In January, photographer Terry Richardson released a batch of photos of 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto. In February, he released a new batch of Leto photos. For March, Richardson‘s batch of Jared Leto photos include his 30StM bandmates Shannon Leto and Tomislav Tomo Miličević. Check out some of the photos below.


I have to say, I’m getting quite used to this regular schedule of photos … I don’t think many people would mind seeing a new batch of Jared Leto photos every month. These are fun. I can’t wait to see what the next batch of photos will include.

Archie’s Gay BFF Kevin Keller Gets His Own Comic Book Series

In April of last year we were met Kevin Keller, an openly gay character newly introduced into the world of Archie Comics. For the first time since the comic book series debuted in 1939, a gay character was introduced into the gang of characters which famously include Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica. Today we learn that Kevin Keller is getting his own comic book series. Due to the success of his introduction, Archie Comics decided to release a special 4 issue set of books starring Kevin Keller.

The Archie gang’s openly gay new pal is coming out — with his own comic book. In a first-of-its-kind title from a major publisher, the gay teen who made his controversial Riverdale debut in a “Veronica” comic last year will headline the character-named “Kevin Keller” in June. The four-issue series shows how Keller arrived in Riverdale, where he’s become close pals with Archie and the gang. But it will also deal with heavier fare than the typical “Archie” comic — including how the character struggled with coming out to his parents, and bullying. If the title does as well as Archie co-CEO Jon Goldwater expects, it could lead to an ongoing series for the character, whose presence in the imaginary town would have been unthinkable not long ago. “This is the most important book this company has released in 70 years,” Goldwater said.

This is just … amazing. I don’t even know what I would’ve done as a young child if there had been a comic book series available to me that featured a gay character, let alone featured him/her as the main protagonist. I was very impressed to learn that the usually very traditional Archie Comics was going to introduce a gay character … giving him his own special series is just more than I dreamed possible. This is just another sign that our society is becoming more accepting of diversity. The inclusiveness that this new comic book series represents is not only welcome, it’s long overdue … and very much appreciated by me :D The Kevin Keller comic book series is due out in June.

‘The Hangover Part II’ Releases A First Movie Poster

Last month we got our first look at the first teaser trailer for the new sequel film The Hangover Part II. Today we get our first look at the first, just released movie poster for the film. As you can see in the poster below, the “Wolfpack” crew have got themselves a new member … of the monkey variety.

Warner Bros. has sent out the new poster for The Hangover Part II, and sadly it’s not that great. While I can appreciate any one-sheet that shows off a monkey wearing a Rolling Stones jacket front and center, all of the faces are heavily Photoshoped, Bradley Cooper looking especially plastic. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but you do get the sense that they could have come up with something better.

Anytime you introduce an animal into a film like this, the comedic hijinks have a much higher rate of success … but just throwing in a monkey will NOT guarantee that this movie will be funny. I am marginally interested in seeing what the Hangover guys have planned for this sequel. As I’ve said before, I enjoyed The Hangover but I didn’t think it was the end all, be all. I’m certain the plan is to amp up the outrageousness in this new film … which includes, throwing in President Bill Clinton into the mix. This poster is kinda meh but I don’t think it should impact what we can expect from The Hangover Part II.

Helen Mirren Makes Her Mark In Hollywood

Esteemed actress Helen Mirren was honored in Hollywood, CA yesterday in a special ceremony where she was asked to leave her hand and footprints in the cement in front of the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Not many actors are chosen for this honor so I think it speaks very highly of her status to be honored in this way. Check out some photos from this fun event below.

Helen Mirren has been immortalized in cement at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA. The Oscar-winning actress left her hand and foot prints outside the Hollywood landmark during a ceremony on Monday. She was introduced to the crowd by her Arthur co-star Russell Brand, who described her as an “empress, deity and God’s representative here on earth”. “There have been three real moments of triumph in my life,” said Mirren. “The first was being made a Dame of the British Empire, of which I’m enormously proud; the second was winning an Oscar; and the third is having my hands and feet in front of Grauman’s Chinese.” She went on to joke: “Yes, I am a Dame of the British Empire, but now I’m very proud to say that I’m one of the many dames on Hollywood Boulevard.” Mirren, who kept her high heels on when she stepped into the cement, was accompanied to the ceremony by her family.

