The Simmons sisters got prettied up for their Pastry & Barbie So In Style Shoe Collection Launch Party in L.A. last night.  We've got pics of their colorful looks for the night, plus pics of Boris & Nicole Kodjoe raising money for their Sophie's Voice Foundation, when yu read on...

23-year-old Angela Simmons hit up the event in this colorful and...interesting...dress for her event.

While her 27-year-old sis Vanessa Simmons wore this mermaidesque dress and gloves for a dress-up-barbie type of look.

Dirty Money's Dawn Richard hit the event in this look.  This hairstyle isn't going to grow on me anytime soon I see...

The girls teamed up with Barbie's So in Style line of dolls to push their Pastry products even more. 

Mattel recently released the Barbie So in Style line of African American dolls, where all of the dolls have fuller lips a wider nose and more pronounced cheek bones.  Some will have curly hair and some will have skin that is darker in hue.

Over in NYC last night, Boris and Nicole Kodjoe hosted an event, produced by WCMG, at The Box to raise funds for their Sophie's Voice Foundation in honor of their daughter Sophie, who has Spina Bifida.

They're looking fab as usual.

Boxing night for charity.  I love that these two do so much for such a great cause.

Romeo, Flo Rida & Diddy At "The Hangover 2" Premiere + Halle Berry's Beauty Event With Katie Holmes

Last night, Hollywood played host to the premiere of The Hangover Part II as well as a fabulous beauty event hosted by Halle Berry and Katie Holmes.  See pics of Jordin Sparks, Mike Epps, Romeo and Mike Tyson inside....

 

"The Hangover Part II" premiere was held last night at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre.  Jordin Sparks looked fab in her light green banded skirt:

 

And she also posed with cutie Romeo.

And Flo Rida was there with Melyssa Ford who rocked a pink Herve Leger dress.  Oh...so they're a couple now?  His former flame Eva Marcille DID hit the carpet with Gary Dourdan recently.

Nicki Minaj Teaches The Kiddies + Kimora Lee Simmons Gives A $50,000 Makeover To A High School

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj and Kimora Lee Simmons took time out of their busy schedules to give back to the nation's educational system at two different high schools.  See what both of the fab ladies did for the children inside....

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj joined The Get Schooled Foundation and surprised students at Collins Academy In Chicago.

 

 

Nicki Minaj acted as the "Principal for the Day" to the more than 400 eager students.  


 

Then she presented three exemplary students with $10,000 college scholarships from Comcast. 

 

And if that wasn't a full day's work, she also helped teach a freshman English class, and joined MTV's Sway Calloway in an all-school assembly to celebrate the students' and teachers' accomplishments.

And over in Missouri..........

With the help of Bounty, the Style Network's Kimora Lee Simmons unveiled a $50,000 makeover at The North St. Francois County High School in Bonne Terre, MO.

She also talked to the kids about empowerment and being fabulous.

 

 

Later she posed with a few of the students leaders and teachers at the school while viewing the classroom the $50,000 was used to makeover.

Drake has dropped a new song off his upcoming album Take Care called "Dreams Money Can Buy" and we have it for you inside along with "Lose Control" the new video from Keri Hilson ft. Nelly.....

 

Drake recently released a track called "Dreams Money Can Buy" to the web and we have it for you.  This is not his first official single but said to be one of the abum's intros.

Also in music...... Keri Hilson has a new video for the track "Lose Control" she made with Nelly off the No Boys Allowed disc.  In the video, the very blonde Keri dances with her warrior princesses, swims in a lagoon and dances in front of a crescent moon.

Ne-Yo's Baby Mama Monyetta Shaw Has Sip & Shop At Her Own Boutique

Ne-Yo and his baby's mother Monyetta Shaw, just had baby Madilyn 6 months ago. But Monyetta's already up and at 'em with opening up her own boutique. And despite rumors that she's preggers again, she doesn't look it to us.

Monyetta Shaw, along with Brandi and Karli Harvey, daughters of comedian/actor Steve Harvey, hosted a Sip & Shop (so mad at that event name) at Monyetta's new "posh" boutique, Emerlyn & Ester in Buckhead Atlanta.

She had her friends and Ne-Yo's, T-Pain's and Lil Wayne's moms all came out to support.  According to the release sent over:

The event was a fundraiser for Grow Kids Inc. a nonprofit organization that provides safe and happy spaces and green places where kids of all ages can learn and grow. Shaw has really been putting her name and her boutiques name behind several local charitable endeavors, and donating proceeds from her in store events to charities.

Chris Brown has dropped the 5th video from his gold album F.A.M.E. for the "Should've Kissed You" single.  Watch it inside....

 

In the video for the Brian Kennedy produced track, Chris walks solo along the beach in Miami, while various scenes of him with video vixens in bikinis pop in and out.  He later tweeted that this was "Just my viral video!" for the track and he's currently working on a video for "Next To You."

Absolutely loving this look.  Janet Jackson--who just celebrated her 45th birthday earlier this week--rocked this green and purple dress combo by Haider Ackermann with a blue velour belt and a fresh hair cut.  Looking effortlessly beautiful.

Kanye West showed up with yet another new chick on his arm.  This time it was former French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld.

'Ye is looking HOT though.  He always comes correct on the suited up tip.

Actress Rosario Dawson rocked this stunning white and metallic bodice gown.

Naomi Campbell made her entrance with her boo Vladislav in Givenchy Couture.

