Kelsey Grammer & Kayte Walsh Get Freaky In Miami, AGAIN

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 03:56 PM PST

Last Friday we saw some disturbing photos of enfianced Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh gettin’ frisky at their hotel in Miami, FL and today we learn that the friskiness continues, unfettered. Kelsey and Kayte were photographed, again, smoochin’ it up by the pool but, thankfully, this time Kelsey was wearing more clothing. Whew!

Kelsey Grammer can't seem to hide his affection for his 29-year-old fiancée Kayte Walsh, but his latest embrace proved almost too much to handle. The 55-year-old Frasier star was all over Kayte as they frolicked poolside at the Eden Roc Resort in Miami Beach. But poor Kayte seemed to be getting squashed by her new love as he lay on top of her while they cuddled on a pool chair. The couple were enjoying the Miami sunshine and even when they left the pool, Kelsey couldn't seem to part from his favourite pair of swimming trunks. Not even a trip to the supermarket could persuade the rotund actor to put on something slightly more appropriate. The star squeezed into the blue floral shorts as he and Kayte paid a visit to Whole Foods in Miami.

I swear, just because Kayte is 29, it’s as if Kelsey thinks he’s 29, too. Yeah, he’s not. But good for him for enjoying life … and for finding a young chippy with which he can have his fun … even if it’s kinda painful for us to have to see :/

Justin Bieber Cuts His Hair!

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 03:18 PM PST

The day that teenage girls have been dreading has finally come … Justin Bieber decided to cut his hair! Now, before any of y’all start panicking and begin planning the dramatic way in which you want to end your existence (because a world with a bald Bieber would be no world worth living in), let me assure you that the Biebs does still have hair. All he did was get it cut. AND, he has donated his cut hair to raise funds for various charities. So … it’s a good thing.

The very fabric of the universe was altered today … Justin Bieber got a haircut … and it was unveiled on TMZ Live! The Biebs underwent a little snip-snip today while on the set of a music video for a song he did with Rascal Flatts — that’s Gary from the group (above) having a little fun with the scissors. (Ed.’s note: Kids, don’t play with scissors) On TMZ Live today, Justin said the actual cutting was done by his regular hairdresser Vanessa. He said he was a little nervous about the cut, but he “wanted to change it up” and he thought the cut was “kind of a mature look” … The hair that was cut from Justin’s head has been collected and will be doled out to a few organizations for charity. TMZ is getting a lock and we’re going to use it to raise money for some animal charities.

I know it may be difficult to control yourself but … do try. Yes, Bieber‘s swoopy mop is no longer … but, look on the bright side … at least now you can rip down all of the old Justin Bieber photos you have taped up on your walls to make room for all the NEW Justin Bieber photos that are to come! See, there is a silver lining to every dark storm cloud.

So … I gotta know … what do y’all think of the Bieb‘s new ‘do?

John Travolta Takes A Vacation From Wearing His Fake Hair

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 02:23 PM PST

New parents John Travolta and Kelly Preston have made their way to Hawaii for a little family vacay and it looks like John forgot to pack his hair weave. John goes to great lengths to make it seem like he has a full head of hair, normally, but decided — for whatever reason — to hit the beach with nothing on his head but the 3 hairs he’s go left.

It's no secret that John Travolta has a fondness for wearing a weave, but the actor has decided to go au natural during a family trip to the beach. The Grease star spent the day with his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella by the sea in Hawaii and was spotted with a hair-free head. The family were in Hawaii celebrating Travolta's 57th birthday and it seems he's decided to bring in a new year by ageing naturally. John's receding hairline was a far cry from his usual luscious locks that have been the talk of Hollywood hair salons for years. And as the balding Pulp Fiction star relaxed in a hammock, Kelly decided to cool off in the ocean by swimming with 10-year-old Ella … But John's new crop was the most shocking look of all, after spending years hiding under a wig. Just last month Travolta was pictured with a full head of dark brown wavy hair at the opening of the Breitling Flagship store in New York. On January 14 his hair was a picture of long lushes perfection, but just days later on the 19th, the follicularly-challenged actor's mop had transformed into a full yet short crop. His weave seems to regularly change colour and cut slightly, along with slight changes to his hairline, sparking the controversy over its origins.

