Things really are getting serious between Nikki Reed and American Idol contestant Paul McDonald. Well, at least it seems that way. The two attended the Viva ELVIS show at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas over the weekend. Cozying up for Nikki's birthday, the couple had a low-key night, drinking soda and munching on popcorn while watching the Cirque du Soleil show. Looks like fun! This is…um, different! Paul McCartney has just finished recording an album that's devoted to covers of pop standards from the pre-rock years. He worked with an orchestra to record nearly a dozen songs, including some with Diana Krall and her band. Explaining the album, Paul says:
Paul also plans on going in the opposite direction and will begin work on another album that will feature "heavier rock." And he hopes to work with Dave Grohl on the new tracks. Paul says:

We need to watch Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place more often!! We have no idea why or where these pictures were taken, but who cares?? They've certainly got our attention. And his first time out behind the camera will be a remake of a 1980's film! Ryan has proved to be very versatile when it comes to the film industry and his acting career. His seksiness has been in everything from indie to mainstream flicks, and can jump back and forth. He's got the draw and acting chops to bring an audience to each. Now he's going to try and tap that draw from behind a lens, with the remake of The Idolmaker, which is:

Oh yes! We like this. We like this very much. It's been confirmed that Thor's Chris Hemsworth will star opposite K-Stew in Snow White and the Huntsman. With so many A-list actors thrown in the mix of casting the Huntsman, it seems that after Thor's box office success this past week, Chris was Universal's guy. He'll play the role of the Huntsman who is hired by the evil queen, played by Charlize Theron, to track down Snow White, played by Kristen. The film is directed by Rupert Sanders and will likely be released in December 2012. We soooo can get behind this casting choice. Chris is HOT and we're excited to see him on the big screen again. Keeping our fingers crossed that he has another shirtless scene! |

If there is one kind of marathon that people LOVE to watch, it would be Law and Order. So that's how we know that when we hear that Jennifer Love Hewitt could possibly be tapped for a female lead in SVU, that it's a pretty big deal for the actress! Mariska Hartigay, the usual female lead, has just closed the deal on returning for the 13th season, which is fantastic in its own right. However, it'll be her last in that position… and she'll have to leave the spot for a worthy successor — where Jennifer could be stepping in!
Sounds like a perfect situation for Jennifer, because we know she'll just slay that part after that guest appearance! Meloni is also expected to sign back on with Mariska, but things are going a little slower for his deal because it's reported that he's looking for a raise from the $400k per episode he gets now.