MOVIE FAB: Michael Ealy & Taraji P. Henson Set To Join Kevin Hart In "Think Like A Man"

Michael Ealy and Taraji P. Henson have signed on to star in Think Like A Man (based on Steve Harvey's bestselling advice book) alongside comedian Kevin Hart.  Get movie deets inside....

 

Screen Gems has announced new cast additions for their upcoming flim Think Like A Man, based on Steve Harvey's bestselling 2009 book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. 

In the film, Kevin Hart will play "...a self-professed relationship expert who is quick to give advice to his crew of friends, even as he watched his own marriage crater and head toward divorce."  And now, Kevin will be joined by the sexy Michael Ealy and YBF Chick Taraji P. Henson, who will portray one of the couples he offers advice to.

Sounds like this might be a pretty funny movie.  It was written by Keith Merryman & David A. Newman and production starts in July.  Will you be watching?

Charles Barkley Blasts Homophobia In Sports, Says Everyone Has Played Ball With "Gay Guys"

The world of professional sports is often though to be homophobic, but former baller and current sportscaster Charles Barkley is speaking out against this.  In a recent interview, he blasts the media for perpetuating this way of thinking and throws in his own two cents.  Deets inside.......

 

On the heels of Phoenix Suns Executive Rick Welts coming out publicly this week, former NBA baller Charles Barkley offered his support and blasted people whose personal beliefs keep professional athletes in the closet.

In a recent interview with 106.7 The Fan, he said,

First of all, every player has played with gay guys...It bothers me when I hear these reporters and jocks get on TV and say: 'Oh, no guy can come out in a team sport. These guys would go crazy.' First of all, quit telling me what I think. I'd rather have a gay guy who can play than a straight guy who can't play.

Great and necessary statement.   Perhaps there has been a shift in tolerance the media hasn't been paying attention to. 

Do you think if an athlete (who was good at his/her sport) announced he or she were gay, it would affect his/her ability to secure endorsements and fan support? 

 

Tyra, Taraji, Kerry, & More Hit The UPFRONTS & Events In NYC

The tv networks' UPFRONTS went down in NYC last night.  And they introduced their talent for their upcoming fall shows.  We've got pics of YBF Chicks Tyra Banks, Tarajji P. Henson, and Kerry Washington who hit up a separate event for World Oceans Day, and more.

Loving this black lace look for Kerry.  La Mer and Oceana celebrated World Oceans Day 2011 at Affirmation Arts in NYC.  And Kerry went out to support.

She hit the red carpet with designer Rachel Roy and actress Molly Simms.

Stylist June Ambrose was there in a smart tuxedo inspired look.

And Deborah Cox was there in a great soft coral dress for her.  Nice looks ladies.

By the way, Kerry is starring in Shonda Rhimes' upcoming new show this fall.  "Scandal" stars Kerry as a professional crisis manager whose former clients happen to include the president of the United States (Tony Goldwyn). The drama will commence midseason.

Taraji Henson looked pretty in yellow.  She's starring in the upcoming tv movie Person Of Interest.

Rashida Jones Sexes Up The Spotlight In The June 2011 Issue Of "GQ"

Rashida Jones gets to shine in her own spotlight for the June 2011 issue of GQ Magazine.  Find out what she said about her "Parks and Recreation" castmates and her first acting job inside.  Oh, and she's looking a lot sexier than usual fellas in her new pics...

 

In the June 2011 issue of GQ, on magazine racks May 24, Rashida Jones, whose usually stars in ensemble casts, gets her own spotlight.  In the magazine feature, Rashida talked about her job on the NBC comedy "Parks And Recreation."

 

"Every week, someone on that show will tickle me in a new and fun way. Wow, that sounds really bad. Please put that next to a topless picture of me in GQ," she joked. She also spoke about her first job where she had to receive mouth-to-mouth from Rip Torn.  She tells the mag...."I feel like I've come a long way from my first job"  Indeed you have.

The season finale of "Parks And Recreation" airs tonight on NBC.  Good to see her sex up her look a bit.  Fab.

BIG MOVE: WNBA Chick Maya Moore Named First Female Face Of The Jordan Brand

Girl Power!  #1 WNBA Draft pick Maya Moore, who was drafted to the Minnesota Lynx last month after playing for her championship college team UCONN, has just been named as the first female to become the face of the Jordan Brand. 

 

She's the first female to sign a deal with the Jordan Brand.  So she'll likely be copping her own shoe, own clothing line, and many other sports related deals.  And she's a pretty girl who may even dabble into some cosmetics and/or modeling.

NBA legend Michael Jordan's Nike and Jordan Brand family issued a press release today stating:

I am thrilled to welcome Maya Moore into the Jordan Brand. Not only has Maya proven to be a prolific winner on the court, but her hunger and determination to make an impact off the court makes her a valuable addition to the Jordan family. We look forward to working with Maya as she carries her success to the next level.

Maya stated today:

As a student of the game, it is a dream come true to align myself with a brand that has a rich history in sports. Like most kids, I grew up idolizing Michael Jordan and continue to work relentlessly to reach his iconic status on the court. We've been following Tamera and Adam since they announced their engagement and now we can show you pics from their Napa Valley wedding.

Tamera posed with her beautiful sister and Matron of Honor Tia at the wedding. 

And you can watch Tia and Tamera talk about both the wedding and the pregnancy very soon when "Tia & Tamera Take 2"debuts on the Style Network later this year.
 

 

The atmosphere was very elegant with hues of white and pastel pink.  pretty!

 

And more than 300 guests enjoyed Adam and Tamera's fun side at the reception.  Did they do the Electric Slide or the Cupid Shuffle?  If you saw Jumping The Broom...you know why I'm asking.  Ha!