This is fantastic. Helen Mirren is a true talent and I couldn’t be more elated that she has been honored in this way. Only the most legendary of Hollywood stars are asked to leave their hand and footprints in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater. She is just too fabulous. I understand that Helen is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on April 9. Now that is an ep of the show that I simply will not miss. Let’s send all of our love and congrats to Helen on her latest accomplishment :D

‘Source Code’ Premieres In Hollywood

Jake Gyllenhaal was all smiles … and frowns … and grimaces on the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of his new film Source Code last night. The premiere event took place at the ArcLight Cinemas here in LA and as you can see from the photos below, Jake showed off a whole range of emotions on the red carpet.


I mean, even when Jakey poo is looking’ pissy he still looks hawt. Not only am I excited to see Jake in a new film (a film that is getting pretty good reviews, I might add) but Source Code was directed by Duncan Jones … the man who directed the fantastic film Moon. Oh yeah, he also happens to be David Bowie‘s son, too. I’ve been impressed with the stuff I’ve seen from the film thus far … this is a movie that I don’t wanna miss.

Kevin Federline Is Having Another Baby!

Kevin Federline may not be good at doing any actual work but he is, apparently, really good at making babies. Not only did he father two children with his babymama Shar Jackson before he left her to father two more children with his ex-wife Britney Spears … but today we are hearing that he managed to get his current girlfriend Victoria Prince pregnant with her first child. At this point the news has not yet officially been confirmed but considering K-Fed‘s prowess at getting women pregs, I’m betting that this news is true.

It’s Papa Zao time again for Kevin Federline! The former backup dancer and onetime rapper is expecting his fifth child this summer – his first baby with girlfriend Victoria Prince, a source tells PEOPLE. Federline is already a father of four: sons Jayden, 4, and Preston, 5, with ex-wife Britney Spears; and son Kaleb, 6, and daughter Kori, 8, with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. This will be Prince’s first child. Federline, 33, and Prince, 28, a former professional volleyball player, have been dating for more than two years.

Yes, folks … once this baby is born, there will be 5 children born of the loins of Kevin Federline running around on Earth. I’m not sure if Victoria Prince works or not but she might want to — at the very least — start saving whatever money she can just in case he needs to take care of her child at some point in the future. All of K-Fed‘s other children are cared for financially by their mothers, there is no reason to think that this time will be any different. I wish I could be happy for Victoria on the birth of her first child but … well … yeah.

NintendOMG!

Yesterday I was visited by the postman who delivered a box full of goodness that pretty determined for me how I would be spending my day. Over the weekend, Nintendo released their new handheld gaming device the Nintendo 3DS and while I was excited to finally receive my new toy, I wasn’t fully expecting to be overly impressed. As soon as I turned it on, tho, I learned otherwise. The Nintendo 3DS is truly an effing impressive video gaming system.

I knew that I’d be impressed by the glassesless 3D technology but I wasn’t prepared or just how impressed I would be. It’s really freaking cool! Obviously, the photos above don’t show the 3D depth, but trust me … it’s beyond cool. There are AR (augmented reality) games built into the device that turn the room your in into a 3D arcade. If you have a Nintendo 3DS, you can scan this code and zap my Mii into your gaming device and play with me :D To be honest, I haven’t really delved too much into the 3DS‘s capabilities but I have been impressed with everything I’ve discovered thus far. I’m not sure if you are into video games but the Nintendo 3DS is a true revolution in gaming. It’s really one of those things you have to see to believe. Tonight, I’ll be making my way out to the Echo in Silverlake, CA to see one of my new face bands LIVE in concert. David Beckham Films A Pepsi Commercial With Sofia Vergara

Longtime Pepsi celebrity spokesmodel David Beckham teamed up with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara here in SoCal earlier today to film a Pepsi commercial together. Becks and Sofia were spotted on the commercial set on a beach in Santa Monica, CA paling around in between takes. Sofia looked really comfortable lounging on her beach chair while Becks looked dashingly handsome just standing around with his ball in his hand looking hot.


