Swizz Beatz Brings Kaseem & Nasir To London For Daughter Nicole's Birthday Party

Swizz Beatz made a trip to London to celebrate his daughter Nicole's 3rd birthday this weekend.  Nicole is his daughter with a British singer Jahna.  And he wanted his sons (sans Egypt Dean) to kick it with their half-sister.

Swizzy seems to stay on daddy duty with his daughter, despite the controversial situation of little Nicole being conceived with another woman while he was married to Mashonda.

He made it a happy occasion with his oldest son Nasir and his son with Mashonda, Kaseem.  And they all traveled to London to have a birthday bash for cutie pie Nicole:

RAPPER'S DELIGHT: Cassidy Speaks Out About Arrest+Kanye Performs In Morocco

Rapper Cassidy gave some updates on his recent arrest.  Last week, he was arrested in Hackensack, NJ for violation of parole.  And now he wants to clear up those inaccurate suspicion of murder charges and also talks about his new music.

 

Updates on Cassidy, plus Kanye performing in Morocco, when you read on....

 

 

Initial reports stated that Cassidy was arrested on suspicion of murder and a possible suspect in two other attempted murders, but apparently those were incorrect.  He tweeted this:

He was actually only arrested for not checking in with his probation officer.  He says he's working on new music and has told radio stations during recent interviews he's just keeping it moving and spitting rhymes.  Nice.

 

Kanye rolled to Africa over the weekend and performed at the 2011 Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco Saturday.  Peep vid of him rocking the stage with "Power" and "Jesus Walks".  Nice!

Beyonce Switches It Up In The 2011 Billboard Award Press Room

After her acceptance speech for The Billboard Milliennium Award at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, Beyonce was spotted backstage in the press room with her nephew Daniel Julez.  See the pics inside....

 

After a very successful performance of "Run The World (Girls)" Beyonce and her nephew Julez hit the press room to show off her change of black dress:

Hot.  Fans can also catch Beyonce on "Oprah" today performing for the talk show diva at The United Center.

 

 

VIDEO: Mary J. Blige & Lil' Wayne Perform "Someone To Love Me" At The 2011 Billboard Music Awards + Cee-Lo Hits The Stage

Mary J. Blige let the world know What's The 411? last night when she hit the stage with Lil" Wayne to perform her hit single "Someone To Love Me" at the Billboard Awards.  And Cee-Lo Green floated above the crowd as he performed a number of his hits.  See the video inside.....

Mary J. Blige hit the stage last night to perform the first single off her upcoming album My Life II: The Journey Continues due out in September.
 

Mary and Weezy were both looking for a "Real Love" as Mary donned a high ponytail, designer sunglasses, a white coat and heavy and shoulder hitting gold earrings.

Also, Cee-Lo hit the stage....or should we say floated in the air with a sparkling piano as he performed a medley of his hits.

VIDEO: Nicki Minaj Performs "Superbass" & "Till The World Ends" With Britney Spears At The 2011 Billboard Music Awards

Nicki Minaj hit the stage to perform "Superbass" last night on the 2011 Billboard Music Awards before being joined by Britney Spears to perform the remix to "Till The World Ends."  See the video and pics inside....

After an introduction by Taylor Swift (who loves Nicki), Ms. Minaj performed “Super Bass."

For her performance, Nicki wore a white Mark Fast knit dress with a Gareth Pugh Spring 2009 jacket.


 

And she brought her Barbies out to play.

Then she was joined by Britney Spears for the remix to “Till The World Ends” giving the audience a taste of what they can expect when the pair go on tour this summer.  

She even joked around with Billboard Award show host Ken Jeong during the show while wearing a black satin jumpsuit with a black blazer and black strappy Louboutin’s.

VIDEO: Beyonce Gets Billboard Millennium Award, Cuts Up With "Run The World (Girls)" Performance

Beyonce Knowles rocked the Billboard Music Awards stage tonight with her first televised performance of "Run The World (Girls)" and her acceptance for the Billboard Millennium Award.

 

Missed it?  We've got you covered with pics and video of her cutting up in her majorly cut-out performance fit, her fab bronzed bod, and the folks who honored the Queen Bey at tonight's performance....

Beyonce definitely dipped into a different bag of tricks tonight.  Her barely there performance outfit was insane (in a good way), and she kept her performance painfully simple for 90% of it.  But when the techy effects and serious number of dancers kicked in at the end, we were feelin' it.

She thanked Kelly and Michelle (and even Latvia and Letoya) for their Destiny's Child days, and she expressed her love for her "best friend" and hubby saying, "I love me some Jay-Z!"  I know that's right...

VIDEO: Rihanna & Britney Spears Open The 2011 Billboard Music Awards

Rihanna (who copped the award for Top Radio Songs Artist of the Year) brought out Britney Spears to give a Vegas spark to her Billboard Music Awards opening performance tonight.

In total, Rihanna walked away with three awards (Top Female Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Rap Song: Eminem Feat. Rihanna — “Love The Way You Lie”).

Not sure what's going on but Brit Brit hasn't been the same since the late 2000's.  Chick used to WORK on stage.  This whole duet performance--including Brit's lip synching--looked and sounded stiff and distant...and like they were in their living room improvising at a slumber party. 

