Sanaa, Ciara, Selita & More Hit The "Hangover 2" NYC Screening

YBF celebs rolled to the Landmark Sunshine Cinemas in NYC for The Cinema Society & Bing hosted screening Of The Hangover 2.  And we've got the pics of a white hot Ciara, an all-black Sanaa Lathan, a frilly Selita Ebanks, and more when you read on...

 

Ciara rocked this white dress with a wrap embellishment attached for last night's screening.  And paired with her nude Louboutins--it's a sexy look.  But we could have done without the extra long wrap at the bottom. 

Oh--I see she's switched up the hair with some blonde pieces.  Interesting.

Sanaa Lathan rocked an all-black one-shoulder dress with studded embellishments on the shoulder and bottom of the dress.  Not our absolute fave dress on her, but she's got a great bod so she's always fab.

Selita Ebanks wore this very print-worthy look of foral skirt, a floral jacket, and a lace blouse.

Interesting.  But it somehow works....on Selita.

Russell Simmons brought his model-o-the-moment to the screening.

Designer Rachel Roy was there.

And actress Gabby Sidibe is out and about again and kicked it with Jill Hennessy.  Fun times.

TUESDAY CANDIDS: The Obamas Meet William & Kate + Ziggy Marley Takes The Wife And Kids To Lunch

The President and First Lady rolled into Buckingham Palace earlier today for a spot of tea.  And they met the Queen, Prince Charles & Camilla, and Prince William and Kate.  See the pics inside along with candids of Ziggy Marley out to lunch with his family in Los Angeles....

 

 

President Barack Obama and his wife First Lady Michelle, who wore a Barbara Tfank Resort 2011 dress, were in the U.K. for a two-day state visit discussing concerns over the stalemate in Libya, the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan and deepening tensions between the Israelis and Palestinians.

They were welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles the Prince of Wales, and Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh.

 

They also met Prince William and Princess Kate (The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge) who just returned from a 10-day honeymoon in the Seychelles.

We love Michelle's dress and cropped jacket.

 

Tea & Crumpets & Royals.  Nice.

And back here in the States.....

Ziggy Marley took his wife Orly out for lunch at the Coral Tree Cafe with their kids Judah, Gideon and Abraham in Brentwood, CA.

He's such a hands-on dad.  And those kids are adorable!

The Maybach Boys Roll To "106 & Park"+Rick Ross Covers VIBE & COMPLEX Mags

The Maybach Boys--Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill, and Pill--all hit "106 & Park" last night to pub their new compilation album that dropped yesterday called Self Made, Vol. 1.

The fellas--Wale, Ricky, Pill, and Meek Mill--left Miami for NYC to kick it with Terrence and Rocsi last night.

They hit the stage for the teen crowd.  This jacket is seriously hurting my eyes Rick.

Every Rick Ross track and album so far has been a winner--to me.  I wonder if folks are loving the Maybach boys just as much...

 

And since Ricky has his own album God Forgives, I Don't dropping some time soon, he's covering the June magazines for some pub:

He dabbled in some JAWS inspiration with actor Andy Samberg for COMPLEX, and did his typical shirtless pic for VIBE.  And he and his boys chit chatted with Angela Yee for VIBE about the type of women he likes, Pill getting it in with crackheads, and more:

Angela Yee: Have you ever messed with a girl that you were embarrassed about and you hoped no one finds out?

Wale: When I was younger. Seeing them in the club the next time like, Damn, if I could see me from last week I’d beat the shit out of me. I’d put a roofie in my own joint so I don’t end up talking to this chick.

Meek Mill: Like 3:30 in the morning, not having a girl. It be like that sometimes. I fuck a lot of bad women, don’t get it twisted. I got a thick one, a little husky... I got that one and she’s always around. And people found out I hit it—

[All laugh]

Mill: She ain’t fat. She’s thick. She’s like 25 percent over the line.

Pill: She had a few too many goddamn double cheeseburgers.

What about you, Ross?

Ross: I be sliding through the ‘hood, I can’t lie. I love extravagant exotic women, but I come from the ‘hood at the same time. So if I’m in my Chevy riding through the ‘hood and you see one of those ghetto girls in a hot pink shirt, you’re just like ‘Hey, put your number in this.’ I’m still in touch with the ‘hood like that.

Ross: I can’t sleep the whole night with a chick. Before sunrise, shorty, you got to go.

Pill: Obviously, I was too fucked up in the first place to have you in my bed and in my house if you’re looking that bad. So I went to sleep and when I got up, I’m asking you, “What went down? Did I really just...”

Ross: You done ate the pussy.

Ha!

WEDDING FAB: Pics Of Keyshia Cole & Daniel "Boobie" Gibson's Wedding Day!

Well aren't they a cute lil fam.  Mr. & Mrs. Gibson are now very much official.  And pics of Keyshia and Daniel "Boobie" Gibson's wedding have hit the net....thanks to tweets from Daniel.  Complete with their little one, 14-month-old Daniel, Jr.

The two still haven't released many details about the actual wedding ceremony.  But Daniel, 25, tweeted these pics from their ceremony and gushed about his "Always & Forever" love for Keyshia, 29.