Aww … good for John for deciding to go au natural. Look, we all know he’s balding … he should just embrace it! I get that in public, he likes to portray youth and vitality with a full head of hair … but his weaves are usually so terrible-looking, he’d be better off not even trying. I say, embrace the bald head! You can do it, John!

Meet The Faux Prince William & Kate Middleton

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 01:53 PM PST

Now that the invitations have been sent out for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, it is time to move on to the next phase of the wedding prep … the made-for-TV movie. Actors Nico Evers Swindell and Camilla Luddington have been cast as Wills and Kate for an upcoming TV movie currently being filmed in Bel Air, CA this week. IMHO, neither actor looks like the person they have been hired to portray but they’re moving forward with this project nonetheless.

These are the first pictures of the actors portraying Prince William and Kate Middleton in character as the royal couple. Camilla Luddington and Nico Evers Swindell have commenced filming for the made-for-TV movie in Bel Air, California. The relatively unknown actors put on a very affectionate display of cuddling and gazed adoringly into each other’s eyes – something we have never been privy to with the real couple. British actress Camilla’s brunette hair has been blow dried into Miss Middleton’s trademark glossy mane and she wore a patterned navy dress and black heels. The 26-year-old actress, who has had minor roles in CSI and soap Days Of Our Lives, posed with Nico in front of a grand entranceway with stone paving. Despite the storyline chronicling the couple’s courtship in Edinburgh, filming is taking place in California, with UCLA standing in for St Andrews University. New Zealand-born Nico, 31, was looking preppy in a pale blue V-neck jumper, shirt and jeans. The brunette actor’s hair has been dyed to match William’s dark blonde, but with his full head of locks and angular features, Nico actually more closely resembles William’s younger brother Harry. Nico has had bit parts in television series NCIS: Los Angeles, Guiding Light and Law & Order, plus a small role in the 2010 Mel Gibson movie Edge of Darkness. The made for TV movie is being created by Lifetime – the network behind the controversial Amanda Knox film – who hope to complete production before the royal wedding on April 29.

While I’m sure these actors will do a fine enough job for a Lifetime made-for-TV movie, I don’t think either of them look at all like the people they’ve been hired to portray. Especially when you see a side-by-side comparison:

BUT, absent the fact that they don’t look at all similar, I am DYING to see a fictionalized movie about the romance of Wills and Kate. I’ll deffo be watching … will you?

NYC Family Reunion

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 01:24 PM PST

Yesterday was a pretty fun day for David and me. We managed to cull together all of David’s closest friends and family here in NYC for an afternoon brunch which turned into an all day funfest summit that lasted well into the night. Marissa and Ryan put together THE most amazing meal, which was followed by general hanging out, which was followed by a spirited night of board games … it was, essentially, the perfect day.

We ate and ate and ate … then had coffee and dessert … then snacked all afternoon/evening/night. It was one of those kind of Sundays. For entertainment, we decided not to venture out into the bitter cold and opted instead for a couple of board games:

So as not to reopen some of the wounds that came out of last night’s war of board games, I’ll just say that I was on both winning teams and I harbor no ill will toward anyone ;) Once we started getting slap happy, the real fun began. David and his sisters Lara & Eden very proudly showed off their ability to do this with their mouths:

Those aren’t wax lips, I’ll just leave it at that.

Our plans for tonight are still forming … my day today has been pretty much a total waste because I’ve been spending way too much time effing around with Pandora Radio. But, it’s President’s Day … a day off for many folks so … that’s my excuse. Happy Monday, y’all!!

Watch: Kylie Minogue Is The New Spokesmodel For The Lexus CT 200h

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 11:18 AM PST

Kylie Minogue, the Aussie pop queen who kicked off her fabulous new Les Folies Tour 2011 in Herning, Denmark over the weekend, is featured in a new video commercial for the Lexus CT 200h — which is said to be the world’s first “full hybrid luxury compact car”. The clip is cute … check it out below.

The commercial highlights the car’s quietness in a clever way. Drum roll, please:

I’m telling you, Kylie Minogue can sell me anything. I don’t believe this commercial is being shown here in the US (primarily because a great portion of this country just don’t get Kylie) but I still love it. Kylie always looks amazing. Ain’t she the cutest?

