| Zach Galifianakis' Coming To HBO Posted: 23 Mar 2011 11:50 AM PDT Nice! We can't wait to see what's to become of this. Zach Galifianakis has reported inked an impressive deal with HBO to develop a new mockumentary show for the network. The project is already in pre-production and is described as a "low-budget comedy presentation…[that]chronicles one day in the life of the comedian," namely its star, Brody Stevens. Brody and Zach already have a solid repitore and its rumored Zach will appear in the pilot episode of the project as well as make guest appearances should the series gets picked up. | Dolly Parton Announces New Album, Better Day, And WORLD TOUR! Posted: 23 Mar 2011 11:40 AM PDT It's official! She's back! And she ain't messing around this time! Rejoice! Dolly Parton announced today that not only will she be releasing a brand new album this summer, called Better Day, but she'll be embarking on a massive world tour through the US, the UK, Europe, and Australia to promote it! The iconic singer will be premiering her lead single, Together You & I, as part of a live performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show May 26th, with the album following in either June or July! She explains:
So exciting! It really sounds as though she put a lot of thought into this whole project, and we think it's going to show - in the music AND the live tour! We're so thrilled! Welcome back, Dolly! After a small break, our beloved Goddess Adele is back at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart! According to the Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's new album, 21, fell to the number two spot last week in lieu of the new Lupe Fiasco LP, Lasers, but she has now knocked him down to number three spot, marking her third non-consecutive week as the most in-demand, selling 98,000! Amazing! This has seriously become the little album that could! Congratulations, gurl! |

| Howard Stern Vs. SiriusXM Radio: Round Two! Posted: 23 Mar 2011 11:10 AM PDT Yesterday, we learned that Howard Stern filed a lawsuit against SiriusXM Radio, saying that he was promised a share "in any success that the company achieved," but didn't receive further stock bonuses after Sirius acquired XM. We said yesterday that if we were SiriusXM, we wouldn't want to piss off Howard, and clearly we were right, because stock prices have already dropped from $2 to $1.65. Here's what Wunderlich Securities analyst Matthew Harrigan had to say about it:

| Michael Lohan Officially Charged With Domestic Violence Posted: 23 Mar 2011 10:50 AM PDT About time! Though he was arrested yesterday for allegedly beating up his ex-girlfriend, Kate Major, this morning, Michael Lohan was officially charged with domestic violence. More accurately, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office filed a misdemeanor charge of Inflicting Injury on a Cohabitant after Kate insisted to the authorities that Michael beat her within an inch of her life. Currently, he is being held on $30,000 bail and is set to be arraigned on May 23. Disgusting. Throw the book at him, we say. Do us all a favor and throw him in jail. Posted: 23 Mar 2011 10:40 AM PDT Yesterday, Chris Brown had a violent fit behind-the-scenes at Good Morning America after Robin Roberts questioned him about the infamous Rihanna incident. Despite his inappropriate behavior, it looks like GMA wants Chris back. Wow. Here's what Roberts had to say about him:

| Lindsay Lohan's Going To Trial! Refuses Plea Deal! Posted: 23 Mar 2011 10:24 AM PDT We hope you know what you're doing, girl. There's no turning back now! It has just been announced that Lindsay Lohan will NOT be accepting the plea deal offered to her by Judge Schwartz in her felony grand theft case and thus will be going to trial next month. Reportedly, Lindsay met with her lawyer yesterday afternoon to discuss all their options, but ultimately, Lindsay fervently stands behind her innocence that she is willing to risk facing serious jail time to prove it. Now, her fate rests in the hands of Judge Sautner, who is described as a "tough but fair judge." If she has enough evidence to prove that she never stole a thing that fateful day in Venice, then she could walk away from this scot-free. However, that all depends on how Judge Sautner plans to handle her case in regards to her probation. The way the system works, Lindsay could be thrown in jail for a probation violation BEFORE she even stands trial for her theft charges. Gotta say, we really think you should have taken that plea deal, LiLo. We have a bad feeling that this plan of attack is not going to end the way you want it to. But it's your life. | Boardwalk Empire Star Paz De La Huerta Arrested After Drunken Brawl! Posted: 23 Mar 2011 10:14 AM PDT Well, isn't this just an example of the delicate and ladylike behavior that we've come to expect from her? Boardwalk Empire star Paz de la Huerta was arrested last night after allegedly throwing a glass at former The City castmember Samantha Swetra, and then punching her in the face - and all in front of Lindsay Lohan! Sources at the NYC Standard reveal that after Paz started hitting on Samantha's man, she got pissed and started making comments about how drunk the actress was. That got Paz more than a little irritable, so she in return introduced the reality star's face to a glass - and then her fist! Paz was then escorted out by security, while LiLo was left to help her friend pick the shards of glass out of her leg! Holy shiz! Well, at least Linds was smart enough to stay out of this mess! It must have been a nice change of pace for her to NOT be the being trainwreck of the evening! Swetra has since filed a police report, but so far no charges have been brought. As for Miz de la Huerta…you need to COOL IT, gurlfriend! If you want to be fall-down drunk every time you go out in public, that's fine by us, but try to keep your hands to yourself next time, mmmK? | Rob Kardashian Rushed To Hospital To Undergo Emergency Surgery Posted: 23 Mar 2011 10:10 AM PDT But don't worry. He's fine. Thankfully, his family was looking after him. According to reports, Rob Kardashian was rushed to the hospital yesterday after he complained of some severe stomach pain. Turns out he needed to have his appendix out and upon arrival to the hospital, he underwent emergency surgery to have it removed. Sources explained that yesterday, Rob was at home with his sister, Kim Kardashian, who was looking after him while he complained he was sick. Finally, when the pain became unbearable, his mother, Kris, took him to an L.A. hospital to have him check outed. This morning, we're told Rob is still resting, but that he is "fine and doing well."