And he even tweeted a pic of his mom getting him right for the ceremony.  And tweeted this as well:

EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE: Ciara & More At The 2nd Annual Sprite Step Off Competition

The 2nd Annual Sprite Step Off Competition was held over the weekend with exciting performances by the divine nine fraternities and sororities, R&B starlet Ciara (who talked about which Sorority she would be a part of if she went to college), and rapper Wale.  Come inside for our exclusive interview with CiCi, and pics and vid of the show....

 

The Sprite Step Off II Championship Show went down over the weekend at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD and our YBF correspondents were there on the scene. 

 

Sheryl Underwood was there and kicked it with Bobby Oliver (Brand Manager at Sprite) and Augusto Elias (Director at Sprite).

Wale performed.

 

And Ciara--in a cute laid back outfit--later hit the stage to wow the crowd with moves and steps of her own. 

 

Before her performance, Ciara talked to TheYBF.com about what's going on in her world.  First, she reminded us that she was a cheerleader in high school, which explains her ability to do acrobatic stunts during her dance routines.  Then she gave respect to the frats and sororities for their own fancy footwork. 

As far as future projects, Ci Ci said she was "cooking up" some things but she cannot talk about them yet.  But she added, "You guys are in for a treat."

WHOA: NBA Bulls Baller Joakim Noah Fined $50,000 For Gay Slur

Uh oh!  Somebody didn't learn from Kobe's f*** up.  Chicago Bulls baller Joakim Noah was just fined a hefty amount of money for throwing out a gay slur during a recent Eastern Conference finals game.  Deets when you read on....

During last night's Eastern conference finals game in Miami, Joakim got a bit HEATED--get it...HEATed--while the team was losing against the Miami Heat.  And he threw out a gay slur to a fan in the stands.  SO the NBA fined him $50,000 today.

Interestingly, Kobe Bryant was charged double this amount when he tossed the exact same slur to a ref during one of his semi-finals game this season.  People really need to find better words to take out their anger with.

Speaking of the NBA, Savannah Brinson and Adrienne Williams hit up the game with Serena Williams to cheer on their men--Lebron James and Chris Bosh.  And, as usual, they posted their game fits:

A bit overdressed aren't we Adrienne?  I'm all for looking cute and maybe one notch over the top, but this isn't a ball...it's a basketball game.  But do you boo.

Savannah looked cute though.  Fun times.

What We LOVE About Oprah Winfrey: The First 10 Years

TheYBF.com is celebrating 25 years of The Oprah Winfrey Show in our homes and hearts by taking a look back at her first 10 years in the biz.

 

The Oprah Winfrey Show is more than a talk show.  Through her teachings and the examples she set, Oprah's show became a movement.  A way of life.  Each show set out to teach us something about ourselves, our purpose and our place. 

Who could forget the 1987 townhall meeting she held about the AIDS epidemic.  For many people, it was the first time they heard an open conversation about the illness and Oprah cleared up many untruths associated with the disease.

Or the time she wheeled out a wagon full of 67lbs of meat to symbolize what she had to lose to get in her size 10 jeans.  She let us in on her weight struggles and other demons that haunted her.

And the time she went to LA in 1991 after the LA Riots.  Her discussion about the LAPD and race relations in this country was an eye-opener to many.

Her first ten years on the air, she changed the way many people viewed themselves, others and African Americans at large.  She taught us that God could dream a bigger dream for us, than we could dream for ourselves.

But how did it begin?

Looking back on it, Dennis Swanson, who's now president of station operations for Fox Television Stations, says he discovered Oprah in August of 1983 while looking for a new host for "A.M. Chicago" who could draw in female viewers and compete with Phil Donahue.  

After watching her audition tape he said,

"I thought to myself, 'Wow, this is an exceptional talent.' (She) was exactly what you would look for. She was informed, spontaneous, comfortable. Able to ask questions easily and readily. Made the guests feel comfortable. And I just thought, 'This person is just a natural television performer, and there's no way we can miss with her...."

He hired Oprah and within one month, "AM Chicago" went from last place to winning February sweeps only one month after her debut.  And the rest is history....

Solange DJs At The Supper Club + Trey Songz Hosts An Afterparty In Las Vegas

Trey Songz and Solange Knowles both got paid to party and chill with the beautiful people on the different coasts last night.  See the pics inside......

 

Trey Songz hosted a Billboard Music Awards afterparty in Las Vegas last night at Eva Longoria's Eve Nightclub at the Crystals at CityCenter.

 

Trey will soon hit the stage for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards with Lupe Fiasco. 

 

 

And over on the east coast...... 

Solange Knowles continues to book cool DJ'ing gigs, her most recent at NYC's posh Juliet Supper Club.

She's rocking a full blown afro these days.  And we're loving it.

She posed with DJ Whoo Kid at her gig.

 

Over the past weekend, Solange performed at a Range Rover event with Cee-Lo that was broadcast in over 3 continents.

WE SEE YOU: Jennifer Hudson Hides Out In Syndey

Jennifer Hudson was spotted making her way throught he Syndey, Australia airport this morning.  And for once, she didn't look too excited about seeing the cameras.

Jenny kept it comfy and casual in a blue mini dress and a sweatshirt over it and Uggs.  The engaged mother of almost 2-year-old David, Jr. was reportedly the last person off the plane after ordering airport security to move the three waiting media to the sidewalk. Passing passengers commented on the "overkill of security presence" on the plane and through the airport.  Guess she wasn't feelin' the paps today...