I honestly LOVE Becks as a spokesmodel because if he’s selling something, I’m buying. While I am a diehard Coca Cola fan and would never abandon my pop of choice for any other brand, I think I might be cajoled into drinking a bottle or two of Pepsi every now and then on Becks‘s suggestion. I hope there is a little more action in this commercial … perhaps involving Becks removing that very nice white shirt. HMMMM. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out :)

Elijah Wood Smokes A Bong On The Set Of His New TV Series

Elijah Wood and some dude in a furry dog costume (identified as actor Jason Gann) were spotted on the boardwalk in Venice, CA yesterday filming new scenes for a new TV series titled Wilfred. Now, I’m not at all sure what Wilfred is about (nor was I aware that Elijah had signed up to do TV) but it would appear from the photos below that Elijah‘s character enjoys smoking marijuana. Among the scenes he filmed yesterday, Elijah was spotted puffing on a prop bong … er, at least, I think it was a prop bong.


LOL! Weed, a dog costume and cotton candy. It looks like Wilfred will be a fun show to watch. I can’t wait to see and hear more about this curious new TV series, can you?

Beyoncé Fires Her Father As Her Manager

Beyoncé is in the market for a new manager, y’all … cuz homegirl just fired her father, Matthew Knowles, as her manager. In a statement, Beyoncé makes it clear that this is merely a “professional” decision and Papa Knowles claims that the parting of ways is a “mutual decision” but … dang. When you fire your own father, that’s cold hearted, y’all. Read on for all the deets.

After a professional lifetime together, the superstar and her father, Matthew Knowles, have parted ways, with Matthew no longer managing the “Halo” singer. “I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level,” Beyonce tells UsMagazine.com in an exclusive statement. “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.” Indeed, Matthew Knowles, with then-wife Tina at his side, was instrumental in launching his daughter’s career as a young singer and entertainer, from the beginning of Destiny’s Child and even earlier. Matthew explains to Us exclusively of the momentous decision: “We mutually agreed to part ways in terms of me managing Beyonce, as my focus is in the investment of Music World Entertainment’s growing gospel and inspirational music division, which includes Top 10 artists Trinity 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Micha Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Dr. Juanita Bynum.” He continues: “Because of the success of all of these artists, my focus has to be on gospel now. I am also still going to continue on with my joint venture with Columbia to work on Destiny’s Child and develop new artists, like the UK pop band From Above, plus Music World’s kids music division.”

IMHO, things have never really been right between Beyoncé and her father after it was revealed that he got slapped with a paternity suit by an alleged mistress and after mama Tina Knowles filed for divorce. To be honest, I’m actually surprised that B‘s professional relationship with her father lasted this long. I have no doubt that Bey will find herself a great replacement manager. Maybe this is all for the best. Sometimes, family members shouldn’t work together professionally. Ah well … let’s hope this professional split doesn’t adversely impact their personal relationship.

Enrique Iglesias QUITS The Just-Announced Co-Headlining Tour With Britney Spears

Just hours ago it was officially announced that Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias would be hitting the road together this Summer on a co-headlining tour … but **just now** it has been reported that Enrique has decided to QUIT and pull out of the tour! WTF?! Details on why he is quitting have not yet been fully revealed … but we do know at this point that he will no longer be touring with Britney this Summer.

Enrique Iglesias has pulled out of the Britney Spears North American tour just hours after the tour was announced, sources tell Billboard.biz. Tour promoter Live Nation declined to comment; Billboard.biz will have more on this story as details emerge. The tour was announced shortly before the singer’s appearance on “Good Morning America” this morning. Plans called for Iglesias, who is currently on tour in Europe, to be much more than a standard opening act; he was slated to carry full production on the Spears tour. While two such high-profile artists with top-shelf production values was sure to be attractive to fans, such an endeavor is also very expensive to produce. Spears’ tour will be produced by Live Nation, with veteran pop tour promoter Brad Wavra, VP at Live Nation, running point. Wavra has previously steered successful tours by such acts as Backstreet Boys, ‘Nsync and the Jonas Brothers. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Additional on-sale dates will be announced at a later date. Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets through Citi’s Private Pass Program.

