Are Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Ready To Get Married?

In a new interview with USA Today, to promote his new film Tree of Life, Brad Pitt opens up about his family life and hints that he and pseudo-wife Angelina Jolie might be getting ready to be legally married very soon. Pitt explains that the couple’s 6 children are aware that mommy and daddy aren’t married and they are insistent that the couple get hitched. Because of that fact, Brad suggests that he and Ange might actually say their I Dos as a result.

Pitt is an unabashed family man. Fatherhood is, indeed, his most consuming project: raising an unruly brood of six children ages 2 to 9 — three of them adopted, three biological, born in five different countries — with partner Angelina Jolie. Their effect on Pitt has been, by his own account, profound. He credits parenthood, in great part, for his hard-won maturity. "Kids hold up a mirror to you," he says in his first extensive interview since 2009. "You can’t make excuses. You’ve got to make sure they’ve brushed their teeth and eaten a good breakfast. You want to be present if they wake up with a bad dream" … Though he has said the couple would wait to wed until gay people could do so legally, he now acknowledges that the timetable may change. "The kids ask about marriage," he says, sinking wearily into a sofa. He takes a sip of cappuccino. "It’s meaning more and more to them. So it’s something we’ve got to look at."

In it, Brad goes on to talk about how the Brangelina family exists in nomadic fashion and he divulges more personal info about the kids but … it’s the marriage comments that are most interesting to me. I honestly never bought the whole “waiting til gay marriage is legal” rationale for Brangelina‘s decision not to get married. But now that the kids are aware and are asking that the couple get married, I can see how they might actually do so … and soon. What do y’all think? Are Brangelina on the verge of matrimony? If so … do you think they’ll have a HUGE wedding or a quickie private affair?

Lindsay Lohan Is Making Good Use Of Her House Arrest

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Lindsay Lohan suffering thru her first days of house arrest in her luxurious beachfront condo in Venice, CA. Today we learn that Lindsay isn’t merely relaxing during her house arrest … she’s also making money. Lindsay posted for a few photos while smoking Blu Cigs electronic cigarettes (and reading scripts, apparently) in an effort to make a few extra advertising dollars while she pays back her debt to society. I mean … of course.

Lindsay Lohan is making the most of her time under house arrest by reading scripts … and endorsing a line of electronic cigarettes! A company called Blu Cigs sent around the posed pics today, saying Lindsay “is determined to better her career and her health and has started using Blu Cigs as a deterrent to lighting up.” One step at a time.

So not only is Lindsay able to enjoy the spoils of her luxurious condo while being “punished” for her crimes but she’s also making money while doing so? As annoying as EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SCENARIO is … I gotta had it to the girl … she is deffo making the most of her house arrest. As for these alleged scripts she’s reading … I’ll believe it when I see her act in an actual film.

Nothing Compares 2 Prince & Mary J. Blige

Last night was the second to last Prince concert at The Forum in Inglewood, CA as his 21 Nite Stand in Los Angeles concert residency comes to a close. I attended last night’s show with my good friend Josh and an AMAZING friend of his hooked us up with VIP tickets and aftershow passes. As if that wasn’t awesome enough, the Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige opened up for and performed with Prince during last night’s concert. Honestly, all of the Prince shows have been special … but this may be the most special of all.


Sadly, the security was really super tight all night long so I wasn’t able to take any photos AT ALL. Not one. But I can assure you, it was a magical night of music. Mary J. Blige KILLED her performance. That woman sings with her whole heart … it was such a treat to get to see her perform before Prince‘s set. During Prince‘s set, she came out to duet with him on Nothing Compares 2 U (with Maceo Parker on saxophone) and they gave the most stunning performance of that song that I have ever heard … period! The setlist was packed with hits … there wasn’t an empty seat in the entire arena … it was nothing but LOVE all night long. Here is the setlist from last night’s show:

Last night was the 20th show of the 21 Nite Stand … and Prince just keeps on bringing the HEAT! Josh and I had the best time ever!! After the show, we made our way to the Forum Club for the afterparty and waiting patiently in front of the set up stage in the hopes that Prince would play another set of music. DJ Rashida provided the amazing music and we ended up dancing the night away. Unfortch, Prince did not perform … but we did have a blast dancing with members of Prince‘s band to the best playlist of music ever! We had a late, late night … and tonight, I’m going back for one last time. Prince‘s 21 Nite Stand in Los Angeles ends tonight … I can’t even wait to see how it will all end.

The Braxtons Film A Reunion Show For ‘Braxton Family Values’

This Spring, David got me HOOKED on the new WE reality TV series Braxton Family Values which stars pop singer Toni Braxton and her sisters Tamar, Towanda, Traci, Trina & mom Evelyn. Now, I’ve been a MASSIVE fan of Toni Braxton for years but I was totally unaware that she was doing a reality TV show … until David made me watch. OMG, I love the show so much :) Yesterday, the Braxtons got together here in LA to film a reunion special with Wendy Williams and the ladies were lookin’ F-I-N-E on the red carpet. Check out some photos below.