The US Version Of ‘Skins’ Keeps Losing Viewership

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 10:55 AM PST

As I expected, the MTV-produced US version of the amazing UK series Skins is failing … miserably. Not only have pretty much all of the show’s sponsors demanded to NOT be associated with the show but so, too, has the viewing audience been running away as fast as they can from the show. Ratings for Skins (US) have been falling significantly since the show debuted last month … with the most recent ep failing to attract a million viewers (down from the 3.2 million who watched the premiere ep) … but MTV plans to stick with the show and air all 10 eps — whether we bother to tune in or not.

Not quite a million people tuned in to watch the fifth episode of MTV's controversial teen drama "Skins" last Monday night, a major drop from the 3.2-plus million people who watched the premiere on January 19. By means of comparison, despite outcry from various Italian-American groups over perpetuating negative stereotypes, the first season of “Jersey Shore” built on its lack-luster premiere of 1.375 million viewers to reach over 3 million by its fifth episode, becoming MTV’s most-watched show. But halfway through the first season of “Skins,” MTV is staying true to its promise to air all 10 episodes, despite a parent’s group’s request for a federal investigation into whether it constitutes child pornography, the aforesaid declining viewership, and, most important for the network’s bottom line, a continued lack of advertiser support. "At this point, the only advertising that you see on the show, aside from Clearasil, are movie trailers and various direct marketing type of things," Dan Isett, director of public policy for the Parents Television Council, tells FOX411. "So, there's virtually no mainline commercial support for this show. There's no economic reason to keep 'Skins' on the air. If I were a Viacom shareholder, I'd be upset that my corporate management is going out of their way to lose me money by putting on this show." The Parents Television Council is the watchdog group that called for the show to be investigated for possibly being child pornography. However, a marketing experts says "Skins" could be valuable to Viacom if it helps keep the MTV brand "edgy," despite its weak ratings. "The show has been losing its traction pretty quickly, but from everything I know about Viacom, they look at their programs not only for audience size, but also as a promotion for MTV," marketing expert Adam Armbruster explained. "They look at it in terms as a kind of 'halo' effect—the show may not get great numbers, but it brings more attention to the network itself, supporting the brand. MTV sees itself as being dangerous, edgy, anti-authority—and 'Skins' is right in MTV's sweet spot for what the brand is all about." And MTV definitely seems pleased with all of the press the controversy surrounding "Skins" has created. “I think it’s always good when people are talking about you and people are certainly talking about ('Skins'),” MTV programming chief David Janollari told the Hollywood Reporter last week. But aside from the outrage over the racy content of "Skins," the show itself hasn't received much interest from viewers or buzz on the Internet. "Quite frankly—no one I know watches 'Skins'," TV critic and editor of bsideblog.com, Ben Mandelker, tells FOX411. "Absolutely no one is talking about 'Skins' on the Internet. Maybe in some forum, somewhere, but it's not being talked about on Vulture, Gawker—I'm not seeing links on Facebook, I'm not seeing things on Twitter. I forget the show is even on. I don't even know when it's on, to be honest."

For me, the only reason I even pay attention to the US version of Skins is because I am such a big fan of the original UK version of the show and it literally pains me to see what the US version has done to the UK version of the show. I have watched every ep of the US version of Skins and there hasn’t been a single ep where I didn’t spend a considerable amount of time cringing at what I see on the screen. In contrast, I have also watched every episode of the 5 season (and running) of the original UK version and I have loved each and every ep. To be honest, all the controversy about the sex and drug use on Skins (US) wouldn’t even matter if the show was actually worth watching. The acting is just horrendous. I sincerely hope that this first season of Skins (US) is the last. If MTV really wants to do things right, they should just import the superior UK version of the show instead.

‘The New Yorker’ Magazine Goes Wedding Dress Shopping With Hugh Hefner’s Fiancée

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 10:16 AM PST

On the day after Xmas last December we learned that 84 year old Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner got himself engaged to be married to 24 year old Playboy playmate Crystal Harris. For some strange reason, The New Yorker magazine decided to tag along with Crystal as she shopped for wedding dresses in a sort of “day in the life” feature in this week’s issue of their magazine (brilliantly titled Something Old, Something New).