What the hell?! I mean, as shocking as this development is … I can’t say that I’m all that upset at all. I, personally, think Britney doesn’t need a co-headliner to tour with her so if she hits the road as the only main act, I will be 1000% fine with that. If, instead, her people still want her to co-headline with a major performer, I hope they make the right choice … there are a lot of great performers out there who I wouldn’t mind seeing tour with our dear Britney Spears. I’m thinking Kylie Minogue would be a wonderful choice as tourmate! I’m really curious to find out why Enrique decided to pull out … my guess is that he can’t handle touring with a megastar like Britney who will surely outshine him ;) I’ll be sure to update all of Britney‘s tour news as soon as it becomes available.

A days later, we got to check out a fun web exclusive outtake from Britney‘s Out photoshoot. First Look: ‘Britney Spears: I Am The Femme Fatale’ – The MTV Special

On Sunday we learned that MTV is planning to air a documentary special titled Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale that will feature behind the scenes footage of Britney‘s whirlwind weekend of promo appearances leading up to the release of her new album Femme Fatale — IN STORES TODAY. MTV is planning to air a full length trailer for this special later tonight and the documentary itself will air on MTV next Sunday April 3. Here is our first look at the teaser clip for I Am the Femme Fatale:


I really love these behind the scenes specials that give us a taste of Britney‘s private life. MTV aired a similar special around the release of her last album Circus and we got a lot of insight, I think, about Britney’s life. This doc looks great, I mean, based on this quick 30 second look. I can’t wait to see more. While we wait for more footage and the special itself, we can revel in the fact that today is Britney Spears Day! It’s Official! Britney Spears Will Co-Headline A Tour With Enrique Iglesias

On Saturday we learned that plans were very likely in the works for a concert tour announcement for a co-headlining tour featuring Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias. Today we get official confirmation that this co-headlining tour is a go. According to a press release issued today, Britney and Enrique will hit the road together this Summer, kicking off their co-headlining tour in June. Britney Spears will announce on ABC’s “Good Morning America” today that she will tour North America with Enrique Iglesias, Billboard.biz has learned. Today is the official release date of Spears’ seventh studio album, “Femme Fatale.” The tour begins June 17 in Sacramento and will play 26 arenas in the first round of dates to be announced. It is likely that more dates will be added. The tour will be produced by Live Nation, with veteran pop tour promoter Brad Wavra, VP at Live Nation, running point. Wavra has previously steered successful tours by such acts as Backstreet Boys, ‘Nsync and the Jonas Brothers. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Additional on-sale dates will be announced at a later date. Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets through Citi’s Private Pass Program. Iglesias is currently on a European tour in support of his latest album “Euphoria,” his first to feature songs in both Spanish and English. Iglesias will carry full production on the Spears tour. While two such high-profile artists with top-shelf production values is sure to be attractive to fans, such an endeavor is also very expensive to produce. Spears’ last run, the “Circus” tour in 2009, was a worldwide trek produced by AEG Live that grossed $120 million and drew more than 1.3 million people over 84 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. That tour was considered a comeback of sorts, and was the seventh-highest grossing tour in the world for that year. Larry Rudolph’s Reign Deer Management, which manages Spears, is now affiliated with the Front Line Group of managers, a division of Live Nation Entertainment headed by LN chairman Irving Azoff. Spears is booked by John Marx at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment; Iglesias is booked by Creative Artists Agency.

And there you have it … a co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias. To be honest, I can’t say I’m all that excited to see him on tour but I am very excited to see Britney. As you can see, these concert dates coincide with the promo flyer we saw on Saturday that listed August 5 as the date in NJ at the Izod Center. I am LOVING that Britney will be starting her tour on the West Coast. I’m planning to deffo see her in LA and Anaheim … and maybe Las Vegas, too :) No word on when tickets go on sale but … I’m sure it won’t be long. There has also been no word on whether there will be a VIP option for tickets (as you may know, Britney offered VIP packages for her last tour that were really fun) so I’m hoping that she will stay on trend with the other big name concert tours and offer VIP access to her shows. Today’s the day … Britney Spears releases her 7th album, Femme Fatale, TODAY!! In celebration of today’s album release, our dear Britney appeared this morning on Good Morning America in a pre-taped mini-concert that she filmed in San Francisco, CA last Sunday.