To be honest, I don’t know why they had to film a “reunion” special because it seems pretty obvious that the ladies spend all their time — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — in one another’s close company. Even when they fight, you can tell that this family is tight. I really enjoy watching them from week to week and am very bummed that the first season is coming to a close. Thankfully, WE picked up the series for a second season so there will be more Braxtons family fun to come. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Toni, natch, but I’ve been a new fan of her younger sister Tamar. That girl is crazy and fun. I’m pretty sure you can catch up with Braxton Family Values on WE before the season finale and reunion episode air. Watch this show … you will love it! Any Braxton fans out there?

Now … if only Toni Braxton would go on tour … then my life would be complete :)

Robert Pattinson Begins Filming ‘Cosmopolis’ In Toronto

Robert Pattinson has made his way to Toronto, Ontario to film a new David Cronenberg-directed film titled Cosmopolis. In the film, Pattinson plays a young billionaire who goes for a taxi ride — that changes his life! Or … something like that. Click below to check out a few photos of R. Pattz on set with his co-star Sarah Gadon in Toronto this week.

Shooting has begun in Toronto on Robert Pattinson’s (“Water for Elephants,” “The Twilight Saga”) new thriller directed by the king of creepy, David Cronenberg (“The Fly, “A History of Violence’). In “Cosmopolis,” Pattinson plays young billionaire, Eric Packer. The film follows Packer as his routine cab ride to get a haircut turns into 24 hours of everything but routine. In this first look photo from the shoot above, we see Pattinson’s character has at least one good reason for a detour. Co-star Sarah Gadon (“A Dangerous Method”) makes for a pretty distraction. Pattinson’s costars also include Academy Award-winner Juliette Binoche (“Chocolat”), Academy Award-nominee Paul Giamatti (“Sideways”), and Academy Award-nominee Samantha Morton (“In America”).

I gotta say … I’m intrigued by this film description. I’m also curious to see how the beautiful city of Toronto treats the megasuperstar while he is in town. I’m sure there are quite a few Canadian Twihards in the area that will be scrambling to get a glimpse of Rob in their fair city. I wonder what other sort of photos we’ll be seeing from the set of Cosmopolis.

Courtney Love Gets Into Twitter Trouble Again

Remember back in March when Courtney Love settled a defamation lawsuit that was brought against her and the things she said on her official Twitter profile? Yeah, well … she’s at it again. After that legal matter was settled, Courtney got back on Twitter and started running her mouth again. Now she’s being sued by one of her attorneys that she’s allegedly been bad-mouthing on Twitter. Clearly, C. Love is not one to learn her lessons.

It was only 140 characters and still Courtney Love managed to say too much. The faded rocker is in serious trouble again for another Twitter rant … According to one of her former lawyers, Love made libelous statements about the legal eagle on Twitter and in an interview, claiming the attorney took bribes while representing Love. The complaint, filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by E! News, claims Love libeled San Diego-based Gordon & Holmes when she wrote on Twitter that one of the firm’s partners, Rhonda Holmes, sold Love out in a battle over money owed the estate of her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. According to court documents, Love didn’t like the firm’s handling of her affairs, particularly when Holmes requested Love desist from “any and all substance abuse” during the attorney-client relationship. Love ended up firing Gordon & Holmes only to return several months later asking to represent her again. But when the firm refused, per the suit, that’s when Love went off publicly. “I was fucking devastated when Rhonda J Holmes Esq of San Diego was bought off…,” Love stated in a tweet cited in court documents … Holmes claims such remarks have damaged her credibility and hurt her firm’s business. She is seeking unspecified damages. Love’s attorney couldn’t be reached for comment.

If there is one person on Earth who should not be tweeting her every thought, it’s Courtney Love … like, seriously. For the record, C. Love has another, newer Twitter account HERE where she’s been spouting off on other nonsensical rants … but I’m sure it won’t be long until she allegedly defames someone else and gets sued … again.

Oh and in other news, in a new interview, Courtney claims that her heroin addiction began at Charlie Sheen‘s home:

Courtney Love has admitted that she became addicted to heroin after attending a party at actor Charlie Sheen’s house. Speaking with rehabilitation-focused magazine The Fix, the Hole frontwoman said that her battle with the drug began during a party at Sheen’s mansion. She said: “One night, my boyfriend at the time, who was working for Ben Stiller, took me to this star-studded party at Charlie Sheen’s house in Malibu. Tom Cruise, Madonna my friend Jennifer Finch, who used to be in L7. At some point Jennifer convinced me to shoot up. ‘Come on, everyone’s doing it.’ So that’s when my whole heroin drama began.” The singer added that after battling addiction, she had only relapsed once, in 2005 and then it was with the intention of committing suicide. She said: “I promised I would never shoot heroin again, and I haven’t, except for one incident in July 2005, where I shot myself up on purpose to kill myself.”

Um … not that I disbelieve that Charlie Sheen‘s home is the place where many addictions, heroin or otherwise, got their start but it seems really suspicious that Courtney is talking about Charlie Sheen right now … in light of his messy insanity. Also, is it a good idea for an addiction magazine to be talking to Courtney Love? I mean, seriously?!? I know Courtney Love would like for people not to call her “crazy” but … damn, girl. I don’t even know what to say anymore.
