Naomi Campbell Threatens Lawsuit Over Cadbury Ad Comparing Her To Chocolate

Naomi Campbell is threatening to sue chocolate maker Cadbury over "racist" ads for Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss bars which compare her to their chocolate candy.

After seeing a Cadbury ad that invoked her name, Naomi Campbell said she is "considering every option available" when it comes to taking action against the chocolate maker. 

After seeing the ad which featured a Bliss bar on a mound of diamonds with the slogan "Move over Naomi, there's a new diva in town," the supermodel said,

"I'm shocked. It's upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women. It is insulting and hurtful."

Naomi has urged black consumers to boycott the Kraft Foods-owned company's products.  And for their part in this, Cadbury has pulled all the ads and released a statement saying,

"We would never produce any type of marketing we felt might cause offense to any section of society."

22-year-old Zoe Kravitz and her 34-year-old German-Irish boyfriend Michael Fassbender were spotted strolling through the streets of NYC on their way to lunch over the weekend. 

 

Hate the ciggies, loves this chick.  She reminds me so much of her mom with the effortless hippie chic look.  A few days ago, Zoe and Michael attended the premiere of their film X-Men: First Class held at the Ziegfeld Theatre, which hits theaters on Friday June 3!

Nick Cannon has released a funny video featuring Akon where he parodies Michael Jackson, KISS’ Gene Simmons, Fred Astaire, and MC Hammer.  Even internet superstar  Antoine Dodson gets parodied in the funnyman's new clip.  Check it out inside....

 

 

Talking about the video, the rapper told Rap-Up.com:

KISS GOODBYE: Kelly Rowland Chills On Miami Beach Before Leaving For X-Factor UK

Kelly Rowland took an afternoon to chill out on Miami Beach before leaving for her new judging job on "X Factor UK".   She rocked a purple bikini, her beach hat, and a cute tunic cover up for the sun session.

How cute is she.  The new "X Factor" judge has the first auditions in Birmingham Wednesday afternoon.  So not sure if she'll be there for them or not as she was wrapping her her Memorial Day fun yesterday afternoon in Miami.

She gave a friend a hug and kiss goodbye.

 

In the statement released by ITV yesterday, the former Destiny's Child star said:

'I am so excited to join The X Factor UK and be able to spend time in one of my favourite places in the world.

'The music coming out of the UK right now is incredible with artists like Adele, Jessie J and James Blake, so I’m confident this season of The X Factor will give me opportunity to hear a few diamonds in the rough.

'Being a judge is never easy, but I promise to be as sternly honest as I can and also encourage everyone who crosses the stage. I can't wait to meet the world’s next superstar!'

Rihanna Goes Tattoo Shopping + Ciara Performs In Zimbabwe And Makes A Playful Video Impersonation

This Memorial Day Weekend Rihanna went shopping for a new tattoo while Ciara performed in Zimbabwe for the first time.  Find out more about what these ladies did over the weekend inside.... 

Though she already has 14-tattoos on various parts of her body, Rihanna was seen making a trip to a tattoo shop in NYC yesterday.  And though it wasn't confirmed what she did once inside, sources speculate that she was looking for new ideas for a possible tattoo. 
 

She wore a long black dress with a thigh-high split that she paired with black sneakers and a denim Prada bag. 

 

If she did get some work done, I'm sure we will see it on Twitter soon.  And speaking of Twitter, RiRi recently tweeted about the video premiere of "Man Down" on "106 & Park" tomorrow saying,

"ManDownTOMORROW on @BET @106andpark its #Gritty #GULLY #Emotional #JAMRock Very strong underlying message 4 girls like me! #listentoyomama"

 

 

Yesterday, Rihanna also tweeted a picture of herself saying "Touch ups... Ariel style", as her long red tresses were inspired by The Little Mermaid.

 

 

 

And over in Zimbabwe.....

Ciara made her debut appearance in Zimbabwe this Memorial Day Weekend. 

 

She performed in the city of Harare for ZarFest 2011.

 

And while overseas, she made a funny video impersonating one of her favorite characters. 

On her Facebook page she wrote,

"Hey guys, I was a little nervous to share this, but for u guys, why not? I'm so in love with the Dragon Fly Jones character from my favorite tv show of all time, Martin! I'm in South Africa and having a blast! Here's a clip of me riding with Yolanda headed to sound check, she plays Kenji. His obedient servant."
