ASkars Is RED HOT In New Interview Spread Posted: 31 May 2011 12:45 PM PDT Scalding!!! He's never looked better EVER! Alexander Skarsgard is this month's SMOKESHOW for Interview Magazine. While we paid more attention to the smoldering shots in the spread he did, courtesy of Steven Klein, we also found some of the tidbits he shared in his interview with Aracde Fire's Win Butler quite interesting. Check out some HIGHlights below: Wanting diversity in his roles: "I do get a lot of scripts sent to me where they basically want me to play Eric from True Blood, but just a different name in a different movie. That's not interesting to me. I don't want to play a character that I've played for four years on a television show, change the name, and make him a zombie instead of a vampire." How he connects with the characters he plays: "In a weird way, I always play myself, just through different mirrors. If I read a script and I don't connect with a character, if I can't find the character on the page in my soul, then I'm not going to be able to do a good job." What types of roles he wants to play: "There's got to be something new, something fresh. I want to almost be intimidated when I embark on a journey. I wouldn't say there's a fear, but I do get slightly nervous in the beginning when that happens, and I like that feeling. That triggers me a lot." Spoken like a true artist. Wonder what aspects of himself he brings to Vampire Eric. Hopefully it's his glorious need to be nekkid all the time. Mmm!!! Check out the photos (above) of Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie leaving the Public Nightclub very early Saturday morning. Must have one serious part-ay, because the royals went home with stains on their shirt and dress! We hope you two enjoyed yourselves, but we also hope you didn't go TOO crazy. Lady GaGa Impostor Disappoints Elementary School Kids Posted: 31 May 2011 12:20 PM PDT Talk about a bummer! We can only imagine their heartbreak when students at Maugham Elementary in New Jersey found out that the Lady GaGa they thought they had met on Wednesday was an impostor! A popular teacher at school promised students a "big surprise" after taking the NJ ASK, a state-wide assessment test, but instead they got a big disappointment! After they had taken the test, the teacher informed students she KNEW Lady GaGa before she was famous, while interning at MTV together and that she had arranged for the students to meet her over Skype! Unfortunately, the woman dressed as GaGa, who didn't speak on video, but only typed (due to a microphone "malfunction"), was not GaGa at all! According to a letter from the school district notifying parents and students of the mistake, their famous speaker had to back out of the commitment just hours before she was scheduled to appear, so the teacher "made arrangements" for an impersonator to take her place. According to our sources, she WAS NOT scheduled to appear and the teacher IS NOT friends with Lady GaGa, before or after she was famous. While incentives may be a great way to improve student test scores, the school should not be promising incentives they can't make happen! Students are feeling the burn too, as one fourth-grade student explained: "I would be disappointed if we didn't get to meet her and she just told us, but now I feel betrayed and just three times worse." So sorry, guys! Although no mention of what kind of punishment, if any, the fibbing teacher will receive, the school district is not happy with the stunt and wrote: "Please understand that we are taking this event very seriously and appropriate action is being taken…It is with deep sadness that one of our staff members violated this critical ethical standard." We're sure this teacher's heart was in the right place, but instead she betrayed the trust of her students and unnecessarily broke the little monster's hearts! Brace Yourselves! Snooki's Got A New Accessory! Posted: 31 May 2011 12:00 PM PDT At least it matches her outfit! HA! Over the weekend, Snooki had a, shall we say, "traffic incident", in which she got into a fender bender with a police car that was escorting her through the city. Thankfully, she only sustained minor injuries, as evident by the neck brace she was spotted sporting stepping out of her apartment this morning. It's the sunglasses. That's what really makes this picture for us! LOLZ! Is frumpy and slumpy back in? Yes? Also, we always wondered what a Snooki Pez dispenser would look like! We kid, we kid! She better get used to walking around Florence. Snooks reportedly lost her license when she gained that spiffy new support system for her neck. They were hanging out and getting some yogurt in Malibu during a cute bike ride with their kids through the neighborhood! So adorable, yet, we can't help but wonder what brought these two together! Last we heard from Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley, we were pleased to see how well he was getting along with his ex-wife Avril Lavigne. While the two have remained close friends, it appears that Deryck has moved on romantically, as the singer was spotted holding hands with his new lady friend (above) while headed to El Lay's Roosevelt Hotel last night. Tupac Is ALIVE…In New Zealand! LOLz! Posted: 31 May 2011 11:20 AM PDT We always knew that if Tupac was still alive, he'd end up in New Zealand. Ha! Okay, so Tupac's not ACTUALLY alive, but some hackers cracked PBS' website yesterday morning and posted a fake story about the late rapper on the PBS NewsHour section of the site. Apparently, the group of hackers called LulzSec were upset about a recent Frontline program about WikiLeaks, and put up the Tupac story to get back at PBS. Here's what Frontline executive producer David Fanning had to say about the program in question: "From our point of view, we just see it as a disappointing and irresponsible act, especially since we have been very open to publishing criticism of the film…and the film included other points of view. This kind of action is irresponsible and chilling." Guess these hackers have REALLY strong feelings about WikiLeaks!
