For those of you who may have missed some of these films, and are innerested in some light reading this weekend, you can read all of the Oscar nominated screenplays HERE. You KNOW your friends will be impressed when you actually know what they're talking about when they announce Another Year as a nominee! Ha! 'Original' Beatles Version Of Smack My Bitch Up! Posted: 26 Feb 2011 09:20 AM PST Oh man! We LOVE these! Not only were The Beatles apparently responsible for the original version of Lady GaGa's mega-hit, Telephone, but they also were behind the controversial Prodigy track Smack My Bitch Up! Check out some old school footage of the iconic band's original rendition on the song (above)! LOLz! Not as authentic-looking as the GaGa one, but still pretty HIGHlarious! Thoughts??

Church Hero Asked To Leave Church After Coming Out! Posted: 26 Feb 2011 08:40 AM PST You might remember Jeanne Assam as the security guard that saved many lives in 2007, as she took down a rampaging gunman bent on destroying those who were a part of the New Life Church. Unfortunately, according to Assam, the church supposedly doesn't welcome her now that she has revealed that she's gay. If you don't remember that tragic story, here is a small recount: On that morning, 24-year-old Matthew Murray shot and killed two New Life parishioners after having murdered two others the night before at a training center for Christian missionaries in Arvada. Heavily armed, Murray would have killed many more at New Life, had it not been for Assam, who was working as a volunteer security guard. Assam was outgunned but undeterred. She fired repeatedly at Murray, wounding him and pinning him down. He then shot himself. So incredibly brave. She had also been a member of the church she was defending. And then, she came out as gay, and claims the church told her this: Thanks for saving our lives, but please leave now, because we don't like what you stand for. If that's true, it is so so sad. But the church tells a different story: "Absolutely untrue," said Boyd. "We welcome everyone at New Life. We would never tell someone to leave because of their sexual orientation. Jeanne will always be a hero at New Life." So what's true? We can def see the church not accepting her and her orientation because in 2006 Pastor Ted Haggard left the church on the grounds that he'd had a relationship with a male escort. She has done so much physically for them, and now she can do so much for the gay community as a role model. It would be a huge asset to have her as part of your congregation for many reasons! After Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stepped out with quite the rock on her left ring finger earlier in the week, many began speculating that her boyfriend, Jason Statham, had proposed to her - but apparently, that's not the case! Cameron Diaz Loves Porn! Posted: 26 Feb 2011 08:00 AM PST That's right. We heard it from her lips ourselves! While appearing on Jimmey Kimmel Live earlier this week, Jimmy Kimmel asked Cameron Diaz if she likes dirty movies, to which she replied with gusto, "I love porn!" LOLz! At least she's honest. Jimmy Kimmel than bated her further by asking about her thoughts on hotels to which she answered: "You know what I love about hotels? How discreet they are. I love that. They always give you that little thing at the bottom, 'Your room will be charged the same as any other room, no titles will be used.' [All the movies] cost the same amount." Looks like she wasn't kidding about loving porn. She even knows the intimate details about hotel porno! Also a fun fact about Cameron: She's not a fan of the Jersey Shore. Horror Director Talks New Hellraiser And Halloween 3-D Posted: 26 Feb 2011 07:20 AM PST After Rob Zombie's unwatchable unimpressive Halloween II, we were NOT excited to hear that another Halloween film was in the works. Fortunately, it looks like Rob Zombie won't be involved in the upcoming Halloween film, so MAYBE it won't be too bad. Here's what horror director/Zombie's replacement Patrick Lussier had to say about Halloween 3-D, as well as his upcoming Hellraiser reboot: "Yeah, well, [we've got] the [H3] script sitting there. We would make that in a hearbeat…[The Weinsteins'] focus has shifted onto Hellraiser, and they obviously want to focus on Scream 4…[their] sort of "slasher mind" is probably very, very focused on that film and the release of that film. So I can't really speak for them, you know?" "I wish I had more to tell you. I know Todd and I would love to shoot that, love to shoot the script [that was] so much fun to write and delve into that Carpenter world." Sounds like we've got a ways to go until the next Halloween, but looks like it'll def happen after Hellraiser, unless the Weinsteins decide to focus on Scream 5 by that point instead.