The article (which can be read in full HERE) discusses the “surprise” engagement and all the things leading up to the engagement announcement but, for me, the most interesting part is the actual dress shopping excursion as well as her visit to a wedding cake shop.

A little after noon, Harris arrived at Panache, a bridal salon in Beverly Hills. Two dresses, both by the designer Romona Keveza, had been sent from New York. A saleswoman accompanied Harris into a dressing room. Kellie Olisky, a Playboy publicist and default wedding planner, was sitting in a red velvet chair, typing e-mails on a Droid. The first dress—blush pink, strapless, and mermaid-like, with silk-organza rosettes on the lower part—drew gasps. Harris spun around on a pedestal surrounded by mirrors. "Do you want to walk down the runway?" a saleswoman asked, pointing to a raised red carpet that led to another set of mirrors. "You can see yourself from a distance." The second dress—ivory, strapless, with a fuller bell at the bottom—did not draw the same level of gasps. "I like the other one," Harris said. She considered a possible reception dress and four bridesmaid dresses. ("One sister is in Idaho," Olisky said. "She might need a sleeve.") The palette was to be low-key. "We want to have everything very muted—on the tablecloths, silver and white, and maybe a blush underlay," Olisky said. "That way, it stays very romantic."

This dress bit sounds like it was a pretty typical bride-shopping-for-dresses excursion (that is, with the New Yorker magazine tagging along) but when she visits the cake shop, we learn a bit more about the age difference between Hugh and Crystal. I mean, it’s obvious that an 84 year old and a 24 year old are separated by a massively expansive number of years but … well, read on to see what I mean:

Next stop: Hansen Cakes, on Fairfax. On the street, a window belonging to a different bakery briefly caught Harris's attention. It displayed a cake in the shape of breasts in a push-up bra. "Wait, do we want a boob cake?" she said. Inside the Hansen Cakes showroom, cake replicas stood on banquet tables. Decisions on shape were made swiftly: round rather than square; four tiers rather than three; stacked layers rather than columns. Choosing a filling was trickier. "Strawberry's good," Harris said. "Like, cake that has strawberries in it? So good. And Hef likes that kind, too. He eats the same thing every day. He has chicken-noodle soup every day at five o'clock." "Lipton's," Olisky said. It was decided that white-chocolate shavings, an echo of the rosettes on the dress, would make the best cake décor. "The whole theme of it is going to be very romantic," Olisky said. While Olisky took pictures of Harris eating forkfuls of cake, Monique Hansen, the shop's owner, put a few pieces in a box for the groom. "I've been selling Hef cakes for years," she said. "Hef's had a lot of cake."

Oh yes, I’m sure Hef‘s had quite his fair share of cakes over the 8 decades of his life … and quite a bit of Lipton’s chicken-noodle soup, too, I’d imagine. I really hope that Crystal is enjoying her role as Hef‘s fiancée and eventual (I hope) wife. She will forever have the distinction as being the last woman in Hugh Hefner‘s life … which is quite an honor, I guess.

Face Painting Fun With Alyson Hannigan & Satyana

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 09:04 AM PST

Alyson Hannigan and her adorable little girl Satyana made their out to the Farmer’s Market in LA over the weekend and from the looks of it, they had a fantastically fun time together. Saty got to play on a slide before she got her face painted. The photos are ADORABLE!

Hahahaha … it looks like Satyana wasn’t really into the face painting at first but clearly, she loved the results. It is crazy how much Satyana looks like her mom … they both have the same beautiful smile. I love seeing Aly out and about with Satyana … it always looks like they are having the best time ever. So cute!!

Images From The Set Of ‘The Hobbit’ Have Made Their Way To The Internets

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 08:26 AM PST

After much delay in production, things are moving full steam ahead on the Peter Jackson-directed film version of the J.R.R. Tolkein classic The Hobbit. Now that the Hobbit dwarfs have been cast, early production has moved to assembling the sets for filming. TheOneRing.net has come upon a set of exclusive photos from the Miramar, NZ of The Hobbit and they share them with all of us.