But if looking hot is all that matters, they've got that on lock.

YBF Celebs Get WHITE HOT For Billboard Awards 2011 WHITE CARPET!

The ladies were on their game tonight for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards white carpet. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were on hand to cheer on their Billboard Millennium girl Beyonce and looked the most fab we've ever seen them.

This is hands down one of the hottest red (white) carpet looks we've seen Kelly rock.  While the dress is a simple pink Herve Leger bandage dress we've all seen before--she made it hotter than the average chick with the chic diamond bangles, oversized diamond earrings, and sparkling gold stilettos.  And skin, makeup (a more colorful look than her usual) and hair are perfection.  Effortlessly gorgeous.

Fab.

Michelle rocked a cute look as well and worked the sequin upper body and sheared skirt look.  It's indeed more of a Fall 2010 look we've seen many times, but again, she makes it work with the fresh makeup and cute hair look.

Rihanna rocked one of my fave looks for her--the tailored but relaxed suit.  She rocked white to match the carpet and later hit the stage with Britney Spears.  Her look was much hotter than the performance though....

She kicked it with Randy Jackson and MJB on the carpet.

And worked it out solo.

Very fly.  The subdued red hair and relaxed pants suit always flatter her bod.

 

Well look who was in the building:

Nasir Jones made a rare red (white) carpet apearance at tonight's award show.  Lookin' sexy too....

Trey Songz hit the carpet.

And so did Billboard Award winner Taio Cruz.

Fergalicious rocked a black cut-out and flared leather flirty dress with her black Louboutin pumps.  Typical look for her.

Mary J. hit the carpet.

Rocking a long black and leopard dress and her blonde ponytail.  Pretty makeup...but not loving the look.

Ne-Yo hit the carpet of course.  Thankfully with his hat on.

Nicki Minaj and her horrific wig--which looks like it's trying to making a speedy getaway off her head to high-five a random passerby--hit tonight's carpet.  She's also slated to perform with Britney Spears.  And did a bit with the show's host at the very beginning.

This outfit....

Nicki rocked a Mark Fast Spring 2011 jumpsuit with white Versace lace up sandals.

Sigh.  I always feel like she racks up at American Apparel and other stores for the basics--then adds anything she can find from the craft store to the outfit.  Maybe it's just not my cup-o-tea and I'm just not her demographic.  But she's a pretty girl, so maybe she'll evolve with an actual sense of style soon....

Keri Hilson toned down her makeup and recent borderline trashy look a bit for the red carpet tonight:

And I'm loving it.  Gorgeous chartreuse color on her.  And the turquoise and yellow accent belt, sheer sleeves and mini length flatter her well.  Fab.

And 50 Cent showed off his new headphones with his homie Floyd Mayweather.  Their bromance is...interesting.

Grammy-winning artist Esperanza Spalding dons some fancy designer wear for her new May 2011 InStyle Magazine spread.  See the fab pics inside and also see Nicki Minaj performing in Las Vegas.

 

In her new InStyle Magazine spread, jazz chick Esperanza Spalding (who was involved lots of controversy surrounding her besting Justin Bieber for Best New Artist at the Grammys this year) dons Moschino, Versace, Prada, and Michael Kors. 

 

Esperanza will be headlining Rhode Island’s Newport Jazz Festival over the summer.  Such a gorgeous girl.

 

And in Nicki Minaj news.....

The "Superbass" singer performed at the Chateau Nightclub and Gardens at the Paris Las Vegas hotel yesterday.  

 

After her performance, she and her crazy faces headed over to the Sugar Factory American Brasserie to check out the snacks.

And she stumbled upon some fancy flavored couture lollipops.

Well isn't this cute.  Comedian Marlon Wayans was spotted playing a little football in the Pacific Ocean with his son, Shawn.  Pics of their daddy-and-me time in Maui when you read on...

Marlon Wayans headed to one of the most beautiful spots in the U.S. to spend some beach time with his son, Shawn.  He's doing a 2-day comedy tour around the island, so he brought his fam along with him:

Marlon and his girlfriend Angelica also have a daughter named Arnai.  Fun daddy-and-me times!

PARTY FAB: LisaRaye Celebrates Her Upcoming Show "Single Ladies"

We told you earlier about VH1's new scripted show "Single Ladies" starring LisaRaye and Stacey Dash, and the ladies have been celebrating its upcoming debut.  LisaRaye threw a party in Atlanta this weekend and we have pics inside.......

 

Last night, LisaRaye celebrated her new "Single Ladies" show at Jeffrey-Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, GA in a "high-end shoe boutique"  filled with local celebrities. 

LisaRaye posed with Brandi Williams from the R&B pop group Blaque.  Where has SHE been?

She also kicked it with Olympic Gold Medalist Natasha Hastings.

LisaRaye's daughter (and Apple Bottoms spokesgirl) Kai Morae hit up the event with Brandi.

Single Ladies, the 2-hour movie event, debuts Monday, May 30th at 9 PM ET/PT on Vh1.  And after the movie event, "Single Ladies" will continue on VH1 as a scripted series, on June 6 at 9PM.
