After the loss of their daughter on Saturday, her parents Janis and Mitch Winehouse are finally speaking out. After seeing her just 24 hours before her passing, a heartbroken Janis said that her daughter's death was "only a matter of time." She added:
Meanwhile, her father Mitch didn't hear of the devastating news until he landed in NYC after a flight from London. After hearing of the news, he said:
More details have emerged such as what a neighbor said when she heard noises coming from Amy's home on Saturday afternoon. She said, "At about 3:30am I heard crying from next door... terrible crying like somebody mourning. The ambulances and police cars arrived shortly after that." Even though autopsy results have yet to be completed, friends did say that over the past couple of days, they believe Amy was on a path of self-destruction with wild drinking binges around Camden, North London. According to them, they think that Amy died from a "bad" ecstasy pill combined with huge amounts of alcohol. She also suffered from emphysema. Amy's bodyguard Ray Grange was said to be the one who found Amy. She was considered to be "beyond help" by the time ambulance crews and police arrived. | First Look! KStew As The Fairest Of Them All! Posted: 24 Jul 2011 09:20 AM PDT This princess means business! Yesterday, PerezHilton.com was at Comic-Con to see and hear what the cast and creators had to say about the new Universal movie Snow White and The Huntsmen. According to the folks behind the flick, the thing that sets this movie a part from the other Snowy remake coming next year is its tone. According to producer Joe Roth, the story is going to have a more Lord Of The Rings type-fantasy feel, rather than something whimsical. We didn't quite understand at first ... and then we saw these pictures! Check out KStew as a badass Snow White! She explained that shield weighed about 50 pounds and that she wields that sword pretty frequently in the movie! We also learned that there will eight, not seven dwarves at the start of the movie. Something rather unfortunate will happen to the 8th though - deadly unfortunate. And Charlize Theron - damn!!! She's about to cut a bitch, literally! And don't even get us started on Chris Hemsworth and that delectable Sam Claflin! Mmm! Mmm! Mmm! We'd like to buy our tickets right now to that gun show!!! P.S. - Our favorite part of the panel was the repiotore between Kristen and Charlize. Their chemistry and they way the fed off each other, Kristen awkwardly and Charlize with so much sass ... it was spectacular. We're actually really excited about this movie now.