Ringer Spy Mr. Anderson sends along these exclusive pics of The Hobbit sets being built in Miramar, NZ. If you look closely at some of the pictures, you'll notice that the architecture seems to resemble that of Moria. I'm sure we can all draw our own conclusions, but could this be a flashforward sequence for Moria? Maybe we are getting a peak into the Lonely Moutain? Or maybe it has nothing to do with Dwarves at all!

I must confess that it has been many, many years since I’ve read The Hobbit and to be honest, I don’t recall the names of the places in the book … let alone what they may look like. But, I deffo plan to re-read the classic novel before this film hits the big screen. As for filming, The Hobbit is now scheduled to begin principal filming production on March 21:

After several delays, “The Hobbit” will now start shooting on March 21. Aidan Turner who will portray Kili recently told Entertainment Weekly that he has been joining physical training for the movie and growing his beard to resemble the dwarf. Martin Freeman takes the lead role of Bilbo, with other officially announced actors including Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis, Sylvester McCoy and Elijah Wood. Peter Jackson is set to serve behind the lens for the two-part adventure movie.

We still have a very long time to wait before The Hobbit hits theaters but the time will fly by in no time. I’m actually looking forward to going back to Peter Jackson‘s Middle Earth again. His Lord of the Rings trilogy films are just so awesome … it’ll be nice to see his take on the prequel story that gets the whole saga started.

Watch: ‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’ Releases A Third Movie Trailer

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 07:26 AM PST

Earlier this month we got to see the second movie trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon which was released during Super Bowl XLV. Today we get to see the third movie trailer that isn’t much different from the last one but does feature some dialog from the film (plus it omits the blaring alarm noise that makes the previous trailer almost unwatchable). In case you missed the second trailer or just want another look (with dialog), check out this new trailer below.

As you may already know, Megan Fox (who starred in the first two Transformers films) has been replaced with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in this third film and to be honest … you can’t even really tell. Sure the girls have different hair colors but the female roles in these sorts of films are as interchangeable as the usually nameless fighting robots. Check out this new trailer below:

I still MUCH prefer the first Dark of the Moon trailer that we saw back in December but … I have a feeling this film will be good. I know it will be better than the last super shitty Transformers film so … things can only go up, right?

Michael Lohan Pens An Open Letter To Billy Ray Cyrus

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 06:56 AM PST

Last week a new GQ magazine interview with Billy Ray Cyrus was released wherein he publicly expressed his belief that Hannah Montana — the Disney TV show that brought his daughter fame and fortune — “destroyed” his family. As a result, his daughter Miley Cyrus has expressed to friends that she is pissed at her father for giving the interview. Now Michael Lohan, the king of the d-bags, is trying to worm his way into the conversation by issuing an open letter to Billy Ray as a show of support … but to me, IMHO, it just sounds like Lohan is merely looking for a little attention for himself. Read on for the full text of Lohan‘s letter to Billy Ray.

Billy Ray,

Oh My God! Am I seeing and reliving almost the same exact situations, scrutiny, pain and willingness to sacrifice yourself, for the sake of your family? As hard and frustrating as it is, believe me when I say, it’s a road worth traveled. Even if it may have its' bumps and grinds along the way. As I was raised, there is nothing like the love a man has for his family nor is there any length he will go to save or protect them. The hardest part is, experiencing the pain that comes from the resistance of the very one(s) you are trying to save. The one(s) you love so much, and are willing to die for, are too blinded by the “bright light” and people who use our loved one(s) while everyone thinks you are supposed to sit back and pretend it goes unseen. As I don’t see you as any one of the three monkeys with their hands over their ears, eyes and mouth. I, nor you, are the type of men who will sit back and do or say nothing at the risk of being persecuted. When I look at what you are going through, I am forced to see myself. Two men who know what divorce and alienation, have done to our families. Why I ask, if it so hard for our wives, children and even the public, to see that all we are trying to do, is to be there for our family and try to make things right? Isn’t it clear that the answer is so easy but the people who don’t matter, make it so hard? While all we want is our family and normal lives back, others forsake that for so much more. Why is it that people don’t put themselves in or shoes? And say to themselves, "How would I feel if that was happening to me?" The sad part is, they don’t and they probably never will. But that doesn’t mean that men like you and I should ever give up. While we can’t change the world, our example just might touch a few, and maybe even the one(s) we seek to save. To that end, I want to say, that I know what you are going through, I feel your pain and frustration, and I also admire your strength, dedication and love, for your family in the name of God.

