| First Image Of James Franco In Apes! Posted: 25 Feb 2011 11:40 AM PST Check out the first image of our resident fave James Franco in the upcoming prequel Rise Of The Apes! It was supposed to be hitting screens this summer, but got pushed back to winter so they could work more on the special effects. Take all the time you need, as long as it's awesome!! Here's a brief synopsis:

| Oh No! Alex Pettyfer Nearly Misses Beastly Premiere After House Fire! Posted: 25 Feb 2011 11:30 AM PST But thankfully, he wasn't hurt. That's the most important thing. Last night, people became very concerned when Alex Pettyfer was MIA at the red carpet premiere of his new movie, Beastly. At the very last moment, he arrived, but bypassed the carpet almost entirely, saved for signing a few autographs for some excited fans. His rep later explained to the press that Alex was delayed by a small fire broke out at his home in Beverly Hills. The blaze was thankfully "contained" in his garage by LAFD firefighters and put out within 24 minutes. Phew! We're glad to hear that. Hopefully, nothing too valuable was damaged, but even still, lets just be grateful he didn't get caught in the crossfire. That would've been awful. [Image via WENN.] |
| Charlie Sheen NOT Getting His Own HBO Show, Says HBO Posted: 25 Feb 2011 11:20 AM PST Earlier today, we learned that Charlie Sheen had "plans" to move to HBO, in a brand new half-hour comedy called Sheen's Corner! Here's a message he sent about it from his Bahamas vacation:
When asked about it, a rep from HBO said the following:
The real question now is whether or not Charlie actually believed he had an HBO deal in the works. Was he completely delusional? Or was this some sort of bizarre, misguided attempt at humor? What do U think? [Image via WENN.] |
| Charlie Sheen's Two And A Half Men Most Likely Cancelled - For GOOD! Posted: 25 Feb 2011 11:08 AM PST Wow. We knew that his behavior would catch up with him one day, but we didn't expect it so suddenly - or like this. Now that Charlie Sheen's insane, out of control rant against his Two and a Half Men boss, Chuck Lorre, resulted in production being suspended indefinitely, many have begun to wonder what will happen to the series, and unfortunately, we've gotten word that it's not looking good. As we've already reported, Sheen lost about $5 million when he essentially forfeited his pay for the four episodes originally expected to begin taping next week, which is pocket change for him, but in truly unfortunate news, it appears as though the show's crew won't be seeing a dime of that, either - despite the loss of work being out of their control. Meanwhile, we're SHOCKED to hear that sources close to the comedy don't think that production will EVER resume, and that last week's episode will most likely serve as an impromptu series finale! Unbelievable. He may be in denial and justify his behavior by claiming that he's not hurting anyone else with his antics, but once again, he's cost countless people work, and more importantly, money. Such a shame. |
| Michael Lohan Claims Dina Snorted Cocaine…With Lindsay!!! Posted: 25 Feb 2011 11:00 AM PST Behold parenting at its worst. When Judge Schwartz scolded Lindsay Lohan the other day in court, we specifically remember him saying something along the lines of seeking counsel from someone outside her family. If it wasn't already clear why he made this recommendation, cue Michael Lohan's latest shenanigan. This morning, Papa Lohan went live on the radio to talk about, what else, his family's problems and, without any hesitation, blurted out that his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, snorted coke with Lindsay in the past. Yeah, he went there - and we're not sure which one of them we find more appalling. Of course, if it's true that Dina encouraged her daughter's drug use, she's about as awful a mother as they come. But then you have Michael, who instead of taking this information to a psychiatrist or even Lindsay's lawyer, went to the media to get attention and garner some sympathy. Not that much better. We have his interview for you here (above) and if you think you can stomach his blatant disregard for the wellness of his family, then give it a listen. As per usual, Michael, you astound us with how low you'll go for attention. |

| Posted: 25 Feb 2011 10:20 AM PST Ask and you shall receive! This morning, we posted pictures of Taylor Swift canoodling with Glee star Chord Overstreet at the LA Kings hockey game last night. While we were elated to see Swifty moving on with a new man, (and very handsome one at that), we wondered where their paths had crossed. They're both very busy bees and we don't want to think that this was some sort of "arrangement" handled by their PR teams for some publicity. Then, we got an email from a reliable source who cleared things up for us. Chord is actually the son of very famous songwriter/country music star, Paul Overstreet. Seeing as Taylor is one of the biggest country acts of the last few years, Chord has probably met her on more than one occasion through his pops. Excellent! So, they've got a good repertoire already in place, they've gone on their first date…now we want to see some fireworks! We're rooting for you, Swift-Street! We think you're totally adorable together! It's been a tough road for Catherine Zeta-Jones, and we're glad to see things turning around for her. On Thursday, Catherine was honored by Prince Charles at a Buckingham Palace ceremony, and she is now officially a Commander of the Order of the British Empire! Very impressive, Catherine!