Best and God Bless,

Michael Lohan

I mean … ugh. It is just amazing to me how Michael Lohan is always on the look-out for a way to turn any situation into an opportunity to get some attention for himself. I stopped counting the number of times he used the word “I” in this letter to Billy Ray. IMHO, this letter doesn’t do any favors for Billy Ray … on the contrary, it likens him even more to the comparisons being made about him to Lohan. I now have this horrible image of Bill Ray getting sucked in and hanging out with Michael Lohan and fellow d-bag Jon Gosselin. I don’t even like Billy Ray but even I wouldn’t wish that upon him. I just hope that Billy Ray doesn’t turn into another Michael Lohan. I don’t think the world could handle that level of douchebaggery.

David & Victoria Beckham Have Been Invited To The Royal Wedding

Posted: 21 Feb 2011 06:33 AM PST

Yesterday we got our first look at the official invitation to the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, which will take place in London, England in April. The invitations have been sent and the lucky folks invited to the ceremony should have received their invites for the big day. Altho it hasn’t been officially confirmed (by anyone) just yet, reports going around suggest that England’s most famous celebrity couple are very likely to have been invited. It’s all but certain that David and Victoria Beckham will be in attendance at the Royal Wedding this Spring.

David and Victoria Beckham have been invited to the royal wedding, sources indicated last night. In a decision approved by the Queen and Prince Charles, the footballer and his wife are likely to be among the most high-profile celebrities on Prince William and Kate Middleton's guest list of 1,900. When the prince, who is president of the Football Association, and Beckham met in South Africa during last year's World Cup they were said by insiders to 'get on like a house on fire, professionally and personally'. They also led England's failed bid for the 2018 World Cup, while fashion designer Mrs Beckham revealed this month that she is sending a selection of dresses to the bride-to-be. Courtiers said yesterday that the pews at Westminster Abbey will contain a 'small number' of A-list stars and a 'good proportion' of soldiers and pilots, as well as more than 1,000 friends and family and 80 charity workers to reflect the prince's 'fairly ordinary life' living in North Wales and serving with the RAF. William, 28, drew inspiration from Prince Andrew's 1986 wedding, when he was a serving naval officer, a senior royal aide revealed – despite William failing to invite his uncle's ex-wife and close friend Sarah Ferguson … Beckham and the prince showed their closeness in Johannesburg last summer when William joked that an intruder who had got into the England players' dressing room was actually him in a football shirt. He then made Beckham, 35, burst out laughing by adding: '(Prince) Harry and I left the door open, that's why it happened. It was our fault.' Mrs Beckham, who is five months pregnant with the couple's fourth child, heaped praise on Kate, 29, during a preview of her autumn/winter 2011 line at New York Fashion Week. The former Spice Girl, 36, said: 'Apparently, she likes my clothes and has asked to see a selection. I admire her tremendously. She's a beautiful young girl, she has a wonderful figure and I think she wears clothes beautifully.' The couple are thought to have been invited to the ceremony on April 29 and may also have been asked to a lunchtime buffet for 600 people hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace. They will not attend the most exclusive part of the day, a dinner dance for just 300 guests hosted by Prince Charles, sources said. Beckham's spokesman declined to comment on 'a private matter', while St James's Palace refused to be pressed on individual invitations

Altho not confirmed, I think it’s very safe to assume that Les Beckhams will be in attendance at the wedding. Posh and Becks have done much in the celebrity service of their home country and it would be a terrible snub if they were left off the guest list. The fact that Kate is interested in having Vicki B. dress her after she marries William is a very telling sign that there is an affinity between the ladies … and yes, Becks and the Princes got very close in their failed bid to have England host the next World Cup. It’ll be very cool to see Posh and Becks at the Royal Wedding … I wonder what they are going to wear.

As for the other guests who have been invited, have any of y’all gotten your invites yet?
